What i did i got 2 of them.. and made corner table.. ( 4 motors ) and chain them so using all 4 from one hub .. perfection really. This helps a lot because i work from home and sitting all day long is not healthy.. I am 6'2 so it works for me ( for anyone who worrying how high can go ). Experiment, try to fit how you imagine to be in your room, this things can be used.. just be sure metal frame is stable.
Love this! 👏🏼 Never occurred to me that you could DIY butcher block but makes perfect sense now. I’ve been using an Uplift standing desk for years and yes, an attached drawer is essential
You never showed a full on view of just the finished table. Where can we see some “finished” product pictures (or video) showing it in different heights and angles? I wanted to show my wife the table and see if she’s interested. Unfortunately she complained that she would need to see it fully to get whether it would work for her space and needs. Thanks! Looks like some great work to me.
Sorry for skipping through is. I used a small drill bit to pre-drill the holes. I payed close attention to not drill all the way through the table top. I believe there would 8 or so screws to attach the base.
@@SimonSaysDIYAfter all of that work, how come you did not use hardware inserts to receive the standard leg structure attaching hardware? Would have been a major improvement because it allows the furniture to be taken apart, moved and reassembled many times. Solid video though, regardless, thanks for sharing.
Wish I could do this but I have no tools or woodworking experience lol. Awesome stuff
Thanks 👍
Awesome job, im just finishing mine, good too see im doing it right 👏🏽
Thanks!! :)
Beautiful work!
Thank you very much!
Great overview! Just curious--what finish did you use on the butcher block?

Never knew a Table like that even existed. I'm definitely gonna check that out.

Explain, are you smoothing planks? Some of us don't know but want to learn.....
He's using a planer to make sure that everything is a uniform height
Where did you buy the butcher block?
I mean where can I get one already made?
I believe you can buy some from big box stores like Walmart, Lowes, or Home Depot.

How did you “simply” attached the base to the top? I don’t see the step where you drilled holes in the table top
