I like how M'gann manages to get Harper to explain the bruise near her neck and her brother's black eye without reading Harper's mind. It shows how much she has grown since the first season and especially the second season where she went too far with her powers.

Um... there are a lot of shows that still talk about all that stuff. They even talk about more stuff that stuff from the past couldnt talk about
@@Cmon_bro12 True, but there were shows that didn't sugarcoat it back in the day, like Static Shock when they confronted Richie's father on his racism or when a kid brought a gun to school after constant bullying. Or Bravestar with episodes like "Fallen Idol" or "The Price". Lots of animated shows, specifically ones aimed at kids, have very kid friendly messages like 'don't steal' or 'be yourself'; good lessons but pretty run of the mill. I'm not saying there aren't any cartoons that don't tackle big issues, because there are plenty, but a lot of the most poignant lessons I learned were from the 80's and 90's and even some early 2000's shows unafraid to pull their punches.

She's taken a big step, and it's definitely in the right direction.
This was by far the biggest part of the episode for me. I hate abusive parents; and I hope that those kids get help.
Anthony Banjak dont side step all of the other messages of this episode, alcoholism, PTSD, acceptance of sexuality, loneliness and depression. This was a heavy episode and they handled these issues Perfectly

hate solves nothing. As it blinds you to what needs to be done. It needs to be tackled contructively.
While I do understand Gabrielle's cousin being upset and calling her a demon. But I'm glad Gabrielle's mother didn't react negative and hostile toward Halo for what happen to her daughter. Instead she thank her for giving her the closure she needed and told her she hope to she will find peace. It was a very sad moment in this episode. It's also sad to see Harper/Bluebird and her brother going through some physical abuse. I hope those two get better in the later episodes.
Don't worry, the moment Bruce lays eyes on them, he'll be inviting them into the Manor and printing up adoption papers. They'll join the family the chaotic family of Dick, Tim, Selina, Barbara, Cass, Steph, and Kate.
I.couldnt do what Gabriel mother did, I would still see Violet as my daughter. Hell I would go crazy and might not let her go

M'gann really developed she learned from her past mistake about reading people's mind without asking, not to mention that in this scene with Harper she showed compassion, wisdom and understanding proving how much she has grown during the whole show🥺😍✊🏼️

@@sqocks8254 As a foreigner, whose language was featured in the show, I'd rather if they didn't feature foreign language at all. I don't know who in the right mind would appreciate their language butchered like that. You can't even call this an "effort". They literally use foreign language like sci-fi alien gibberish talk and because their main audience are English speakers it sounds authentic enough for them. Accent, no matter how terrible, is better than this.
@ghasan23 no i do speak arabic it's my mother tongue and i did understand their words just that they pronounced wrong (they dont pronounce the alif with hamza(alif is a letter that can have the hamza on top which changes it's pronounciation) and stuff ) example she said marhaban (hello) then said ami instead of oummi (mother)

most of the time they don't hire the people who actually speak the language, so it's just ugly, I usually decide to laugh about it but sometimes even the grammar is incorrect, and I can't take it during serious scenes
Does no one find it odd that after Halo went and told Gabriel's family about dying because of an illness that her cousin went and asked about "Meta-Gene trouble"? Did Gabriel originally have an unawoken metagene?

Two years is a bit of an exaggeration but the time placement of when Bialya invaded and she became a refugee could also be spaced out between the start of season 2, so it could've been a more significant amount of time since they last saw her.

Miss Martian is my favorite character in this show because she's a kind and caring person to those around her and may need help. This scene along with the ones involving her giving troubled people like Zatanna, Artemis and Garfield her emotional support are good examples of that.

The compassion and forgiveness that Gabrielle's mother has shown us proves how much she stayed true to her Muslim belief and how big of a heart she has🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺 she could have chosen anger a righteous one at that too and rejection and holding on to it but she chose to let go and forgive while giving Samat something to learn hopefully he will tell this to his children someday,how to deal and cope with loss while being compassionate and forgiving by channeling the anger inside you into something good and choosing what to do with it

This part of the episode makes me proud to at least see a part of my cultural heritage done right even though it's not much but I will content with it Along with Gabrielle wearing the Hijab makes me happy that they did that, but I wished the writers understood what it means to be a Muslim and also the Hijab doesn't make out our identities alone there is more to us than meets the eye but you have to see us with unclouded eyes and see us for the true us

Have you noticed that DC tends to use & reuse the same character models just with different names? Wally's parents in Season 1 & 2 were the same as Mari McCabe/Vixen's parents in "Vixen The Movie", and Harper Row here is the same as Tara Markov in "Teen Titans: The Judas Contract." This is animation, but if it were live-action it would be like using the same actors over & over again but in different roles.
Yeah, the art designer, Phil Bourassa started with few standalone animated movies and the first seasons of Young Justice, but later on, either he got lazy or who knows what started recycling some designs for other non-related movies.

Given what we now know about M'gann and the doctor, this ages like milk.
And over the years Madia Daou, mother of Gabrielle, becomes a mentor and mother figure to Halo. All because she forgave Halo for taking her daughter's body, but not blaming them for her death because Halo didn't kill Gabrielle, Helga Jace did. She opened her heart to them and got something special that anger wouldn't have allowed her to have.

It would of been better if Violet Harper and Gabriella doe were two different characters. This is just confusing. Also if you wanted to make a bisexual Muslim you should of handled it in a more respectful way. This is a very controversial origin. Violet Harper should be her own character but with the same powers as Gabriella.
