Carmen Zena, don’t give up on yourself, it’s not about you, it’s about the team, and the easiest way through basic training is to graduate. Don’t worry too much about the physical aspects. As long as you can meet the minimum standards now, you will do just fine and you will improve with time.
Carmen Zena My advice would be to remember that boot camp will be as much as a mental challenge as it is physical. Trust the drill instructors and do what they say, they’re not going to tell you to do anything that they haven’t had someone else do, and as hesitant as you may be to do it, you just have to overcome that fear and trust they won’t put you in a dangerous situation. That’s were the mental aspect comes into play.

Enlisting once I graduate its been my dream for as long as I can remember
Our marines are the best at build battles
My senior DI called me a pimple face punk at 17. Served 10 yrs active duty. Discharged 35 yrs ago hands down best thing i ever did. I owe a lot To the Marines they made me who iam today i can never repay them. THANK YOU SEMPER FIDELIS.
3:46 respect from south korea
The opening statement is so funny for whatever reason. Huge respect to y’all who serve and are ready to die for a cause you belive in.
Holy Motivation!! Wish I was still in.
I go November 1st you got any advice?
Carmen Zena, don’t give up on yourself, it’s not about you, it’s about the team, and the easiest way through basic training is to graduate. Don’t worry too much about the physical aspects. As long as you can meet the minimum standards now, you will do just fine and you will improve with time.
@@senensanchez7779 thank you sir loud and clear and absolutely will do . I appreciate it alot .
@@TheFacilityguy thank you sir definately will approach it that way. Very much looking forward to it .
The best kind of fighting is one that never has to happen, but if it ever comes down to it, I'm glad there's people willing to embrace the ideology of service, selflessness, honor, and sacrifice as Marines.
1:48 those pull ups though...
Wish I was a few years younger (aka back in my 20's) and didn't have a disability/wheelchair, I'd enlist in a HEARTBEAT! Absolutely nothing but the upmost love and respect for our Marines and what they do for our country. OOH RAH!
I leave for bootcamp in November and I can't wait to earn that title!
Jonamptic You already have the title of sucker.
@@spicecrop And you've got a title too: "hater."
I was close to going to meps. I got a cyst on both my wrist a week before I went to meps. I still have it. I was 19 ready to go where ever my country ask me to go. But the cyst stop me from fulfilling my dream due to the fact that it hurt to do push ups and pull ups, lifting 45 lbs over head, Climing rope and most all traing martial arts. I could have taken the small surgery the doctor suggested but it would definitely held me back. I'm 26 now and I still think about trying out but I still have the cyst. I got a little depressed over the years because this was all I wanted to do. My cousin went to Iraq and he told a few stories of his tours. I was very fascinated and I ask where do I sing up? He laughed and said the marines. But since Im not going no more I want to try for the sherriff's and I hope I am at least able to get in. Of course I still have my cyst. Sucks.
Then get the cyst removed and join. It's not hard to get it removed. Or just don't tell them anything about it. Nobody cares about that.
Damn that gave me chills 🥶
Watching this before my daily workout.=> Motivation 100% ✓
Greetings from Germany
God bless the crayon eaters love from the tide pod eaters❤ only my fellow service members will understand😂
Loveduhmusic now that’s funny!! And nobody else gets it apparently
I can understand why people would think that, I mean we do have some idiots in the Corps but definitely not as many as the army 😂
@Loveduhmusic there is so much crap given to Marines about "crayon eating", but if they knew the origin of how it began they would be jealous AF. I'll give you a hint: Ask the ladies of the Alpha Delta Pi sorority at UCLA.
Currently going through the process to become a reserve Marine Officer. Videos like this only reinforce the fact I’m doing the right thing.
Good luck man! Going to a recruiter in about a month, right now my main focus is staying physically fit and studying for the ASVAB
I’m a US ARMY infantryman and you got me wanting to join the marines with this advertising lol
Need a classic commercial back like the old 90s-early 2000s the few the proud
I agree with you they need to bring back the 90s to early 2000s Marine Corps commercials plus some late 80s commercials they are 🔥🔥🔥
@@dionthomas5418 There is one I keep trying to find that was def pre 2007 I think it was 1998-2007 somewhere in there. It was amazing. It has the classic voice over guy and when he gets to the part "The Few, The Proud, The Marines" he drawls it out and says it slower than in most of the other commercials.
