- On the 6th of July 2019, 84 riders arrived at the Scottish city of Inverness. They had travelled from across the globe to take part in the inaugural edition of the Pan Celtic Race. Little did they know what was in store for them as they signed on for the longest, ultra-endurance in the British Isles. Strong winds, biblical rain, wilderness and high mountain passes awaited them. Arriving as strangers, firms bond of rivalry and friendships were forged. Once started, the clock wouldn’t stop until they either arrive at the finish or withdraw. This is their story

A wonderful race documentary guys. Thanks once again for putting on such an excellent event. It was really special to be a part of it and enjoyed reliving the experience on the sofa where it was less wet and windy!

What an amazing film and great group of road warriors. The cinematography is incredible and the showcasing of such a beautiful part of the world is something I may have to go out and take a crack at it. Congratulations to the riders and film makers. Remarkable.
Loved the film. Heard great stories of the 2019 event, now I get to see them! Missed 2020 entries BUT 2021 has a nice ring to it......

Battery died on the Di2? Surprised any of them were relying on battery-powered gears on a ride like this.
Treve Kneebone Some folk swear about Di2’s reliability while others prefer good old fashioned mechanical but it’s just another example of personal preference
I rode over 26.000 km with a Ultegra DI2 in the last 3 years without any problems, charging my battery app. every 1.500 km. Recommendations to Shimano for this very, very good groupset! This is not a commercial, it was real!

The 2021 film is better, but both make me long to do a long British adventure. Probably a long time before I live that dream.
We were but a small enterprise in our first year with no budget and the homemade film was a result of this. We’re proud of what we achieved though
