    Literally THE BEST instructions video for any intake, period. I'm going with your brand because of this video and because of your reputation on Accord forums.

    In my opinion, the best looking fully integrated cold air intake upgrade for the 2.0t baby type R engine!! It looks so nice, blends in with the dark grey and carbon fiber cover for the intake. My question is - would we need a tune to use this and have an aftermarket exhaust system? Is that necessary? I already bought a cheap replacement since my filter is filthy lol.. never changed since 2018.. but that won’t happen again.

    Just installed mine couple weeks ago and I loved it! Question, how often do I need to clean or re- oil the filter? Can you tell me the size of that filter? There’s 6,7&8inch on your website need make sure that I get the right one as my back up when I clean it up

      This should be a 6mm but you can also use a phillips screwdriver for this.

      You will find a link to the product page in the video description for the most up to date price. This will increase the induction noise of the engine. How much more compared to what else you have come across we cant say.

    Does this require a tune of can u run it on a stock tune. And this will not void warranty correct?

    • @mishimoto
      @mishimoto  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      A tune is not required. We would suggest contact your local dealership to ask if they will void your warranty if an intake system is installed.

    I have the same intake but do i really need to keep the carbon fiber lid on?

    • @mishimoto
      @mishimoto  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The lid keeps the cold air coming from the feed inside and prevents as much hot air from entering the intake as possible.

    I love everything about this intake, but on the fence about buying one. I’ve read that oiled filters are meant for street race applications because they give the most flow but aren’t as good as paper filters for cleaning air. The Accord is my daily driver and want to keep the engine running as long as possible. Please convince me otherwise.

    Why when I let off the gas does it sound like a balloon’s air is being released? I installed a blow off bypass valve as well but I don’t think it’s that

    • @mishimoto
      @mishimoto  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The blow off valves job is to release air from the system to bring the pressure in the system. This is done by it opening and letting this air escape. This is likely the source of the added noise.

    • @AKN-no9kk
      @AKN-no9kk 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's supposed to. It's released air pressure.

  • @chucky_d1292
    @chucky_d1292 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    Why wouldn’t you keep that bottom air port. That’s perfect cold air

    • @JSpangler
      @JSpangler 4 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      It's not an air port. It is a connection to a sealed resonator chamber meant to cancel out intake noise with the stock setup.
