    I saved $10k last year. I'm going to use it towards a car, when needed. Happy New Year Friend 💖

    I have been following you from the start. I remember Ricky making the same as me lol and now $35 wow. I bought a laser and quit my job. Only debt is my house payment. Good to see the spreadsheet again

    Hi Jackie, Great update video. You and your family seem to be doing well! Do you follow the F.I.R.E. movement? It's something I've followed since 2017 and I'm happy to say at 49 years old, I've retired early! You used to do networth updates, do you plan on continuing to do those? Wishing you and your family the best!!!

    seems interesting that you earn 118K and you save nothing besides auto 401K.... are you prepared in case of bad economy or job loss? do you worry about that at all?

      @EnjoyingLifesJourney  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi and welcome to the channel. That is a great question, the short answer is no, we are not concerned with that and yes, we are prepared.
      Without going into our full back story, I will share our top 3 reasons why.
      1. We have already experienced job loss and economic issues and have not only survived but we came out better than we were before.
      2. We have an emergency fund that we saved previously. As well we are putting money into savings every month for future housing projects and vacations, that we could use if we needed to.
      3. The money that we are currently using to pay extra on the debt each month will be added to savings once the debt is paid off. We do have 2 paid off vehicles, so if we really needed to, we could get rid of the truck and the payment that goes with it.
      Our main goal is to keep our monthly committed expenses at 60% or lower, including taxes and health ins. This allows the other 40% to be used for not only savings but enjoying life now. :) Thx for the question, wishing you the best!
