It's sad that some of Blaneys alternate paint schemes are a lot better than his normal one. I wish theyd come up with a new one. He went from the coolest #21 Motorcraft to just well.. like a basic landscaping company.
Always love that Suárez Quaker State car. Just looks so sleek and the stylized stripes look like they’re flowing with the speed. Other faves are the Mountain Dew machine, that Harvick Sunny D ride, and I always find my eyes drawn to the Tootsies car whenever it’s on track.
I thought the Blaney BodyArmor schemes were great this year. The SportWater colours from Atlanta looks great on a die cast and the Cherry Lime camo scheme for Charlotte looked great winning the 600!
My Top 5 Schemes.... 1.) Trackhouse's American Flag Jockey 2.) Blaney's Black Advance Auto Parts 3.) Briscoe's Red Mahindra Trackers 4.) Gragson's Wendys Baconator 5.) Spire's Gainbridge
Amazing schemes on this list! Also another scheme of mine that’s my favorite is Chris Buescher’s Fastenal car! The simple blue with the hexagon pattern on it looks awesome! Also love the chrome 17 on it!
With all due respect, to Lord Estepp, I would like to honorably call out the lack of the Coca Cola 600 race winning Blaney bodyarmor scheme. The colors are bright and bold, and lack of naked sponsorship space on the car, made for a sick looking ride.
So many great sponsors. There’s no reason when these contracts get signed, that our drivers can’t appear in commercials or on packaging! Like those Star Wars cars, what an opportunity! But nobody would’ve known about it outside the sport. Idk who that falls on but they need to do better marketing our drivers/sport
Denny's mavis tires & brakes scheme is slept on. Also bell's yahoo car Edit: just remembered suarez's light blue aguas frescas scheme from charlotte too
Great list. I would add the 1 Kubota, 9 Kelly Blue Book (I know that's unpopular), and the night ally 48. I would take off a few you have, but we all have our own opinions.
I'm glad Monster Energy was finally ready to try new things. Riley Herbst running a white car and then Reddicks Martinsville car with more design and color. Even them letting Herbst do a Ken Block tribute car, and that one was just beautiful. Hope they continue to be creative next season.
Cal Naughton Jr is raspberry-ing this list somewhere. LMAO! I'm honestly surprised the Old Spice scheme didn't make it at least to honorable mention. lol!
This is definitely a hot take but I kinda prefer that they didn't. I loved that they added some red poppies to it, a really classy tribute. I don't like when they make the car look like some American flag speedos, save it for 4th of July The reason KFB ran the Alsco scheme instead of cheddar's was because Alsco sponsored the xfinity race that weekend
The Lucas Oil blue Camaro for Kyle Busch did something for me. I really liked that car. I really liked the Kroger / Drumstick Camaro for Ricky Stenhouse. The Brad Keselowski Castrol Edge Mustang was awesome. Yes Worldwide Express is a customer of where I work but the Ross Chastain Camaro was a great paint. I thought the Travis Pastrana Black Rifle Camry from the Daytona 500 was a special scheme. Spire did a tremendous job designing their cars. I loved the Gainbridge cars and truck but my favorite from Spire was the Ty Dillon Ferris Camaro.
Not gonna lie, forgot about Suarez quaker state scheme and Haley's tide scheme, but my personal favorite was Brad's black Castrol scheme, just loved it. Also if Stenhouse didn't have a blue hood on his Reese's scheme, just kept it orange, that was a great scheme.
A pretty good list. And I really liked most of them. But I was a bit surprised that Tyler Reddick’s Rocket League paint scheme for Michigan didn’t even get a mention.
I like Blaney Auto parts paint scheme with the yellow numbers, I think it looks better like that, more striking, and it looks almost like a Rusty Wallace paint scheme which I think it’s awesome.
You said and I quote, Kevin Harvick "won throw back", on a non throw back race. His first win Atlanta race win 29 car at the all star race beats every car on your list combined! Just SAD you didn't even list it!
