✿ Veganlovlie Recipes / Flatbread : In one of my What I Ate Wednesday videos, I presented these sweet potato flatbreads with mashed avocados as what I ate for breakfast on that day (th-cam.com/video/9CoKinIJyDM/w-d-xo.html). I have had quite a few requests for the recipe since then. So, I thought I'd share the recipe; it is such an easy one with just two ingredients. Who doesn't like a two-ingredient recipe?! One important procedure in this recipe is to use the sweet potato while it is hot. The heat makes a much softer roti. By the way, white sweet potatoes would also work well in this recipe although the dough may require a tablespoon of water added in as white sweet potatoes tend to be a little drier than the orange ones. These sweet potato rotis also keep well in an airtight container for the next day. Reheating them on a tawa or skillet brings their softness back. They go well with sweet as well as savoury fillings. I do suggest you pair them with some spicy curry as their subtle sweetness makes a palatable contrast. ✿ FULL PRINTABLE RECIPE ✿ ▶ www.veganlovlie.com/2015/03/sweet-potato-flatbread-no-added-oil.html Concerning Gluten-Free options: I have experimented with a store-bought gluten-free flour blend but it didn't work well. It had a blend of rice flour, tapioca flour, cornstarch and some gum. Some people have tried with chickpea flour+millet mix and they said they obtained some decent results although they had to do smaller ones because they were a bit more tricky to handle. Other people have tried with coconut flour and reported that the rotis turned out good enough although they had to keep flouring them when rolling them out. I suggest if you using one of these gluten-free flours/mix, you try roll then out in between 2 sheets of parchment or wax paper. I haven't made these with any other gluten-free flour for myself but if I do find a gluten-free blend that works, I will update this. ✿ Help Veganlovlie Grow ✿ ▶ Like, comment and share this video. Veganlovlie | Vegan Fusion-Mauritian Cooking I have only just found your chanel and I'm so glad I have! I was salivating watching this video, it looked so good. Have you done a video of the stuffed cabbage leaf curry recipe yet? That looked lovely too. Can't wait to make some of your recipes! Have you produced a cook book? I would definitely buy it.
It’s so nice to watch a ‘real’ recipe video on TH-cam. I am so bored of these ridiculous over polished videos in some ridiculous kitchen that looks like a studio set. This is a proper recipe that I would want to eat and not some dumb Buddha bowl that has 10 ingredients and would cost you $10 to make one portion. The presenter here is lovely. I just feel like I’m sat in a friend’s kitchen and they are teaching me how to cook. Very relaxing style. I’m looking forward to making this one. So glad I found your channel x
Thank you. This bread is easy and delicious. I make it with equal parts oat flour and mashed sweet potatoes. I add onion powder, too, or, cinnamon. I went and found an electric griddle to cook them. I place them on a pan and freeze them before moving them into an airtight container to be stored frozen. When I feel like having some I pull them from the freezer and warm them in the toaster oven.
I made your recipe for my family in México and they loved them. They also loved the name of the bread. My aunts watched this video several times just to make sure they get it right. 🥰🥰 Thank you so much for sharing.
Been making this for a few years now. Best thing I ever ate. I leave some tiny flecks of sweet potato and it's so good when you char the rotis a bit and it caramelizes.
I just made the recipe and its freaking awesome!! Definetly becoming one of my lunch essentials for wraps. My favorite filling would be guacamole, salsa, fried plantain, rice and beans and lettuce :) have a nice day miss
One word: "yumilicious!" So I made and had it for lunch today, mine came out soft and chewy. The edges weren't round, more of uneven cracks but turned out delicious. I paired it with tofu, vegs, lentil hummus.. Thank you!
I have made these several times already and LOVE them! I have made salads, pizzas, a bit of homemade fruit preserves and she's right - plain with nothing in them is just as good. I've been experimenting and adding herbs to the batter before cooking. So far, a combination of basil, sage and lemon thyme taste great and savory in the mix, complimenting the flavor of the sweet potato. Next time I make them I am going to add some minced onion and sweet red peppers to the mix. I think this would make my salads have a nice flavor. I am glad I ran into this recipe, it is so easy and tastes so great!

Thank you. With my autism, some people are difficult to listen to due to the tone and tempo of their voice, but yours is just perfect and your recipes are fab. Can't wait to try these 💕
Love these!!! I made them several times using both fresh and canned sweet potatoes and they come out really well. Using Krusteaz Gluten Free flour mix and having no issues rolling it out although I do not get much "bubbling." They come out nice and soft though following your suggestions. I also season them using an everything bagel seasoning blend of garlic, onion, seas salt, poppy seeds and sesames seeds and it makes these irresistibly yummy by themselves or as an accompaniment to soups and stews too. Thanks so much for this super easy very yummy recipe and the terrific suggestions and tips you include in the video.
