The Suarez Quaker State car for the second Atlanta race was the only paint scheme I saw that made me go "Dang, I need that diecast." That green and gold was just... *chef's kiss*
My favorite scheme of the year was Brad's Castrol throwback. First win as owner/driver, and a beautiful design with the white, green and red. Plus it was a great finish to the race with Reddick and Buesher going at it only to wreck and Brad was there to bring the 6 back to victory. Made for a very cool and memorable moment and scheme.
I’m a shocked no RFK cars are on the list. That team honestly is one of the best when it comes to paint scheme with the new number placement. The Build Submarines cars and Buescher’s Fastenal car were very solid schemes this season
Monster makes all these creative cans but can’t put them on any of their cars despite how many drivers they sponsor. Imagine the new Vice Guava can design on Reddicks car at Miami when he ripped the wall to win.
My Top Ten 1.MTJ's Bass Pro Shops car (BNR) 2.MTJ's Auto Owners Car (Atlanta Fall) 3.Denny Hamiln's Fedex Reward Scheme 4.Tyler Reddick's Beast Car (Homestead) 5.Ross Chastin's Retro Busch Scheme 6.Daniel Hemric' Dirtios Car 7.William Byron's Valvoline Car 8.Kyle Larson's Hendrick Car (Indy) 9.SVG'S WeatherTech Scheme 10.Suarez's Tootsie's Talladega Scheme. (Fall)
Some of my favs that weren’t on the list: SVG Wendy’s, Brad K. King’s Hawaiian, Suarez Coke Zero, Preece Wonder Bread, Berry Gold Mobil 1, Bowman Best Friends, Reddick Jordan @ Chicago
Happy to see so many "simple" schemes on here. The Busch Beer throwback is a perfect example of simple being better, ever since they started doing wraps teams and sponsors tend to try *too* hard to stand out it seems, and every overly-busy scheme just starts to blend together, whereas the simple schemes have always been able to stand out since the beginning. Busch tends to have pretty good schemes too, it's just that nothing really stands out anymore when everyone is doing wraps and gradients. It also doesn't help that drivers don't tend to run the same scheme very often anymore, so we don't usually have time for schemes to grow on us.
I really like how Kyle Busch lucas oil car scheme one of the best and also brad keselowski throwback win scheme that he won at Darlington but i really like how MTJ throwback tribute scheme that he ran at Phoenix of his first cup start scheme at Atlanta 04
I'm surprised that Bubba's Star Wars car wasn't there instead of a paint scheme like the Mcdonalds car. I personally don't like the random colored hearts on the door. Edit: I do like the Daniel Hemric Doritos and Mtn Dew paint scheme, but I personally think Aj Allmendinger's Cheetos and Mtn Dew scheme was much better.
Great list! My favorite was Chastain's usual Busch car by a MILE! The use of white and a clearly blue mountain ridge clearly visible from afar but with highly detailed Bob Ross esq forest scene up close was gorgeous. But I think I'm the opposite of Eric. My favorite schemes usually have a lot of white and are best with light pastel colors to accent them like a mint green, easter pink, sky blue, etc.
Eric, I mean this in the absolute nicest way possible. If you hadn't said you were a Goldfish guy, I definitely would have taken you for a Goldfish guy.
My favorite paint scheme this year was Kyle Busch’s standard Cheddar’s car. The orange and black go together SO well and it was one of the coolest looking cars on the track.
I might sound biased as a Larson fan but that mclaren blue and orange scheme was my favorite, like you said eric I'd want them to run that scheme every week even if you change in orange with red, such a 🔥 scheme, if you did include throwbacks, Larson's terry labonte throwback takes the cake by a mile
I got to see 5 of your top 10 schemes in person at Talladega this past year (1, 3, 6, 7, 10). When you include those schemes plus the SVG Wendy's car and the Suarez Tootsie's car from that race, that may be a contender for best paint scheme race of the year.
That suarez kubota scheme is my favorite i think from this year. Like you said, Trackhouse does an amazing job getting their drivers personalities into their schemes, and everything about that scheme was just perfect.
The best schemes (to me) are the ones where I can clearly understand the branding, but the number pops and really stands out from the rest of the car. If I can still easily see the door number in a tiny thumbnail, it’s done right.
i’m so glad the bell mobil 1 car ended up 1st, i was in love with that scheme the moment they unveiled it and i still adore that car and i wish i got a chance to see it in person
While visually it certainly isn’t the best this year, Briscoe’s Southern 500 scheme is easily my favorite. Like him I grew up a diehard Tony Stewart fan but had quit watching the sport around the middle of 2014 or so, and Chicago in 2023 brought me back. I’m definitely partial to the drivers still around from when I previously watched, Chase is my favorite of the newish guys, and I didn’t remember how great it felt to watch the 14 win until that night.
Blaney had some good body armor cars. The one he ran at Atlanta, and especially the one he ran at richmond look sorta like the mobile 1 scheme, surprised they weren’t on here
The pattern on the Jordan car is called Elephant Print. It’s most iconically known on the Air Jordan 3 and the car closely resembles the Air Jordan 6 “Motorsport” …. I wish they’d produce those again lol
Now it’s time for the WORST OF 2024!
1000% Christopher Bell’s Rheem car is gonna be on there.
logano’s HBP car will be there too, maybe even the red version too
@@ssigeon I mean both schemes are bad doesn't really matter the red or green both left lots of space empty.
No RFK is wild
Best RFK scheme was the throwback one that Brad won in.
no castrol supra throwback? no minions car??
@@RDSk0they still have paint schemes outside of that one that still clear half the schemes on this list
@@SteezusChrist69he said he was not including throwback schemes
It's a travesty and throws cold water on these picks. 3 drivers getting doubles. Nah.
The Suarez Quaker State car for the second Atlanta race was the only paint scheme I saw that made me go "Dang, I need that diecast." That green and gold was just... *chef's kiss*
Grillo’s pickles not being on here is a travesty
Its so ugly tho, nothing really happening on it and the white hood is so contrasting
SVG’s Wendy’s car from the spring Talladega race was my favorite. Fries on the side with the blue flames 👌
Imagine Eric in 2052: Ranking the top 52 nascar paint schemes in 2052!
Right!!!
He going to retired youtube by that time
The NAPA schemes are always sharp. I thought this year's Elliott scheme was his best. Very reminiscent of Truex's scheme with MWR.
Next year you need to do a tier list of EVERY paint scheme 😂
I feel like Kaulig Racing would have 10x the number of fans if they consistently ran the Mountain Dew / Doritos gamer car 🥵
That Suarez Quaker State car is my favorite scheme this year I just love the green and yellow on the car
No RFK?? No Svg Wendy’s? Come on Eric
The saucy nuggs scheme was disappointing. Did not like the colors at all.
@@EricEsteppgo look at the talladega scheme from this spring again
@@Doit4dale3 it's good, but it just doesn't do it for me.
@@EricEsteppcould it make the top 10 worst list for this year?
Wait til you find out its his opinion😱
No RFK goes crazy. RFK make the best schemes in this whole sport. And im surprised the wallace Moneylion WOW car wasnt on there
Or even the Columbia Vader livery (blaney is still pissed)
I’m a shocked no RFK cars are on the list. That team honestly is one of the best when it comes to paint scheme with the new number placement. The Build Submarines cars and Buescher’s Fastenal car were very solid schemes this season