@@EricEstepp Eric I love you "Just Some Guy" man but Really? 1) Logano's 22, is a throwback to his own Ford Fusion at Darlington (red 22 number though), which he and steve park did together with a pic, as a throwback to Steve's car the year he had his accident. 2) the "Wonder" twins was a "FULL" throw back to a movie 3)the "Gain" car is a direct throw back to both Ty Dillon, and Jeff Burton. (But yes the Gain on dirt was a cool play) 4) I think it's peculiar, that the one "Dewalt" car you liked best just happened to be the closest (basic black and yellow as you put it) to Kenseth's Dewalt, lol FYI, your Blaney pic is of 2022, the 2023 car had a thicker yellow side stripe that partially went through the number 12.
I have an idea. Hear me out. In honour of NASCARS 75 greats, can you do a video where you take us back and share what your favourite paint schemes are for each of those 75 drivers?
I would say most of those were on my list too, but definitely in my top 5 were RFK's Castrol Edge cars, either the 6 or 17. Part of the reason I even went to the Fontana race was cause I knew Brad was running the scheme there. Also really like their Wyndham Rewards cars too.
My favorite overall scheme this year has got to be Erik Jones' North Wilkesboro scheme, but my favorite non-throwback esc scheme is Kyle Busch's Netspend car. I'm a sucker for blue and orange schemes on any car.
23XII really showed out on the paint schemes this year. I hope every other team takes that as a challenge next year.
Exactly. 23II easily could have taken up every spot on this list. The Star Wars, McDonalds and Jordan Brand schemes were all great.
Was quite surprised that none of the Jumpman schemes made it!
@@Damedittynot the McDonald’s primary
Other than the McDonald’s primary schemes yeah
Last year it was trackhouse rocking the best schemes, other than project 91 cars, 23xi won hands down this season.
Eric may not be pregnant but he never fails to deliver
guys can we like, not argue about denny in the replies lmfao
DONT DO THIS TO ERIC TOO MAAAN 😭😭
💀💀
Bruhh😭😭😭
STOP with the spam comments
😂😂
Not even a mention of the LUCAS scheme Kyle Busch ran?? It had such an old school feel to it, was absolutely my top for the year!
Should've put it in my honorable mentions. Definitely my favorite Busch scheme this year
I was looking for this comment and found it! At least at honorable mention it was one of my favorites and he got the win in it!!!
I may have missed it but did Brisco car make it from dega
trackhouse had some bomb schemes!
- Suarez at Chicago
- SVG's car
- Kimi's COTA car
- Ross's Unishipper car
RFK black Castrol snubbed. One of my favorite schemes of the year
It's not snubbed. It's his opinion. Just because you loved it didn't mean Eric does.
Dale Jr’s silver diet Mountain Dew car will always be in my top 5 favourites. Justin Haley’s car brought back some old memories.
Wurth liveries are always classic and stylish.
Ryan Blaney's Cherry Lime Body Armor scheme deserved a spot here
Exactly right!
Thought the same thing. I'm a biased Ryan Blaney fan but I am really surprised that paint scheme didn't make the list
It's sad that some of Blaneys alternate paint schemes are a lot better than his normal one. I wish theyd come up with a new one.
He went from the coolest #21 Motorcraft to just well.. like a basic landscaping company.
@@nategrim738 I liked it so much I bought one of the hats.
I liked Chase Briscoe's Old Spice paint scheme! I wish it was on this list! Other than that, I would agree with your list!
Same here
I really loved Truex’s primary bass pro shops car. The orange and black with the camo on the side was really cool.
my complete and utter shock to find that the 78 OOTG/daily downforce scheme wasn’t on this list…
imagine if he hated it
I'm pretty sure he liked it but there were just better ones
I think he was trying not the be biased on that one
Nahhhhhhhhh he made it a sort-of-honorable mention on his worst schemes list because he heard some kid say "THATS UGLY!"
Could listen to you talk about paint schemes for hours on end. Easily my favorite part of your offseason coverage. Thank You Eric!!!
Although not run in a race, Brad's Ken Block tribute scheme was my favorite.