I made these with gluten-free flour (buckwheat flour) and had them with moong dal. They were extremely delicious... I even did this with purple sweet potatoes! 😍😋
amazing. I enjoy how gentle and calm you are in explaining as opposed to the more militant, aggressive videos I have seen where I feel more stressed than at ease exploring something I love. Veganlovlie is a recent find and I am very much looking forward to exploring your videos. Asante
You can do the same with whole wheat flour! Though it may be a bit more difficult to work with. You can also use unsweetened canned pumpkin puree in place of the sweet potatoe which I like to use sometimes. I also like to add some cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice (:
Thanks for sharing this recipe. I cooked them right after watching. Using a baked sweet potato, I added some water to a peeled and mashed sweet potato that I warmed in a pan, before placing in a bowl with flour. Very good results.
When we were little for a dessert my Mexican grandmother would give us tortillas with peanut butter and honey spread inside, I did this with that sweet potato flatbread for a healthy dessert with organic almond butter and organic honey it was lick your fingers good…
Just made this yesterday and I'm totally a novice in making pita/roti but this recipe is super simple that it is super easy to make and they taste super good. Thanks for sharing the recipe!
+Lydia I can't reply to you directly because of your google+ settings. I was having this with a stuffed cabbage curry. I've had a lot of requests for the recipe. So, I will be posting it in the coming weeks as soon as I get the chance to work on it. :)
+Veganlovlie I love your channel. The sweet potato roti turned delicious. I'd love to try the stuffed cabbage curry as well. It looks so moisture and yummy. Thanks for sharing your great recipes xxx
+Transhumanism [h+] Me personally, I'll be using gluten free flour. I know your question wasn't to me, I'm just excited to make the cabbage stuffed roti. :)
I like your version of sweet potato flat bread, you gave a lot details in your videos for example "not to over knead the dough to prevent from adding too much flour into the dough and it would turn out to be harder bread". This is important to someone who totally have no idea how to make dough with flour. I did try to make dumplings but the dough turned out to be too hard probably due to over kneading 😩😢 You also mentioned in your video the thickness of the flatbread should be around 2mm, and the duration of cooking each flatbread. I like how you use a towel to keep the bread soft and warm too. I am going to try this for our lunch today together with mango cilantro salsa, and some vegetables. Thanks again for the great recipe.
It has been quite a while that I worked with flour. I followed the recipe and the video to make these delicious flatbreads. I had to make a few repairs as I rolled the dough, but everything turned out great. I was pleasantly surprised with how soft they became by following the instructions on stacking, covering with cloth, and flipping the stack over to preserve the warmth. I will certainly make them again.
These turned out great. I used mostly spelt flour, with just a dash of all purpose flour, and the dough was so elastic and easy that next time I will try all spelt. Nice subtle sweet flavor- would probably be delicious with a little cinnamon or cardamom in the dough, and served hot with a sprinkling of sugar. For any Scandinavians- this reminded me a lot of lompe after I smelled and bit it. If you have been missing lompe, try this recipe but replace the sweet potato with steamed/boiled regular potato, and maybe use potato starch when rolling it out!! Yay pølse med lomper!! Thank you VeganLuvlie for a great, easy to follow, versatile recipe 😊🙏🏻
Teenuja, thank you for this video. I just made this and the roti is soft, sweet, and absolutely delicious! I put several small, white sweet potatoes with an inch of water in a covered bowl in the microwave for about 8 minutes in order to steam them through, cut them in half while hot, and the skins just pinched right off. As you said, I did have to add a bit of water to make the dough wet enough. Didn't have a rolling pin so I used a wine bottle, and I kept the stove fire on medium and the roti cooked fast without burning. If anyone, like me, lacks the required finesse to use a normal spatula, I recommend a pancake flipper, lol. I work for a lot of Indian households who often feed me, and I always tell them how much I appreciate it because although Indian food is one of my favorite cuisines, it always seems way too complicated to try to make it. I never seem to have all the specialty ingredients or the right kitchen tools. This 2-ingredient flatbread is the perfect fix! I'm texting everyone in quarantine pictures of my beautiful stack of roti, lol :-) Your video instructions were very clear, and this was super simple to make. I liked & subscribed, and I look forward to trying some of your other recipes. Again, thank you!
I saw this video of yours a long time ago and have been making your roti's ever since! Just wanted to say thank you again. You are a lovely lady. Thanks for sharing with us.
So easy! This has become a family favorite. The only variation, I mix in just a little Miyokos vegan butter and a little salt into the sweet potato when I mash them. Thank you for such a wonderful recipe.
I made these tonight. I watched this video a few weeks ago..finally got around to it. They turned out good for my first try. Next time, even better. Btw..such a pretty lady and gracious too. Thank you!
