Props to you bro not a fun job. Had to do it while I was replacing cam and damaged lifters and had a surprise melted piston I had to replace via pushing it out from the bottom. I probably did it wrong and am still leaking a little oil either from the front where it meets the timing cover or because I didn’t buy a timing cover alignment tool and it’s ever so slightly off. It’s a small but consistent leak so I’m not worried about it worsening since everything is new.
Ugh. Mine needs to be replaced. Did the lower, and the cam sensor and replaced the filler plug. Still leaking. Crawled under today. Everything above the oil pan is dry.
Put wood on the engine brace at least and use a drill on the rivets and put the oil pan on a rag or some type of soft surface other than that good job👍
@@HTPJay I torqued it properly to my knowledge. bought an inch pounds torque wrench for the job. After realizing it was still leaking i tried snugging up the corners more. I've just guessed it wasn't aligned properly but idk
Jeez, brave soul doing all that and not using a lift and filming whilst doing it! Fair play to you👏🇬🇧

Thank you
Did you rivet the gasket back in place?
No
@@HTPJay thank you. I’m about to do this job and wasn’t sure if it needed it or not
Mine still leaks in the front corners after replacement. Any ideas why? I put extra silicoln there
Might not be aligned or torqued correctly?

How much hour you do this?
About 6 hours
One very important question is do you know JESUS CHRIST AS YOUR PERSONAL LORD AND SAVIOR?
