Silver with black accents are my favorite color combo, and it makes your N look absolutely stunning and mean with it. In my biased take, I just think this catfish faced car looks mean and beautiful as hell 🤤 . I might be getting the 2024 model, which hopefully I’ll also learn to love, because the 23s face really grew on me.

I love SXTH but when you do it with the method I just listed there is nothing showing that says SXTH so to anyone opening the engine bay it looks stock unless you know what you are looking for.
I went ahead and spent the money on the OEM Hyundai Performance Intake. With the experience i have gained over time, i have learned many things about airflow inside automotive induction systems. Specifically with turbo charinging systems a higher flowing, wider diameter "down pipe" would maximize the volume of air moving through the system as a whole. In your case since you have upgraded your down pipe, you might have additional power gains via the turbo inlet. Shark Racing does offer what seems to be a custom inlet for the HPI however i have also wondered if the SXTH inlet would work too.. 🎉
Did you guys have issues with the powertex battery? Not sure if related but since I put the powertex battery in my ek1 pro stopped receiving a signal from the car. I will put the OEM battery back on later today but wondering if y'all experienced issues with it.
How does this sound? I'm honestly mainly looking at an intake for the sound difference, and I imagine with this kind of filter it'll sound stock. Really trying to get more intake noise and hear more of my turbo and get a slightly different engine note. Is this the wrong intake for me? Was looking at a sxth open intake instead
Yeah, this is somewhat of a controversial take but we need to be clear that our cars already have a built in air oil separator in the head. In fact, most modern cars already do. I'm not really worried about carbon build-up as it's actually really easy to clean every 100K (which I won't have the car for 100K miles anyways). For me, the hassle of additional weight, the fact that you have to empty it, the extra unforeseen issues with lines blowing off/freezing makes it not worth it in my opinion. But again, that's just my opinion for my use case.
@@williamrori1274 very interesting 🤔. To know our cars had a built-in oil/ air separator in the cylinder head. So the oil just collects from the head back to the crank case? Blow by Oil vapors will not affect the octane?
you wont see hp gains with just a cold air intake. Its just more proficient at providing air to the turbo. You will only see gains with a turbo inlet and a CIA but even then its minor. and no you don't need a tune for either.

What is the pressure delta between OEM and this? Have you measured? I get a larger diameter intake tube but the restriction is at the turbo reducer/coupler. However, bigger isn't always better even on turbo applications.. especially on such a lightly modified engine. It would be great if these companies provided hard data and maybe before and after dyno results. Net is the sticker kit might add as much or possibly more HP.
Will the turbo inlet void the warranty and will either of the 2 void the warranty im probably gonna buy an Elantra N soon and I wanna make some performance mods
@@williamrori1274 Can you include dyno results to back this ~10whp up? I've looked and found nothing conclusive. Really seems like a bunch of BS from these aftermarket companies, especially for engines that are not heavily modified where the intake/exhaust and turbo are the restrictions.
@@shamalabadingdongTekeda claims 7 hp increase however Gail Banks did a video how companies can skew results like preexisting mods elsewhere such as already existing mods like inlet and down the line with larger exhaust.. Everything works best in conjunction as opposed to just measuring one item at a time!✌️

per their website this only fits the EN, was gonna go this route for my KN too but not sure why EN only on their website

Also, even adding an inlet..the compressor housing of the turbo is still a bottle neck. Just have a bigger tube going to that bottleneck.

If you're worried about having a warranty claim denied don't modify your car.

Nothing crazy. ~10whp near the top of the rev range.
