iRacing at its VERY BEST!!! | Super Formula Lights at Okayama

It's my first time running the #iracing weekly challenge and we're in the new Super Formula Lights car at Okayama for a 20 minute race. I've qualified P4, and there is a REAL chance for a win here, if I can come out on top of an EPIC three way fight - let's find out if I can grab it!

Weirdly enough after watching SFL races on youtube they seemed very chaotic, just like this one, but after buying it yestarday it was surprisingly clear racing (apart from one race in the wet, that was more like a battle royale than anything :D)

Nice vid and congrats on the P2! I picked up the Super Light after your Canada vid and have been really enjoying it. Massively struggling with it in the wet, just spins as soon as I hit the brakes, so don’t know if that’s something up with my hardware so avoiding those races for now 😅

Hey buddy - it is super tricky! The key is to brake very early and lightly if you’re doing so on the normal racing line, but ideally you’d brake off the racing line where it’s less slippy in the wet. Takes some getting used to and on tight tracks like Canada it’s not always possible as there isn’t multiple lines through many corners

Very hard to keep position in these cars, as they have such short braking zones, easy throttle and huge draft. Whenever you get past someone, it's almost impossible to break away unless you have a massive pace difference

Good race! But really hard to watch compared to your usual. No overlays, the overlay that _was_ there wasn't working for most of the race, no rear view mirror, etc. Guessing you might have used a replay file rather than a live recording, but in any case, please go back to the old way! :)

Yes definitely a one off as my live recording didn’t work on the race! Back to normal next time!
