Stomp Vaegirs, get another castle and town. 15 more hours stomp swadia, another castle and town. Grind more huscarls. Now only Rhodoks, Serranade and Khergits left. Fun times so far. Also married big tits wife Kaetelli, held grand feast, was boss. Videos led me to this, well done Beau!
Honestly, It's better to let the lords go free. It gives you a huge amount of friend points with him, and the kingdom he is from. The amount you get from ransom is not a crazy amount. The only time you would want to capture them is when you have your own kingdom, and you want to try to make peace with another kingdom you are at war with. If you capture enough of your enemy's lords, you will kind of force them to make peace.
or you can do what I did: get high relations with faction and king so they wont place a bounty on your head, then capture everyone. I had 22 rhodoks 8 khanate and 11 swadians with about 5-6 sarrinds plus the kings of everyone but sarrinds. once you do this place them all in a town with a prisoner tower and wait. decline all offers. you will have 0 resistance taking them over because literally nobody is there to stop you. only problem is they take a very long time to defect once their empire is defeated and they escape. they are annoying but cant recruit men. plus, once you're at this state of the game when 3 other factions have been destroyed, all of the kings put everyone on treason charges for some reason. because you the relations you grinded out before (not really just happened over time) your king gives you a surplus of fiefs. once you help that faction take over everything not only will they have a shortage of lords (most in your dungeons) the treason charges keeps troop levels low. all you have to do is take out the king, place him in a dungeon, then raid as you please. don't even need to appoint your own vassals. (also huge plus of relation is you own so much that half the map becomes red when you renounce your oath, and the treason keeps the other lords from gaining fiefs.)
@@Marxist-Nixonist-Bidenist That's not always a bad thing. The ai will rarely wipe a faction completely out, especially if you are actively defending it. Just hide in your castle and grind xp on "the ladder of doom". EDIT: I may be completely wrong but I don't think relations with the king has any bearing on how likely he is to declare war on you. What's most important is your right to rule and whether or not you own territory that at one time belonged to them (Dhirim, for example, while an awesome city often becomes the Jerusalem of Calradia with almost every faction laying claim to it at one point or another and it constantly flipping sides). Factions may sometimes declare war to "curb your power" if you become too strong, but when that happens it usually isn't a problem to fight them anymore.
Everytime I capture a castle the entire realm besieges me with 500 men and annihilates my army easily. Also my village gets raided every single minute.
My journey goes, stared as a man of noble birth, got a pretty decent army of man at arms, archers and warriors, joined a faction, helped seize a castle, ever since then, i keep getting destroyed by random armies before I can rebuild.
"Look at the other army before you attack" Honestly I don't really care. 40 Swadian Knights and 30 Nord Huscarls obliterate any army on the battle field. With that man power you can crush the armies of entire factions in one battle.
unless you have great relations with your own faction and their king. in this case bounties wont be placed on your head from your own faction. doesn't matter what other factions think you should be trying to kill them all anyway. I have 22/27 rhodok nobles including the king. really helps when you only have to face the normal defenders.
I’ve got 76 swadian knights and I got jumped by a few armies and jeez did I slaughter them, and what’s more, only 1 of the 4 lords got away, nice payout there
i had spent 5 hours getting 70 elite soldiers, i had an 8,000dollar set of armor, and about 5,000 gold and i had my king and i was going to take over a castle which only had 92 men and i took it with only 20 casualties and i put my prisoners in it and i got scared they would try to take it back, i had 3 lord prisoners they all belonged to the vaegirs, well imediately after i capture it i put my entire army in there to defend it and they counter attacked with 400 men... i tried to help defend and i ONLY HAD 20 MEN DEFENDING and i got slaughtered they took my really expensive pieces of armor, killed all my men, and took 2000 gold and now i have nothing...
don't know how u doing now but 8k is nothing. instead try gaining relations with your king and request to become martial. you can have just yourself, summon everyone else, and have them raid with you. request everything goes to you then sit back and watch the profit. also as far as auto calculations go, 400 farmers is better than 100 knights. so long as you don't join they battle the farmers will always defend the castle successfully
I bought this game today with the Viking expansion and I already put 6 hours to this I dont know how to play for the most part but Damn I am having a great time with the game. And the story for the vikings is great to. I am looking for the sandbox mode kinda too. But I am scared that I will be lost because they wont give you any direction to pursue like the story. So I will probably be lost with not knowing what to do :-( But still a great game I just discovered nonetheless
If you just carry him around with you for a little bit, you'll eventually get an offer from his homeland to sell him back. You cannot just sell him to any old ransom guy at a tavern.
Also... Can you later make something about when to do the: "I WANT TO HELP YOU RECLAIM YOUR THRONE!" thing,. and if you should even do it? And how to win the game
Chriller Media Sorry for late reply... It didn't come up in my like reply thingy. You should leave him when you have good amounts of men, money, good relations, and when you are ready to take over a castle.
Idk about mount and blade have not tried it yet but ( if you capture a king or jarl ) on the Viking one you can click talk to them and take all their weapons and armor . Lol you lose points with them but get really good armor for free I even see the same people go into a battle without armor 🤣 after I took it from them really funny
I keep no lord prisoners I make sure I have good relations then I persuade everyone to my side so I can take over entire towns when my army is like 50 because I have their help
I will say this, your strategy of always charging would get you whooped in reality. Love the videos though and am learning plenty thus far. But I don't think I can consider you a strategist. You are way too balls to the wall. However, you would totally be leading my cavalry unit lol. Just flank more with them.
Whenever I encounter a larger army and I HAVE to fight them (sometimes you say "But I don't really want to fight you, is there any way I can get out of this situation", they'll say something like "No, I really want to fight you.") I just press CTRL+ALT+F4 and they all fall down (it does blunt damage to all enemies). After I've "won", every allied lord loves me (because I "defeated" an enemy lord). I try to play the game legitimately but when I'm in a bad situation, cheats save the day.
I alt f4 if I'm in a situation that could have been avoided (e.g. colliding with a force of nord infantry with a cav army because I was afk, when normally I'd outrun them) but that's just cheating, worse than playing with 1/4 warband dmg.

