Promo For “Home Improvement “- I remember that episode being described in this Promo. It was called, “‘Twas The Blight Before Christmas “. The plot of the episode was that one of the sons, Brad, was invited to go on a Ski Trip with the family of one of his friends during the Christmas holiday and Brad’s parents wouldn’t let him go. He spends the whole episode moping around and even thinking of hitchhiking to the Ski resort until Tim Allen talks some sense into him.

That X-Men Pizza Hut offer makes me remember how the early to mid 90s was a great time to be a fan of Marvel Comics. You had the Saturday Morning X-Men and Spider-Man cartoons, you had a string of incredible video games hitting both the arcade and home consoles, and you had some great toys at the time as well. Too bad the comics industry itself was about to hit some major bumps, but in terms of merch, fans had it pretty good.

This was around the time I was really into collecting Marvel comic trading cards such as the Marvel Masterpiece series. The first 1992 set in particular has a lot of personal nostalgia for me.

8:28 - I know inflation and all, but today, I think $11 gets you two burgers and a small fry at McDonald’s…

1:18 I guess that resolves the Fruit of the Loom mystery. At least in 1993 there wasn't a cornucopia in the logo.

It *never* had one in the logo. I'll be posting another Fruit of the Loom ad from 1984 soon and it uses the same exact logo as the one seen here.

With "Thea"; if that sitcom is remembered for anything it's for being one of the first projects for singer and future "Moesha" star Brandy Norwood

Black & Decker- The “Shell Baker” appliance being promoted in this commercial sounds like a nice idea, but thinking about how many times someone would use it, I would imagine it would just end up being clutter in people’s kitchens.
