- The final installment of the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit's (MEU) journey as a force in readiness, completing their 2019 deployment as part of the Boxer Amphibious Ready Group. The @11thMEU completed operations and exercises in the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command and U.S. Central Command areas of responsibility.

I have served with U.S Marines on board USS JOHN F KENNEDY CV-67 and after wards i changed service to go U.S Army. The Marines needed our Bradley Fighting Vehicle to stop Saddam Hussein Republican Guard during Gulf War One. OPERATION DESERT STORM. The vehicle I worked on was HQ-25. Fully-fledged with Tow 2 Missles. The Marines were ecstatic to have borrowed it as The Lav -25 vehicle did not a missle launcher. They smoked Saddam Hussein tanks , and other associated vehicles. It was a spectacular experience. I am proud to have worked alongside U.S Marines. Devil Dogs! Simper Fidel's. Tip of the Spear!

Tiger Team 2 I don’t regret serving with the Marines however there is nothing wrong with serving in the Air Force, they are a great branch and have many great MOSs. Don’t over hype the Marines, it’s not all that.

Losing weight to become a marine, already passed my picat with 124 gt score. Going infantry, really hope to be able to travel a decent bit over the 6 years of the contract weather that's leave time or travel for training, got a 36x24 scratch off map I'm wanting to fill out as much as I can before I die

I want to be a Marine but my mom/family doesn’t support my decision and thinks it’s a bad idea.
It doesn't matter what they think, you can do it and you absolutely should do it if it's what you want.
You should tell your parents that it is your dream and your life. You can do it. If your parents don't support it just know that we do. Never give up on your dream because people don't like it. When your finished basic training I bet your parents will be so proud of you!

What kind of chopper is that at 11:20/13:02 ? The only attack HC the MC has is the Cobra as far as I know, and that looks different from a Cobra. When I was on the 11th MEU with BLT 1/4 we had blackhawks randomly show up on the deck with a Seal team, so it could be from Army/airforce I suppose.