I used the one by pillsbury. Just roll slightly thicker and use a spatula to move from cutting board or countertop to pan. Mine all bubbled up, toasted beautifully and they are super soft and flexible.
Hi. I tried this today.... It turned out just perfect !! Did exactly as you , and even they all puffed up like a ball. 😍 I made a picture of them lol. Tried to make roti for years never ever puffed up . Now I am so happy you have no idea! Taste great and so soft , not breaking when I fill them and fold them. 1 cooked sweet potato gave me 1 Cup of meshed so I put 1 Cup of all purpose flower. And that’s it Thank you so much !!
I've made a similar flatbread before but your tip to steam and not bake the sweet potato. I have to try again. You just unleveled my flat bread and I think my kids are gonna thank you! Nice technique you have. Thanks for the video.
Love it. I seasoned mines a bit with some blended herbs, such as carapola leaves, garlic, bandanya, and I love pepper so I grind all into a paste and added...it give it a really nice flavor. I'm an island person so I love spicy flavored food...
thank you for this! These yummy flatbreads have become something i make every week now! i make a gluten-free version with brown rice and chick-pea flour and a tiny hint of coconut oil added to the dough!
Thanks for posting answer to my question which was can they be made with an alternative flour without adding baking soda or baking powder. Also good to know coconut oil can be used 👍 😀
Just made up a batch of these. I mucked up and used a bit too much flour, but they came out all right. I'm happy with my first attempt. Thank you for posting this!
I have never cooked very much and often have had poor results. You are so encouraging about only needing some flour and a boiled sweet potato that I took the time to read the comments. One mentioned that this flat bread froze well and even explained just how to do it. OK, boil water. I can do that on a good day. One cup of this and one cup of that means few things to wash. Using your hands and playing in the dough had me smiling, thinking this feels like fun. You showed just what the dough log looks like and just where to cut it to end up with six equal size balls. Now I am thinking, Girl, you got this down! I am rolling out perfect circles because you said do this to the dough first and by this point if you had said stand on one foot that's I would have done. Well, when that thing puffed up like a blow fish, I beat it to death and ran to watch you over again. Sure enough, there it was and one comment called it a pillow. It takes courage to try new things. I had one with butter and cinnamon and later one with maple syrup. Just a drizzle was enough to turn the flat bread into a dessert. You speak english so very well and measure everything and show every little step. Truly, who could ever press a thumbs down on you. I have a request. Would you show a beginner to the kitchen how to make the sweet, creamy, spicy Indian tea. No one measures every little thing like how much water, do you bring it to a boil, how much cream to add and when. Do you use a teapot like the British or make it on a stove? I know salt to taste means somewhere just short of too salty for health and bland when it comes to food. But my tea is all over the place, from the tea is too strong from not enough water, to not enough tea for strength or sure, it is good and sweet but between the Pet cream and sugar, where is the tea taste. Lets just say, show how to make tea like what a restaurant would serve without being stingy with the sugar or cream or spices. I no longer work and often eat alone so knowing how to freeze or store extra food means a lot. I am new to Indian food and have no knowledge of festival foods or holiday treats by name, like is it a bread or a side dish and not a main meal. Also, is it some street food that a cook would not make at home? Think of what a new bride wishes she knew so she could have a proper lunch packed to send to his work sight in those stacking lunch tins and show everyone just how to go about it. No need for a personal reply, just so you know you are helping people that only speak english learn to eat with their hands and spice up their lives threw food. Many thanks
Thank you so much Teenuja for this recipe. A friend shared your recipe (via this video) with me last week and today I made my first batch of 6. They are so easy to make and so, so delicious. I will be making more tomorrow and will share some with my neighbor. I was in Mauritius a few years ago (in Grand Baie) and bought some chapatis with red and green sauce from a street vendor who had a barrow with a wood and glass case. The food was wonderful; freshly made and delicious. All the best to you! Leonard.
I am going to try to make it with buckwheat flour. I had success in making sweet potato gnocchi with buckwheat so I hope it will work for roti too. Thank you for a lovely presentation.
I've never made anything like this before in my life! I'm definitely going to try this! Thank you your presentation is so easy to understand oh, and you are such a lovely lady!
It's amazing for me, because this is my favourite childhood scone, we ussually eat this for supper! And, that's the point I come from Hungary. Thank's to you to share with me this feeling!
O.M.G. these are so very delicious. I just made them and I'm blown away at how very yummy they are. I will include as my "go to" flat bread now. They were like fluffy pillows!
I made these a while back with gluten free flour and i looked it up today as it was a memorable tasty treat. Especially since i can't eat bread. (Most breads).
I watched 2 videos on how to make this bread. Both have the same ingredients. Yours however had the best instructions. Very clear with explanations and reasons as to why you were cooking it this way. Thank you! PS. I just gave thumbs up and subscribed. : )
I have made these a few times now. So delicious and super easy. But, it definitely takes some practice to make them round like you do! Thanks for sharing!