I prefer to have fun
This needs to be a greentext story
Big tits boom boom!
Find army with 20 people in it and then fcking king with his 200 people army appears out of nowhere. 10/10
Attack king with 20 people. Every single fraction member appears to help.

Always take Kings Prisoner because you can't recruit them to your faction and they usually fetch a ransom between 10,000 and 25,000 denars.
releasing them gives you honor which is important when creating a faction
@@AvengerAtIlipa but the kings will become pissed and you could end up going in war against like 3 or 4 kingdoms at the same time

"Let's Play some MB Warband, sir" What a nice thing to say to a beaten up Jarl
Everytime I capture a castle the entire realm besieges me with 500 men and annihilates my army easily. Also my village gets raided every single minute.
i had my entire army decimated in a battle against jarls
Wait you can command your army? I wish I fucking knew that...
@1:21 You shouldn't pause so long after saying "because they're Nords, they are gonna have really big..."
@1.23 you mentioned taking out the king or lord first, which is very important because that will de-formalize the army and make them scatter.
My journey goes, stared as a man of noble birth, got a pretty decent army of man at arms, archers and warriors, joined a faction, helped seize a castle, ever since then, i keep getting destroyed by random armies before I can rebuild.
How do you get those arrows to show up during combat? Mine aren't there.
You'll find it in settings
"Look at the other army before you attack"

Leting a lord go is actually more useful, mostly due to the bonus of Honor you get.

Nice video man!
I was able to get 3600 gold from a Noyan prisoner!
Vetron bruh, once I got payed 7500 for a Rhodokian Lord ;)
Ola Dahl i got 19,000 from selling the sultan king
I got an offer of 62k for rhodok king once but imma keep loosing honor instead
That's not a lot I got offered 20,000 for Sanja Kahn
How you got that nice armor did you buy it or take it from sobe bandtis lotters i don't know?
Can you recruit the nobles you take prisoner like with other normal units???
Hot do I set up the groups on ps4?
Good question
Right on d pad
i need help
i just captured jarl olaf and i cant sell him
can somebody pls tell me what to do with him

Adam Nuce ok thanks
Keep the vids coming
Also... Can you later make something about when to do the: "I WANT TO HELP YOU RECLAIM YOUR THRONE!" thing,. and if you should even do it? And how to win the game
You basically win when you have made your own faction and took over all of Calradia. With NO cheats at all.
***** I chose to follow king yargolek and became a vassal for him... Can I just help him take it all over?
Christian bach Tbh there is not really an end. My goal, and alot other peoples goals are to take over all of calradia alone.
***** When should I leave him then?

i got taken as a prisoner by a 100 army of nords
Why do your enemy nobles only have 29 people, i cant find any with less than 90
Stuff That lord probably just got defeated and had to rebuild his army, that's why he was so weak
*-Biciclator-* sounds logic, also i managed to build a proper army that also manages to win when i have less people then the enemy
Stuff That's good, remember to use field strategies, that helps too. Good luck

a faction cant fight you when you have all the commanders.
Are you using any mods? and if so which ones?
Nope, just native ;)
With the captions on, every time you say swadian knights it reads "sweaty at night" so now I consider all my troops sweaty at night
why u keep medic out ?
where and how did you get all your companions?
Taverns
swag swag swag gemmie another vid man!
Sweet thanks very helpful :)

Just has to work in the game!!
Liked the video, the game looks cool what's it called
Late reply but if your still looking it's mount and blade warband it's on steam.
Can you sell lords to slave trader?
In any possible way?
how do i sell the prisoners though?
Anson Chan Go to taverns and look for ransom brokers, if you take a lord prisoner then just wait and you will get a ransom offer.
i learned this leason when i was attack the rhodoks ;-;
