🚴♀🌟 What a captivating cycling adventure! It's a privilege to add such a high-quality video to our collection. Hats off to you for the amazing content! 🥳
Great job Brady on managing to cover the race, a serious challenge for one person. You did a great job representing it. Thanks to everyone that made the film possible.
Congratulations to any rider that even attempted the race. The dedication and courage it has to take to start is incredible. This has to be one of the best if not the best cycling video I have ever seen. Look forward to seeing more when things return to normal.
@@bradylawrence3201 you can do this movie in 3 version :) long -2h, normal (just like it is now) and short - 5 min... but still it is awesome and inspiring and thank you!
2021. Here in Austria we just started our mist recent lockdown. I. In my basement ticking over the kilometers. Thanks for such a wonderful motivating movie.
@9:12 I love his energy man. Such a nice guy. I can't put into words how amazing this race and the country looks. Watching this in my student apartment with a old road bike in the corner.. man, one day I will race this. I love it. That's what live is about, I guess: the adventure
Yo i jut want to let you know that I never related to anything more hahaha I myself am in university as well. Also have had a bike for a year and try and do all the servicing myself. One day we will be able to race just like all these people we see in these youtube videos hahah Hang in there man, our time is coming hehe
Really appreciated this film! Thank you for taking the effort to make this. The ultra-distance-cycling seems to be a great community to be a part of. Goodonya!
14:58 - as much as I enjoy that there are sport events like this, it is actually quite dangerous to exercise that long without sleep, I remember newspapers writing about people collapsing, being dead after 68 hours of playing video games without sleep, sometimes less in the early 2000s. I feel like there should be rules for this race like you're not allowed to ride for more than 36 hours without at least 6hours of sleep or I don't know, something like that. 😬
Can you make it accessible by adding closed captioning please? It is hard to watch with only the auto caption which never work properly for those who rely on it.
Felicidades Nelson Trees. Genial video documental. Felicidades Nelson!!!
Inspirational and extremely well executed video. You have to get Lacklan Morton from EF racing and those slackers from The GCN show to do the next race.
They all carry a sleeping bag and either a bivy or tent. They are also free to sleep in hotels/guesthouses, etc. along the way. As long as its commercially available to all riders, it's ok. The checkpoints do also generally have accommodation but can get very busy.
No issues with assembly for me th-cam.com/users/postUgkxHL1v1R3NE5x4KiYfyt8dnQmyNYz7qi5L but I could see where some might benefit from using an experienced bike assembler/mechanic. I'm an older rider starting back after a 10 year break. This bike exceeds my capabilities and has been easy to get comfortable riding. I'm mostly on easy trails with almost no street riding and have not been disappointed with the performance of the bike. My fitness level is far below what I previously rode with and because of that the mileage is going on the bike slowly. While I'm losing weight slowly, the bike seems to tolerate my 220 pounds just fine. The bike has been used by several family members ranging from 5'5" - 5'9".
a bunch of first world cyclists cross such a beautiful country without having any contact to locals, yes, its a race, I know. and they will say: ahh I will come back and enjoy Morocco without racing. at least the filming could have included the beautiful people of Morocco.

Thanks a lot James! Definitely had quite the assist from all of the volunteers and drivers. Great job racing!
Hi, James just curious. Are the winners of these races subjected to any dope testing? or is it all in good faith?
@@thepleasureroom9646 Good faith.
@@jameshayden33 thanks, super impressive regardless.
Riding 87h. Sleeping 1,5h. That's beyond unhealthy. Still a tough achievement! Can't believe a body is capable of this torture. Nice documentary!!
He's a machine.

Beautifully shot. Thank you
That was great-but I wanted it to be longer. I need to see more films like this. Sofian was unbelievable.
This is nice to hear! I left A LOT on the cutting room floor. The first cut was like 2 hours long.

One question: Do the riders sleep at the checkpoints, or do they carry some tents, or bivouac sacks?
They all carry a sleeping bag and either a bivy or tent. They are also free to sleep in hotels/guesthouses, etc. along the way. As long as its commercially available to all riders, it's ok. The checkpoints do also generally have accommodation but can get very busy.
Respect 👊
what kind of bikes are these
It's a mix of gravel bikes and hardtail mountain bikes. There are one or two full-suspension setups in the mix.
It would have been very interesting to see how Mike Hall would have done. Personally I think he would have won it.
45 seconds drink
One of the best parts of the film.
One more please... =)

The irony of riding a bike up a hill only to walk back down the other side. Not my cup of tea that's for sure.

900km into a 1200km race...smoke break😂
That was maybe my favorite scene to film!
will never understand why these guys ride chain bikes and not belt bikes. For me it's like trying free riding down a slope with cross country skis.
Question is: find someone likewise stupid or try it alone.
It takes a frenchman to do this kind of event and just casually take a smoke.
Definitely one of my favorite moments.