I'm a canadian and I want to become a U.S. Marine
Ever hear about the 1st Special Force in WW2? Joint command group, US and Canada. May be we should try that again.
Just call on us when the violence needs to happen! Thats why were first to fight and has been that way over 244 years of kicking ass and killing the enemy! Gaaaa damn so freaking proud that I became a Marine and watching this just gave me a moto ***er! Thank you guys for your kind support of our armed forces but especially to my beloved Marine Corps! Cpl Abubakar, 23rd Marines 4th Marine Regiment, H&S Co.
Thank you for serving. The pride will stay with you for life and Im 64 yrs old. Semper Fi from an Marine Sgt who served from 1973 to 1977......OUT
My Gentle Pitt Bull oorah Sgt! Yes our pride will forever be a part of us. Thanks for kicking ass during that time and to the ones that never made it back. Semper fi!
I can’t wait to enlist
same bro
what they didn't tell you is at 2:27, you aren't the one giving the blanket lmao
Army look at this. Please dear Lord... Army just look at this and fix yourself
This didn’t age well. Our whole military is a political hell hole. RLTW
Thomas Jefferson I was reading an article that said “army to conduct 3.2 billion study on why marines are better” I’m not kidding I’ll even link it
squibnews.com/2018/05/25/army-to-spend-3-2-billion-to-figure-out-why-marines-are-so-much-better/
Army is so far behind the Marine Corps right now it's pathetic. I wish I never joined the Army. Source: Current Army and it blows unless you are in special ops.
Clark Kent bro, I’m not saying this because I’m a marine but there’s just something overall about the US Army especially their POGs, that just makes soldiers look wack af. Like something about the average US Soldier just doesn’t scream “military”.
Steven K so u think the marines are better based on just looks alone. While it is a good point, that’s already where u made a mistake because it’s not about who looks “wack af” or who doesn’t look “wack af” it’s about who gets the job done effectively and precisely under any circumstances. And this is coming from a once decorated marine
@@acethemc6633 devil dog, you know we are apart, no bullshit disrespect to anyone but Marines are way better in evert way...
This was a nice motivating video to watch while I’m in a holding platoon for MCT
lmaoo damn thats shitty lol, you at SAC in camp pendleton? They still got the robertos outside the squad-bay? lol MCT and ITB are a blast. Get the fuck out of that hell hole and never look back. If you get hurt in training don't dare tell anyone.. just suck it up and finish the training or you will be stuck there for months of torture with the biggest shitbags the corps has to offer. Avoid SAC like leprocy!
What happened to the lava monster one must slay in order to get their EGA?
He EASd
This has to be one of the best advertisements I've ever seen
As an MCJROTC cadet, this is just totally badass.
CoD Iw zombies BDAT I respect what the rotc program is trying to do but I hate rotc cadets, u get to wear the uniform while pushing pencils, the same uniform our brothers died in doing something that actually means a shit in this country u wanna wear that uniform, then sign up and really make a difference. I once saw an ROTC cadet in my school at the time I just joined the marines, and she was missing her nametag on her PC so I told her and all she did was say “uhhhh yeah I know”, roll her eyes, pull out her phone and walked away. This is the future of our military.
You’ll be over this shit when you actually join.
You'll be like fuck this shit most of the week during your stay with us.
@@acethemc6633 Thank God most of my lardass unmotivated pushy classmates aren't joining the military. They consider 1 mile to be a "long run."
I'm sad now, Cuz I'm a lame royal canadian army cadet. The only thing I got going for me is my bagpipes and my Highland uniform. Sad :(
You carry that title with you the rest of your life. I am proud of that. Semper Fi!!
Motivating! 🇺🇲
God bless the Marines. The only branch that matters
