Is it worth installing coilover sleeves?
Kick it with me for an afternoon of installing Ground Control Coilover Sleeves to convert Bilstein shocks into adjustable height coilovers.

Bro. I just had that moment yesterday. All I did was swap koni yellows with new ones. Thanks for the life time warranty. It was nice and low withe old ones. With the new ones I was like wtf? It was a 3 finger gap. Set to the lowest perch too!?? I'm thinking it was the new upper control arms I installed. Damn.

Yeah man, was super disappointed. I had mine like past the lowest setting. Maybe good for someone who doesn't want to go as low as just lowering springs?
I've ordered some BC DS coilovers so will update when those get installed,

Nice one Bro!!! What are the spring rates of the front and back? maybe the shorter ones are for the front?

Much appreciated 🙏🏼 front spring rates are 475lbs/in rears 250lbs/in. The shorter fatter ones were for the rear, the rear perch is a different shape vs fronts

Yeah, they can carry the weight. They're probably good for someone who does not want to go as low as lowering springs OR want a linear spring rate with a specific shock. It just wasn't what I was looking for.

Definitely not a typical tuner car at all, but it's got character. I like it the same way people like cars that need 2 stroke oil and weird doors that open backwards 😆. Def don't see them too often which is cool
