Fantastic work! Do you have any tutorials on how to do that leg wrap in marvelous? I’ve been trying to do something similar but mine just flops down to the ground. How do you get yours to stay in place like that? Thanks!

Great work indeed ! Your model looks so nice. How do you manage to have tight bandages like the ones around the head, the legs and the hips in marvelous designer ? I never get something that looks like it was tied to the body, it's always loose somehow. But anyway, wonderful job on your sculpt, i learn quite a few tricks watching these, so thanks for the upload.
This is sick, so much care into so many tiny details most people will miss... some of them probably covered up by other clothing. It must take a long time... do you have to work this much on every character in a game? Do you still make every little bit perfect even with a deadline?

Hi, Ilya. It was really a great working process. I have questions about marvelous designer functions. When you were wrapping the body and making a ribbon tie on the lower side legs, how did you fix the garment in the air? I saw a brown pin or dot. What's the tool name?

@@AllThatJuice- Thanks! Yes, I use shell modifier in 3d max to create a thick layer, I also remove the back side there, if it is not visible. I make UV after I finish sculpturing, in order to put the texture on the fabric, for this I use UVunwrap in zbrush.

Hi Ilya. Amazing! I was wondering, how you kept the seams from MD. at 8:11 you load up the model, and the vest seems to have the internal stitching from MD? Did you do it manually in Max?
If you add thickness, the fabric will swell and the seams will become noticeable, this is easy to do, just right-click on the fabric and select copy under, or something like that
Is there a reason why you redo clothing in Marvelous Designer? I thought you already did the clothing. Or maybe you redo it in MD because you think it look better that way?
That's a good question because he did all the clothing before in Zbrush and after that he start do the same process again in Marvelous Designer and I don't know why!
The other version was a first pass, like a sketch or block-in. If he used that for the final it would look amateur. Making the clothing properly in marvelous gets the most believable and best looking results.
Hello! This video of you is one of my favorite videos for 3D art. Im leraning with it for 4 years already and i watch it very often. Thank you for sharing you workflow. I just have a couple of question if you dont mind. Iam struggling with MD to Zbrush. When i made some Clothes in MD and i want to export it to zbrush, the topology is of course a little bit off. Even, when i use the smooth brush, iam losing the seams and i getting holes. Is there any way to avoid this? Thank you very much for any help and answer!

Hi ilya. i have a question about your marvelous designer to zbrush workflow if you still look at the comments . do you use the exported marvelous designer mesh(quad or tri ? ) and sculpt on it right away or you retopo it and then do the sculpting ?
The whole process is long to describe, but in short, first export to zbrush, make basic edits, then zremesh, project, add thickness and remove unnecessary polygons from the back side. Perhaps there are better ways through max or maya, but this is how I do it now.
This is a bit of a noob question. But after this stage, how would you go about doing the cloth simulation for animation? Would you then create a low poly version of the clothing and then simulate them to use in game? Would really appreciate any answers or pointers :)
As far as I know this is done in the engine, after the character is completely ready, you need to select polygons that will be simulated as clothes and then the clothes will be calculated in real time, respond to the movements of the character and the wind.
