    So glad I found your videos! You have a great voice that makes it easy to pay attention, and your instruction is really clear and helpful. Plus, I really like the way you have such a strong understanding of real life garment construction, because your stuff looks so much more naturalistic (even if its fantasy fits) than a lot of other tutorials.

    Thank you so much, this is such a niche detail that would definitely elevate any garment's look by a lot

    Thank you for your hard work! It is really wonderful and well made. Keep up the good work and making everything better. I have a request of sorts. You make everything look so good when presenting and I was wondering if you can show us how you present your garments. Something like a workflow between the programs. You explain everything so clearly and well that I'm sure that lots of people would get a better understanding of the creation process and I think that will inspire everyone to try it out themselfs.

    Thank You so much for this workflow! Super Helpful. I have a question though: The mesh that we imported into MD from Maya, was not so high res. But when you export the simulated mesh from MD back to maya, its high res. So did you increase the resolution of the mesh in MD ? or did you smooth mesh in maya before importing into MD?

      So possibly answering my own question: The particle distance attribute in the property editor can increase or decrease the resolution of the mesh. Does this answer my question correctly @Outgang ?

      It's been a while since I made the video but yeah, the particle distance changes how high-res the mesh is. When iterating on a garment it's not beneficial to have the mesh be too high-res since it'll only slow down the workflow but when doing a final export, like what you'd export for baking, then it's worth to drop the particle distance as low as your computer will handle. For me that's a particle distance of 1-2.

    Thank you for your video, does strain map matter for making clothing for games? ie . does it distort on the character model in game if the strain map is red?

    • @Outgang
      @Outgang  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It has no impact once you export out of MD

      @@Outgang Thank you so much, I was wasting so much time trying to get it perfect thinking it would def affect the end product in-game xD

    Hi! I`m wondering, is it a preview of full lesson on your site? In the full version, you explain how to analyze and fix those issues more deeply?

      Hi there! The lecture this video is extracted from does indeed cover how to analyze and fix those issues more deeply. Cheers! Laura.