the way the best cup scheme of 2024 DQ’d from the clash main show and pulled a fail melon… 💀😭
“💀😭” in the cenozoic era 2024 💔
My Top Ten
1.MTJ's Bass Pro Shops car (BNR)
2.MTJ's Auto Owners Car (Atlanta Fall)
3.Denny Hamiln's Fedex Reward Scheme
4.Tyler Reddick's Beast Car (Homestead)

7.William Byron's Valvoline Car
8.Kyle Larson's Hendrick Car (Indy)
9.SVG'S WeatherTech Scheme
10.Suarez's Tootsie's Talladega Scheme. (Fall)
The weather tech and neon Tootsies cars were top tier this year
I think its time for Eric to finally just admit hes a Christopher Bell fan. Hes not even subtle about it anymore lol
I'm a Christopher bell fan too
Kyle Busch is my favorite driver, blue is my favorite color and Lucas is my name it's the perfect car for me!
I have a diecast of that.
Should have chase elliotts coke car somewhere on the list. I thought it looked great. Also I liked the coke 600 paint scheme.
Never cook again
Unfortunately tomorrow is Thanksgiving so I have no choice
@@EricEstepplmao
@@EricEstepp just don’t burn the kitchen down then lol

Some of my favs that weren’t on the list: SVG Wendy’s, Brad K. King’s Hawaiian, Suarez Coke Zero, Preece Wonder Bread, Berry Gold Mobil 1, Bowman Best Friends, Reddick Jordan @ Chicago
As biased Truex fans, our favorite scheme this year is his throw-back scheme at Phoenix. The candy apple red was a beautiful, cool car color.😎
Happy to see so many "simple" schemes on here. Mobil 1 all gold 4 of Josh Berry’s mustang.
That Castrol Edge scheme for RFK is 🔥🔥🔥
The pattern on the Reddick ‘Jordan’ car is called elephant print.
MJ actually has it on the headphones he wears during races too.
paint scheme looks like a pair of white cement 3s 😂
My favorite paint scheme this year was Kyle Busch’s standard Cheddar’s car. The orange and black go together SO well and it was one of the coolest looking cars on the track.
I love the thumbnail. Eric looks like he’s going to be laying his hands on his favorite rack of 2024. Great vid Eric. Thank you.
My favorite overlooked one is the blue and yellow Zep #14 that Briscoe ran at New Hampshire and Homestead
I'm shocked no Gilliland scheme showed up but good list and thanks for the videos if it wasn't for you I wouldn't know any of the NASCAR news
#5 Kellogg's/Terry Labonte scheme HANDS DOWN
MTJ Phoenix., throwback be dam’d
Awesome schemes you included in your list
My favorite paint scheme is the christopher bell scheme
Of course Marcus
@jacksonrobison1901 thank you
I gotta say, even though the Next-Gen car doesn't race great all the time, it really does look good.
I think Chris Buschers Fastenal night scheme fits the ford perfectly I’d put it in my top 5 other else I mostly agree with this list
HMS had the best paint schemes all year
They were on a roll for sure.
My favorite was 45 Jordan
NO WENDYS CAR????
My favorite is William Byron 40th anniversary paint scheme at Martinsville. Alote of his scheme have been my favorite the last few years

