I use a lot of Urechem products. Have you tested their stuff?

East wood do rust etch, rust converter and rust dissolver. The rust dissolver is for the heavy rust on chassis. The rust converter is there for surface rust on panels. The rust etch is also designed for panels if its not too heavy. They have a good video here...let you decide what the best for the kind of work you need it for. th-cam.com/video/DLUmVMLlcz0/w-d-xo.html I want to see how the gel works compared to the liquid on serious corrosion, but looks like good stuff anyway. Krud Kutter appears to be the fastest acting liquid dissolver (soaking). For the gels I am trying to gauge the difference between rustoleum, naval jelly and the eastwood option.

I flow coat every show car. I also believe in cutting and buffing every show car I do no matter how good it looks. Flow coating will give you a cleaner finish than stacking. You are also not going to burn through wet sanding by hand with 600grit, a sanding block, and water prior to flow coating. Mill thickness is not why you flow coat. Its to get a cleaner finish

Ive always liked Sikkens, and Acme Finish 1 both their FP410 and FP415. SpeedOKote DTM in the green & white can works ok for some applications. I really do not like the UPOL it shrinks really bad from my experience. One of my favorites I have gotten minimal shrinkage with is House of Kolor KD3000 series DTS surfacer/sealer. It's a bit more expensive for a gallon kit than the rest you have there except Sikkins as you would expect anything HOK to be expensive. However the HOK sprays really nice both as a high build and when reduced to a sealer and it sands very nicely.

Many years ago there was a coach paint here in the UK called tekloid. This paint could be brushed or rollered on. It would take a long time to harden fully but it flowed out to a very glossy finish. No longer available now.

The additive that you added to it is a flow out of it where is a similar product in latex paint that we use to paint the woodwork it will flow out and you won't see no brush strokes if you put the right amount in

Good video experiment. Granted, I don’t know why you’d want to roll paint a car when a cheap airless spray gun will give you a better result for $30.00 … but just to play along … your best hope of getting anything close to a a smooth paint application by rolling would be in sanding; between coats and a final wet sand. You’d need to use both a primer and paint that would be “friendly” to sanding for best results. Cost of sandpaper plus hours invested in sand an entire car multiple times, plus the extra expense of using any real automotive finishes would pretty much negate the value of rolling on paint and getting the cheapest “maaco” type paint job would be money better spent. I don’t argue that using plain ole alkyd enamel “hardware store” paint, thinned and hardner added and sprayed can give you a nice paint job, albeit a 1970s level of durability (which is fine in many circumstances); rolling on the same paint (especially without hardner and a ton of sanding) is going to give you limited visual appeal and will only provide you with some rust protection. Of course, some colors are going to hide roller marks and textures better than other just like “bad bodywork”. I suppose, for a hobby project, you could come out with a very sharp roll on paint job if you cared to invest unlimited time and effort to get it as nice as you possibly could, but time vs. money, it wouldn’t be worth it otherwise. I know the earliest cars, like the Ford Model T, were painted with a brush using black lacquer. It would be interesting to know how they looked when new, but I guess about like a new horse drawn farm wagon looked in the late 1800s; lots of brush marks and very little shine.

I’ve rolled on 2k high build primers and it works well, especially on small panel repairs…

I use house of kolor Adherto adhesion promoter (or Bully Dog) on the metal after cleaning it throughly and then use an epoxy or etch. It definitely helps

Cheers for the update. You may want to research cholesterol meds; & how cholesterol is actually necessary, in Human physiology. Try doing a pull-off test by using super glue on the end of a steel or aluminum dowel. You can measure the force it takes to pull off and evaluate how and where there was failure.

I started to getingt real bad anxiety and depression about 3 years ago, they put me on celexa 20 mg. That eventually, after the weird side effects wore ofc seemed to help, but now my rough days are coming and going. How much did the first round of supplements cost?

I use my Instant Pot. I haven't had a difficult egg to peel ever since. 5-5-5. I've never tried this method.
