The part that made the biggest difference are the charge pipes. From my experience, the turbo inlet didnt add much other than a bit of response and noise. The charge pipes actually woke the car up and gave the car much more top end power. Power no longer dies down at higher RPMs.
Unfortunately the clamps provided by SXTH are bad the leak intermittently. I have contacted SXTH the refunded me for the kit and sending much better clamps. I made a facebook post about this issue and many others are having this issue. Just a FYI.
Those t bolt clamp provided by SXTH after 48 hour at a very good performance shop they still leak boost .. cheap Chinese crap. SXTH is aware I have a Facebook post.. a lot of people are having the same issue

I now hear kinda a metallic whirring noise sometimes with this on. I had a tight and kinda sketchy fit with the middle hose clamp. Wondering if maybe air is getting through. Did u experience similar sound with yours? Otherwise I may wrap some silicone tape around the connection to be sure before heading to track.
No, know whirring metallic sound, though it could be vibration you are hitting from metal hitting each other? I would check around the pipe to see if its resting against anything causing that sound.
Yes, I will be getting one as well. For my car, I really like how the MST downpipe has responded to the car over these miles. Power delivery is clean and the additional performance is felt.
@@CarQuicks got it installed already. crazy difference. waiting on the turbo inlet pipe now. should complete the setup. hopefully it fits the eventuri intake.
Yes, the backside of all intakes ends usually at a larger outlet then OEM, something like 3", the same as SXTH and MST intakes. I would say Eventuri would be the same.
It could, but you would need a coupler going to the OEM airbox that reduces to the size of that outlet. The inlet is 3" in size where the OEM airbox is something like 2.5" or less.
The main difference is the Forge unit is a silicone hose and SXTH is a hard aluminum construction. I prefer the SXTH, but I have heard good things about Forge and they are run on a lot of cars and many GR Yaris's.
The release date should be sometime this month (June). The pricing for the kit it in the $200 range.
That's not a terrible price point.

The Texas heat defeated us these past weeks for the charge pipe install, but it’s coming!

I initially had a boost leak but I tightened them again and I do not have issues anymore. No more whistling.

Are you planning on getting one for your car? What is your favorite/ best improvement mod so far?
Yes, I will be getting one as well. For my car, I really like how the MST downpipe has responded to the car over these miles. Power delivery is clean and the additional performance is felt.
Do the charge pipes work with stock intercooler intent diameter?
No SXTH Element charge pipes are 2.25 IN in diameter and the OEM one is around 1.77 IN.
How was the charge pipe install? Mine come in today.
Haha! Man… the Texas heat had us delay that install but it’s coming soon!

When are you post in the mid pipe review/ comparison video?
I've actually done 2 videos on the midpipe, I'll post them here:
- th-cam.com/video/YblVvP8MzAg/w-d-xo.html
th-cam.com/video/iFWRPeUzHlw/w-d-xo.html
And here I tested the MST Downpipe with the same midpipe:

I would like to assume this works with aftermarket intakes? Like eventuri?
All**

Would this fit the eventuri intake?
Yes it will.
Does this inlet setup fit OEM airbox?
It could, but you would need a coupler going to the OEM airbox that reduces to the size of that outlet. The inlet is 3" in size where the OEM airbox is something like 2.5" or less.
This makes me want the type r more, seems easier to work on.
You can't go wrong with a CTR thats for sure. The FL5 was on my short list of cars I was test driving and its amazing!

Coming out this month!
first !!!
How does this compare to the Forge? Thats the one I'm rocking.
