Very nice Glyn 👌 Ive just put a rear rack on my Meteor, it was an Indian one and it took quite a bit of fiddling & juggling around to get it on , the original bolts were very tight , so had to be careful not to round them off , anyway its on and does what i want it for , i must say it was good value for money at £50 and free postage. Anyway your Meteor looks superb 👌 enjoy your videos. Thank you 😊 enjoy your trip up the ⛰️.
The stuff from India is great value, just needs a bit of wiggly wiggly sometimes, and a spot of paint maybe 👍 They put loads of threadlock on those bolts, you did well to get them out without going to the dark side🤪
I had the pleasure of meeting you today Glyn. Lovely to meet you. What a gentleman you are.. beautiful bikes.. quality video. Will be having a binge through your uploads. Good job sir 🤝 GAVIN
Brilliant to meet you Gavin, thanks for taking time to talk about bikes and all your gear 👍 If you want to share any pics from your fantastic camera, feel free to email me (address on About me page) as I bet they're better than my smartphone efforts! Take care, Glyn
@@GlynOC once I start talking you have had it Glyn lol.. thanks buddy.. yes absolutely I was going to ask if you would want to see them.. absolutely beautiful machine you have. What a a amazing job you have done.. your a genius. Once iv edit them I will email them over to you.. hopefully il see you again one time 🤝
@carsandbikes13 You're a lucky man dude! I'd love to bump into Glyn. Only problem is it's a long trot from where I live down to where he is. There would have to be icecream or something to make it worth the ride 🤣
Ice cream on every hill top here! There was a wave of Italian immigrants with it in the last century to the valleys so it's part of the local tradition 🤪 That's our excuse anyway
Well what a bldy beautiful looking bike that is really great looking say scrambler style reminds me of the scramblers in the 60’s very nice well done if you ever thought of selling it I might be interested you never know bye for now👍
Damn! Just nearly spat out ma whiskey Glyn, "I know what you're thinking, what the bloody hell is that!" - priceless start to a video, I'm still trying to catch my breath 🤣😂
@GlynOC he likes riding on the back of anything to be honest. But he loves his vespa which he is helping me repair. He is 12 and getting his hands dirty.
I know, what the hell it is …..it’s GO Bob….er😊 In someways, I personally prefer your original cut down version. But, obviously can’t see it up close, and the Hitchcock version be far better quality. It’s a cracking bike as is Rusty. ❤
Did the gear shifter conversion make a difference? How was the new cam on Rusty Bertie? Did the bigger white-wall tyres make a difference to the top speed? So many questions Glyn!
Hi David :) Yes the gear change is lovely now, like a more expensive bike. I've just been out filming a video of Rusty and talking about his bits so you'll find out soon enough. Questions always welcome👍
Hello, really it's just the cheapest tail pack they had on Amazon, I've updated the description with a link to it. I think it's a different seller but is the same bag, there are quite a lot of people selling the same one👍
I can't remember, I haven't been anywhere straight enough to find out on this one! I bet the lumpy tyres limit the speed, like a mountain bike is tougher to pedal fast than a road cycle 👍 I"ll try and have a go
I thought I'd try it out again in case I preferred it, the low one is ok and feels 'mean' but the original is more comfortable, I've still got both and it might go back on, or even go on the new project 👍 Thanks for watching
@@GlynOC thanks for your detailed reply 👍🏻. Any chance you tried to pull back the forward set foot pegs n make it centre set ? Like the classic. As it allows the rider to saddle on broken roads
Coolest looking bike EVERRRR
Thanks Dave, these bikes are a great design all round aren't they
Great start to the video 🤣
Looks much better with the longer rack Glyn. Makes the proportions a bit better.
My thoughts too, thanks Beena 👍
I was actually thinking exactly that and then you said it!
haha I bet!
Looks well Glyn.
Nice!

Sweet. Would you share the brand of the rear bag and where to order one, thank you. I have a Givi rack on my Meteor and that would be perfect for it.