Bubba’s gold columbia schemes he ran in the playoffs were amazing too
I loved the car Travis Pastrana ran at the Daytona 500, as well as Erik Jones Guns n Roses car
I thought the Blaney BodyArmor schemes were great this year. The SportWater colours from Atlanta looks great on a die cast and the Cherry Lime camo scheme for Charlotte looked great winning the 600!
We need Dale Jr. and Eric to do an episode comparing notes on paint schemes.
That would be incredible
Right? They both care about the paint schemes so much! @@MeettheCreatives
The best scheme this year was the Andy’s Frozen Custard that Austin Dillon and Anthony Alfredo used.
Surprised bowman’s Miami car didn’t make the cut
My Top 5 Schemes....
1.) Trackhouse's American Flag Jockey
2.) Blaney's Black Advance Auto Parts
3.) Briscoe's Red Mahindra Trackers
4.) Gragson's Wendys Baconator
5.) Spire's Gainbridge
Amazing schemes on this list! Also another scheme of mine that’s my favorite is Chris Buescher’s Fastenal car! The simple blue with the hexagon pattern on it looks awesome! Also love the chrome 17 on it!
I really liked Rowdy’s schemes this year especially the 3chi scheme
1:59 hey, thats my lock screen on my school laptop!
Eric, pls do a top 23 worst paint schemes of 2023. I'm begging you
My #1 scheme didn’t even make this list, and it was Alex Bowman’s Ally Arena Fortnite scheme from the Daytona summer race
Those RFK Castrol schemes were fire. I also thought it was kind of ironic that Gain and Tide would sponsor on the dirt track...
Castrol scheme fire🔥
I’m shocked Briscoe’s Old Spice Scheme wasn’t on the list it was a nice classic to be honest
Alex Bowman's Ally scheme that he ran at the night races looked pretty sharp to me
You're not just "some guy". You're the internet's worst champion predictor.
4:38 13:29 you know who wrapped those two cars? My dad, that's who!
Woah , that’s sick dude , BIG W to him ❤
With all due respect, to Lord Estepp, I would like to honorably call out the lack of the Coca Cola 600 race winning Blaney bodyarmor scheme. The colors are bright and bold, and lack of naked sponsorship space on the car, made for a sick looking ride.

Not having Chastain’s WWEX scheme on here is a sin
Facts
Bubba's McDonald's car this year was the worst I've seen in a long time
Couple Michigan schemes popped to me. The Rocket League car from Reddick, & the Pistons car Bowman ran were both super nice
Denny's mavis tires & brakes scheme is slept on. Also bell's yahoo car
Edit: just remembered suarez's light blue aguas frescas scheme from charlotte too
On top of the project 91 and 23XI schemes, i loved Kyle Busch's 3CHI schemes this season as well. Ive also always like Byron's Raptor cars.
No KFB paint schemes is a crime
1:40 what i can never understand is why brands dont put their website there
Cal Naughton Jr is raspberry-ing this list somewhere. LMAO! I'm honestly surprised the Old Spice scheme didn't make it at least to honorable mention. lol!
I personally loved Ty Gibbs black Interstate Batteries car that he ran at TMS. Would love to see it run at a night race instead of a day race.
23XII and the 1 car for Trackhouse have the best schemes. The 45 Star Wars car for Homestead or Phoenix was my favorite of the year
1:46 "Put ME there..." (Eric Estepp, 2023) LEZZGO! 🎉
Also, I'd never thought we're gonna get TWO SunnyD cars in the list. 🧡💙💛
The #2 pink frieghtliner should have been on here.
I think there were way too many great paint schemes this season to only pick a top 23. This was a really good year for awesome paint schemes
Those paint schemes are beautiful and they are one of the reasons that I love NASCAR.
