Over the air? I watched it in Iowa and Nebraska years ago, but only with cable, which I haven't had in many years. (It was carried as a "superstation" feed on many cable systems in the 80's and 90's.) I recall that it was originally WOR and then added the second W. Either way, I remember pronouncing it like "war", although I don't know if they say it that way in New York/New Jersey, where the station is based.

These (and Vol. 94) aired Christmas week 12/23/91. The "Arsenio" episode aired Sunday, 12/29/91.

4;30--This must have been about the time when those "ultra" (concentrated) powdered detergents first came out. A few years later, nearly all powdered detergents were in the "ultra" format.

Double Dragon 2: Easy to master if you can spam the thrusting knee kick a lot with the NES Maxx, NES 4 Score, or NES Advantage.
Double Dragon 3: Hard as balls unless you use a Game Genie. And even then, its either infinite weapons or infinite health, and you had 3 codes to use. Still hard unless you accidently do a leap of faith off the cliff, slab, edge, or building.
Double Dragon 2(GB): Brutal as ever.

I was born in '85 and seeing the way the people in these commercials are dressed, it looks like it was back in the 80's. This trend continued into almost 2000, also with the perm's being very popular in the 90's. You don't see people like this anymore, its just interesting how our fashion sense and trends change. I love these commercials.

Judging By The Other Videos That were Sent By Bryan Which Were From Boston, This Was Taped Off Of The EMI Feed Of WWOR-TV.

I can't help but note that one would need to use those totally boring and antiquated regular knives to get the food thin enough to even fit under gimmicky things like Roll-A-Magic.

5:00--It looks like magic in the commercial, but I'm sure it's one of those gadgets that in real life didn't work half as well as they made you think it did.

@@timothysprengeler4071 What?? Nawww. Late-night commercials and infomercials in 80s and 90s America with coked-up pitchpeople embellishing the value of products that claim to save you time *and* money but end up wasting *both?* "BUT WAIT! Order right now and you'll get a second, identical cutter we can't get rid of otherwise! That's TWO highly situational Roll-A-Magics, FOUR near-instantly dull accessories for your vroom-vroom kitchen blade car toys, AND this ridiculously flimsy recipe pamphlet that's so thin you don't need to break out your well-maintained, handwash-only, family heirloom chopping knife to prep it first! ALL FOR THE SAME LOW, LOW PRICE OF $19.99 AND YOUR FINITE TIME!!! (Add pride for S&H.) Sorry, NO CODS. 'Roll-A-Magic' recommends sardines or fish of similar size for best results."

Neon signs and accessories are cool, wearing everything in those colors is crazy.

you'll need to win three lotteries to pay off those phone bills for the psychic

Are people evenallowed to win 3 lottery prizes in 1 week? I took delight in her 90's-tastic glasses
that Roll-a-Magic ad is a gem. Looks like it could slice your hand to shreds, tho. That's one of those gadgets that once it gets dull, you're out of luck

Some more ads from my neck of the woods! WWOR had the Universal 9 branding under MCA/Universal ownership from 1987-1995 when they became a UPN affiliate.

"Use Roll-A-Magic on your fingers to make finger food."
I guess that was left on the cutting room floor.

I think the 90's and early 2000s were way worse fashion-wise than the 80s were.

i bet the people that created roll a magic prolly had alot of lawsuits later due to injuries caused by it!