Let’s goooooooo! That C Bell Mobil 1 car was my favorite too man!
6:34 the thing on the hood looks like rat fink
That’s because it is ratfink smart one
I personally like Willy B's white axalta scheme with the red flames and the neon 24 🔥
That suarez kubota scheme is my favorite i think from this year. Like you said, Trackhouse does an amazing job getting their drivers personalities into their schemes, and everything about that scheme was just perfect.
There will never be another scheme like the m&m kyle bush
i 100% agree with the Bell Mobil 1 car i loved it when it dropped i nearly bought the hoodie of the car
3:59 I'm literally eating Goldfish as I'm watching this lmao
Ricky Stenhouse Oikos/Kroger scheme. They made sure every dollar was well spent on that car.
The most highly anticipated video from Eric is finally here!
I agree with Eric about Dewalts. Matt's was the best says this Bud fan
I really loved the Arrow McLaren nod on Larsons car at Indy ❤
So glad you included the Tyler Reddick Jordan scheme, by far my favorite scheme of the season.
Oh and honorable mention, gotta be Bubba Wallace's paint scheme from Phoenix. That star wars one was pretty sick.
John Hunter's mobil 1 was my favorite this year
4:01 I thought I was the only one!!!! Goldfish and Monster Ultras
It's that time of year once again folks! :D
The best schemes (to me) are the ones where I can clearly understand the branding, but the number pops and really stands out from the rest of the car. If I can still easily see the door number in a tiny thumbnail, it’s done right.

Eric Estepp and everyone what are your plans during the nascar off season?
Haven’t seen anyone mention it yet, but Chastain’s Nashville Country Busch scheme was absolutely gorgeous
Honestly the discount tire paint scheme in my opinion looks better in the dark horse
I think the RFK Castrol car shoulda been on here, it’s really sharp
Always one of my favorite videos of the year! 🙌🏼
The fact that there are ZERO SVG WENDY'S CARS on this list should be a crime.
The 23 is the worst car of the year! This FedEx paint scheme is one I finally like. The 99 and 9 are my #1 & 2!
I think there are many worse schemes than the 50 year McDonald’s car
Was kinda hoping for MTJ throwback scheme In Phoenix.
Man I don’t care for ty Gibbs but his cw paint was on point
I like that bright orange and black combo.
I know it would be a lot of work Eric, but I would love to see videos for the trucks and Xfinity. They had a few good paint schemes this year too
That Chastain scheme is my favorite scheme of all time, and I am a Chastain fan so I have the diecast. It’s perfect
I love the bold bright colors too. That’s partly what drew me to Tony in the 20. 😊
I agree with you on mcdonalds im from the 80s and 90s kep it bright and colorful
14:09 it’s called Elephant print Eric😌

Putting this up as my break ends... nice timing Eric
My thing with the 45 Jordan Brand car is that from a distance, the icon looks like the Mercedes logo...
I like that the Love’s Paint scheme Michael McDowell used this year is still running in 2025.
Eric that is wally on the hood of Justin haleys car. Optic calls themselves the green wall and wally is the mascot

My personal favorite was Byron’s 40 year anniversary car, it’s just so clean and beautiful
Having a Chase Elliott scheme at number 9 was a subtle touch, but made this Elliott fan laugh
Chase Briscoe's Mahindra scheme with the mud at the bottom was one of my faves this year.
Not enough 23XI on the list. They easily had the best schemes all year. Also the print is the iconic Elephant Print synonymous with Jordan Brand.
The Jordan design is called cement. I forgot about the Busch call as well. Overall this was a solid list.
I think number 1 on your favorite paint schemes list makes a ton of sense to me too.
Great show eric..basketball texture on the #45 ?...
The wild 31 with Doritos and Mountain Dew scheme is reminiscent of 90’s and early 2000’s schemes.
Putting the Stewart Haas Bed Bath and Beyond scheme at 1 was a bold strategy
Happy Thanksgiving to you and Yours
Blaney's Advance Auto Parts is the best main scheme since the 90s and I don't even think it's close.
Toward the beginning of the year William Byron ran an *Z hp* scheme and it was amazing
