I started riding two years ago and was looking for events, when i found this. I started crying. I am not able to ride so many miles, but i want to say that this video fills my heart with joy, love and te will to train more. Such an inspiration. Wonderful people! Lot‘s oflice to all of you! Blessed be!
Keep trainining, my friend, and focus on the target. I started riding in 2020 (my weight was about 120 kg) and three years later (85 kg) I ride my first ultra race 370 km. Impossible is nothing. Greetings from Greece.
The cinematography, the story telling, the blood sweat and tears - absolutely friging fabulous - a thumbs up doesn't even come close! what an incredible event and clan you have built - congrats to every single person involved not only the riders, every single one of you is an inspiration, congrats and love to you all
The introduction caught the atmosphere of this race so fully that I started crying. It was such an incredible experience and the organizers are just absolutely amazing. Love these stories!
Wow! Amazing. The topography is just out of this world! I dont think I will be riding along. I will be skinny dipping in all that beautiful water. Wow! Amazing ride. Thank you.
what an amazing journey that I would much rather not race and just tour with plenty of time to soak the beautiful scenery. Kudos to all who rode this amazing race. Definitely an amazing place to go explore. The film is amazing.
This is a brilliant route. I never realised how beautiful Ireland is. I will definitely be going over there for some bikepacking. Hope I can do a pan celtic event one day. Probably the short route!
...just two years into biking, making progress, but to old (after 20yrs of football) for serious racing, to young for skipping challenges;- this is what I`d love to do!!!
Top drawer again on the whole production of this film. The organisation that goes into this event is immense yet the team make each and every rider feel special and the connection this results in binds all as one. To be part of the Clan is special and lifelong friendships have been forged across nations and up and down the UK. The poem by James Elroy Flecker read by Loz at the end is a fitting tribute to the feelings experienced on an ultra. I was moved by the images, the narrative and the personal stories and will forever be searching for a shirt tied to a gate in my size!
love this. I found last years video a few months back and ever since then I've had the itch to do this one day. not sure when that day will come but putting this comment down here so I cannot back out. cant wait!! love what y'all are doing.
Thank for posting such a great video on a great race. Congratulations to all who took part in it. I'd love to take part in it but sadly I am now far too old to. Mind you I'll definitely be out on my bike in the morning having watched this.
This was a banger, well done to all the riders who took part. Delighted you could showcase the beauty of our little island Ireland 🙌 I’m planning doing a full lap of Ireland in April, if anyone wants to join 🇮🇪
What a fantastic film. This really brought back the incredible experience of riding this race. Ireland was awesome plus there’s a special place on my heart for all my fellow clan mates. Looking forward to next year’s adventure.
Just utterly inspiring, beautifully put together, heartwarming to watch. Amazing camera angles of the incredible scenery made me wish to be there myself to experience the spectacle.
This is another Pan Celtic bike adventure that is awesome and inspiring , which is as challenging as that of "Bentang Jawa" from the westernmost to the easternmost part of Java Island in Indonesia. Warm greetings from Sleman Regency, the Special Territory of Yogyakarta, Indonesia.
Absolutely beautiful. Loved the score, cinematography, storytelling, narration, characters, Wales, Ireland, camaraderie, the clan, the journey. Thank you for making and sharing.
Absolutely incredible job with the cinematography and story telling! Congratulations to all the participants and the organisers. Its so wholesome to see the participants supporting, helping and finishing together instead of just racing. True spirited race. Hope to participate one day!
Beautiful!!! The quality of your editing makes one want to ride this and underestimate the unbelievable efforts this riders were able to sustain…congrats and hats off!
Absolutely awesome, I’ve been looking forward to this and it’s just what I needed right now. Thanks. More focussed than ever on aiming to ride with you in 2024…
We've been finishing at Matt and Bec's house for years. With this edition, we needed to have a second finish line away from the house with the arrival of large groups in the small hours. during normal hours, the race finished at house.
What I don´t really understand is what you get for the 520 €? It is self supported, so why is this event so extremly expensive? 50€ would be a better fitting price it seems. Are the ferry fees included?
Maybe you should try and organise an ultra distance cycling event to the level that we do and see how much debt you find yourself in when charging that amount. We wish you luck.
No thank you. I would not like to earn money with such an event. But I´m organizing the yearly bike ride from our cycling club which costs 8 Euro. You can choose differnet routes from the family friendly 45km up to 135km. The hole route has different food stations (for free) and is marked with signs + gps track. Every club member with family is helping to make this possible. And nearly every cycling club in germany is organizing such an event every year. So if you don`t want to answer my question it´s okay, in my opinion the price is to high for the product you offer. I would rather ride the route by my own, I don´t need to stop my time for this so I could rather enjoy the fantastic landscape. I wish you good luck in your future endeavors. @@PanCelticRaceSeries
To answer your question would take a lot of time. There are so many things that you get when you enter the Pan Celtic Race. The route, (which takes a lot of planning) the experience, the friendship with like minded people who you join on the ride, friendships that last a lifetime. Sponsors products, huge discounts on sponsors products (totalling far more than our entry fee, should you choose to use them), Gathering events throughout the year, event photography, event films (like this one, that cost an awful lot to make), the team out on the route before during and after the race. The ferries are included. Bag drops. The list goes on. We’re fully insured and complete a full and comprehensive turn by turn risk assessment. It’s great that you organise rides with your clubs like that across Germany. Respect to you. But please understand that the commitment and hard work that goes into the Pan Celtic Race, from three people who work full time jobs and have families shouldn’t be scoffed at. You might not agree with the price, but it’s a fair price and one we stand by. If you choose to ride the routes on your own, chapeau and good luck, but you will miss being a part of something that is truly wonderful and of which, we’re very proud.
Friends keep tagging me in this crap as I’ve toured for years without having to race or join a ‘community’ and they think I’ll like it Give over Marcus
Mimi doing that at her age with her lovely pink set is so touching
never underestimate "older" people on bikes.. I've been totally smashed by people twice my age a few times.
The fixed Dude is the true hero of the Race 🔥🖤
I’d love to know what passage he was reading from in the closing scenes. Beautiful. Mind boggling he did it on a fixie.

Would be interesting to see how much of the demographic was middle-class+
Why?
@@PanCelticRaceSeries I was told that it's mainly middle-class and above who cycle so I'm gathering information to determine whether that's true.
I don’t think that’s true here
