halo's powers are the same colors as the rings, and it looks like there really tying that whole source wall and the spectrum of emotions and those creatures that come from it toegther in this story line

Her outfit looks SO much better here then the ridiculous rainbow used later on. This was a pretty cool design unlike the eventual design which implies straight up pandering
I like both the original gave it a nice cohesion made it seem like more of a combat stealth suit and the latest one really stands out like a super suit should
I like the original redesign. Halo’s original costume with the rainbow design based on her Aurical alien body was a hot mess. The rainbow piping and the color change was a good choice for the Young Justice version. I’m not a fan of the ethnic hybrid look of season four. It’s more of a nod to the old costume as apposed to pandering. That being said I prefer this Halo over the comic book version, some times a race swap can really deepen a character and expand story telling.

Why do you think that? They are giving them a whole arc about discovering whether Islam is important to them like it was to Gabrielle. They also have Khalid and he had an arc of balancing his religion and his studies and he's a good character. They made halo essential to season 3's plot and she is pretty much immortal. It's like wolverine and how many times we've seen him take a bad hit that would kill most. They just wanna show off her healing abilities often. It also makes sense that she's a little carefree because she never had to fear bodily harm and honestly doesn't really have to now either.

I don't think that was their intention. They were probably trying to force fit diversity into every single aspect of her character trait tho, that's probably why Halo is so obnoxiously artificial and unrelatable as a character.