My Top 11:
1.) Busch- 3Chi
2.) Harvick- Busch Light
3.) Logano- “Steve Park” Pennzoil
4.) Larson- HendrickCars Coca-Cola 600
5.) Preece- “Ricky Bobby” Wonder Bread
6.) Allmendinger- Gain
7.) Gragson- Wendy’s Baconator
8.) Wallace- “Grimace” McDonald’s
9.) Haley- Mountain Dew
10.) Reddick- Monster Energy Beast
11.) Blaney- Menards (they’re all the same, but his champ winning one is cool)
I’ve always been a fan of Ross Chastain’s main World Wide Express paint scheme
KFB's Cheddar's Patriotic scheme was one of my all-time favorites from this year. Sucks that it wasn't actually run for Memorial day
This is definitely a hot take but I kinda prefer that they didn't. I loved that they added some red poppies to it, a really classy tribute. I don't like when they make the car look like some American flag speedos, save it for 4th of July
The reason KFB ran the Alsco scheme instead of cheddar's was because Alsco sponsored the xfinity race that weekend
7:30 “I didn’t actually drink coke I was more of a Dr.Pepper Guy” Best take in this whole video
I look forward to this video every year! Can we get the worst schemes video back? I love those too! Keep up the great work!
The fact that MTJ’s Bass Pro Shops scheme didn’t even make the list is an absolute travesty. Best scheme of 2023 imo.
Kevin Harvick Budweiser car for this year was on my list for number 1
Can't wait to see Blaneys Pennzoil scheme on the least favorite list again
I didn’t even realize it was a green screen at first
I'm surprised the Trackhouse Kubota schemes didn't make the list
My favorite scheme was Brad/Buescher’s Castrol Edge cars
Not gonna lie, forgot about Suarez quaker state scheme and Haley's tide scheme, but my personal favorite was Brad's black Castrol scheme, just loved it. Also if Stenhouse didn't have a blue hood on his Reese's scheme, just kept it orange, that was a great scheme.
Wheres castrol edge, ross’s world wide express, kings hawaiian, violet defense, trackhouse plex, Columbia (talkadega 1) and kyle busch 3chi????
Both RFK and Trackhouse had a way with paint schemes, and yeah, Kyle Busch’s 3CHI paint scheme looks good.
I've been waiting for this since the season ended!!! Hope you have a good holiday season.
I loved those gain and tide cars. At one point, I had justn haily tide car as my home screen
Nice
A pretty good list. And I really liked most of them. But I was a bit surprised that Tyler Reddick’s Rocket League paint scheme for Michigan didn’t even get a mention.
Finally, someone else agrees! That Columbia scheme is great, I wish I could get a diecast of it
Surprised the 78 darlington scheme wasn't even mentioned
I'm genuinely surprised you didn't put the RFK Castrol scheme on here
I like Blaney Auto parts paint scheme with the yellow numbers, I think it looks better like that, more striking, and it looks almost like a Rusty Wallace paint scheme which I think it’s awesome.
Kyle Buschs 3Chi I love so much, the flat black just fits him
I also really dig SVGs enhance health paint
Mavis Tires and Brakes #11 scheme. Something about that teal color. So recognizable on the track.
It is eye catching for sure. Just not my favorite color combo personally.
Been waiting for this for a while!!
7:10 BIG JUICY BURGER 😂😂😂
Jimmie Johnson's schemes look super good. Never underestimate his paint schemes, from Lowe's to Carvana, they still look fantastic
Could you do a “Best Paint Schemes” of all time or maybe past 25 or 10 years.
Or even break them up into age or decade.
Lucas Oil 8 looked pretty good imo. Kinda surprised its not in here.
WE HAVE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR THIS MOMENT, THIS BEAUTIFUL MOMENT

4:01 scrub daddy gettin some free advertising
I also liked the MTJ's new Pass Pro Shops scheme with silver added to it. Silver touch lifts the car look up quite a lot.
I love the detail in the TIE scheme, the wheel rims have red accents
7:02 it sad it dnp in 1/64
Chase's Napa gold scheme for the Bristol night race absolutely deserves to be on this list.

I would be down with the traditional bottom 10 for the Worst Paint Schemes video, just as long as it happens in the first place
The amount of puns eric made in this video is more then ive made in a year.
Kevin's Gear Wrench cars have been outstanding the past 2-3 years. Love them.
Great Video, me personally I liked the different variations on the Dewalt 20 car
My favorite overall scheme this year has got to be Erik Jones' North Wilkesboro scheme, but my favorite non-throwback esc scheme is Kyle Busch's Netspend car. I'm a sucker for blue and orange schemes on any car.
