Caddy needs ethanol. This one is tuned mildly as hell, there are much faster ones with less mods.
Caddy needs a good polish, get them swirls out 👍
I worked on one once and the paint is helllllla soft. Breathing on it scuffs it. Looks like the scratches are from washing/drying.

The BMW B58 motor will go down as one of the best engines ever made. Uber reliable, and built to handle gobs of power and torque.
Fax I don’t know if I wanna spend a couple more grand and get a b58 over a q50 sport

My atsv on e50 made 625whp justin schmidty tuned and honestly have walked a couple bimmers with fbo e85 tune so that caddy with a tcu tune and ethanol should be a pretty fast car on your guys channel
I was wondering how the caddy would do on ethanol, it makes me happy that they have the potential to make good power on the stock turbos. I thought they just had small turbos and couldn’t make that much power
Those ats v are quick with rigth mods always wondered what the stock engine can handle ?if it can handle what a stock b58 does then that’s impressive
In all fairness the ats v has 2 turbos and has more power stock vs stock also ats has a bigger displacement 3.6 vs 3.0 so it does have an advantage if they had same mods ats v would be faster though

Tapouts dyno numbers read a bit higher than most other dynos. On a 93 octane tuned ats-v with downpipes and a good tune they are around 500whp
@@michaelbailey2393 actually you are wrong. There dyno read correctly. All stock ATS-V put on that dyno make what they are supposed to 410/420 whp range. Take your car to tapouts dyno and you will see.

B58 boys! The caddy starts out with 125hp more stock to stock too.
Its lighter and the caddy has aerosynamics of a brick .. Its not all about horse power. Bmw fanboys are worse then mustang fanboys ffs..

That Cadi driver sucks Traction control on the car is not even in track mode and he’s not even using the manual paddle shift he just stepping on the gas terrible driver
You don’t want to manually shift those cars because if you don’t hit it perfectly the race is over. Those 8L90’s are best if left to shift automatically.
@@JamesAMG you want to manually put it I. THe right gear for the start of the run then put it back in auto as soon as you go wot. If it had a tcm tune he could just put it in manual select proper gear, go wot and not worry about shifting it. The tcm tune will upshift by itself even in manual mode.

Bimmers have crazy top end.
Dollar for dollar nothing beats the B58. VR30's have horrible overheating issues, belt issues, dated transmission and their btm end isn't anywhere near as strong. ATS-V's are good performers but are horrendously over-priced. After being in the market for 7 months comparing all 3, on average I found ATSV's 45% more expensive with the same mileage. I couldn't justify spending that kind of money when I could easily dump less than half the difference in a B58 and easily push 600+whp. Not to mention the infotainment and interior are miles better in the BMW. Couldn't be happier with my decision.

My Atsv went 9.71@137 on e85 bolt ons and little weight out . And on 93 was trapping 127 mph . But also wasn’t tuned by tapout.

Should come with a robe and a box of cigars in the trunk.

That had to be the most conservative tune ever on the ATS-V. Mine made over 550 tune only and some boostane. We will see what it does with some fuel system mods, dp & E85.

Lol I never understand why bimmers run no engine cover xD shit looks like a rats nest. The covers prevent water from getting into the coils. When it’s basically stock, it doesn’t look cooler with no cover, it looks ghetto
Helps release hot air trapped in engine bay. Can really make a big difference in hot climate

@@bryantg7641 yes, and something different. I've had a sbc 75 RS, an 86 Z, a built G35 x, and a built 2000 Accord. There are 1ks of boosted 5th Gens and 6th gen V8s hell plenty of vortech, Edelbrock and procharged V6's. Now there's finally a twin turbo kit on the market and I plan to make use of it. Life's to short and unpredictable to be like everyone else and not do what makes you happy. 🤷🏾♂️

Um..no..they are nowhere near the same engine.

So they're not both made by general motors and 3.6 l dual overhead cam the only difference is one has downpipes and a turbo two turbos and the other has a traditional header style exhaust manifold. The llt is the precursor to the LFX and the engine in the caddy is the follow-up to the LFX. Saying they're not the same it's like saying in LS1 is not essentially the same as an LS2 34567 🤷🏾♂️
