  • In this video we're going to show you how to replace a clutch on an aftermarket cheap quad (honda knock off). A lot of these have a very similar procedure. Hope this video helps!!

What gear should you have it in with uninstalling and installing the new one? D , N , or R?

It's been awhile since I did this but I believe I had it in N. Take a look at 4:21 on the video. The metal tube peice slides off the selector rod, so just make sure the plate and selector peice go back on the same way you took it off and you should be fine.

Loved the video - thank you! However, I got the tool to remove the nut but it just spins the whole clutch and I’ve tried using a flathead and hammering it but that didn’t work either. Any thoughts? (I know nothing about this stuff….)

You need an impact on the tool

Is your's semi auto or fully automatic transmission i got a full automatic the clutch adjustment nut on my 125cc is just cosmetic and keeps the oil from leaking i was told the manufacturer used the same side cover for all models it would cost to mudh to make a different cover for all models