I used one cup of GLUTEN FREE ALL PURPOSE FLOUR and 1/2tsp xanthan gum. They turned out a little tough, but it was my first try and I think I would kneed it a bit less next time. I may have also over floured the work surface which she says can make them a bit tough. They were still delicious.
This has become one of my favorite recipes. I cannot thank you enough for sharing this. My 2 favorite foods in one. Roti and Sweet Potato. I see you're close to a million hits, guess I'm not the only one. :) THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!
Omgoodness! I've been searching youtube for a quick homemade bread made with yams and plantains that I can eat with sandwiches and with snacks. This is perfect. There are fry bread recipes but I don't want all that oil. I eat gluten free so I will have to substitute almond or coconut flour with regular flour. When I make this I will repost and let you know how it turned out.:)
+Karen Cas hey :) what flour did you end up using? i want to make soft and lovely wraps GF as well, i have a GF flour mix, potato & rice and tapioca, do you think it would work? i also use psyllium husk
I haven't cooked it yet...:) Ive attempted bread recipes on my own using coconut or almond flour and I haven't been successful, the texture's awful. I'll probably use Pamelas Products bisquit and scone mix or one of her other baking products.
I tried it yesterday for breakfast 🥣 and it was like yours. I regret I can't send you the pictures Thanks for sharing your recipe Greatings from Port-au-Prince, Haiti
Wooza, not vegan but as a family we have continued to include 2/3 days a week plant based meals since crimbo. My wife made these tonight to have with our Saturday night curry and they made it amazing, they will be our go to now when we have a curry I think she’s turned a corner 😆 thank you 👏👏
I made these last night with yams, and I gotta tell you- they were marvelous, soft, and tasty. My husband loves roti, and these were a big hit with him. I will definitely make them again.
I made the sweet potato wraps and they turned out so awesome. It is so easy to do, I probably won't be buying bread anymore! I also got to brainstorming and tried it with ripe bananas that were frozen, after they thawed, I put it together and found because of the water content in the banana, I had to add more flour. However, they turned out just as awesome as the sweet potato ones. My mind is going crazy with the possibilities. LOL
They look delicious, handy to have these especially at the moment with people panic buying bread etc, I will definitely be making these tomorrow Thank you so much for taking the time to create these videos
Thank you so much for this. I've just made a batch and they're fantastic. Going to make my son wraps with these rotis for his school lunch tomorrow. What a great way of getting extra veggies in kids 🙌
Your voice is so gentle and intriguing, direction so simple. I plan to make this today before work @Noon, hopefully. So happy I found you. I am attempting to make healthier eating habits for my entire family, THIS IS IT!! Thank you! I will post my results at a later date =)
As a.mexican American flour tortilla is a staple... This is an amazing alternative.. Thank you so much ❤️ now I hope to fool my dad to eat them as a healthy alturnative.
Hi, I run a 'soup kitchen' on Saturday morning feed the needy in my area and I only have three hours to cook a meal so I was wondering if I can use canned sweat potato in place of steaming fresh just to save time?
Hi John, I think it should be fine to use the canned ones. You just need to heat it up before mixing it in the flour, as the heat helps to keep the texture soft. Hope this helps. :)
If/when I make it, I will send you pictures of how it turned out. I run the kitchen, which means I pick the menus, write the recipes and direct volunteers in the kitchen but I am not the director of the program itself so I never TELL anyone 'this is what we are making'. I usually ask if anyone has a request and if no one does I make a suggestion as to what I would lie to make next. I am thinking your recipe would be great for a sandwich wrap with soup and salad.

Good question!
Binti Bari i
I love it! Im not a vegan person but I chose to eat healthy. I used to make this with boiled squash if sweet potatoes are not available..
I made these today.... delicious! i used pumpkin just because i had some... it worked perfectly. Thank you.
I've made them with whole wheat flour, delicious. They freeze well. Linda

Those fillings sound bomb. Yummy! :D Thank you for your feedback. Have a nice day too. :)
For gluten free; I make them with oat flour, it takes a bit less, potato flour works too. Again, a bit less.
Oat has lots of gluten
Do you have measurements for how much oat flour you use?
Thank you very much. I was looking for gluten free bread.
One word: "yumilicious!"
So I made and had it for lunch today, mine came out soft and chewy. The edges weren't round, more of uneven cracks but turned out delicious.

I like your version of sweet potato flat bread, you gave a lot details in your videos for example "not to over knead the dough to prevent from adding too much flour into the dough and it would turn out to be harder bread". This is important to someone who totally have no idea how to make dough with flour. I did try to make dumplings but the dough turned out to be too hard probably due to over kneading 😩😢
You also mentioned in your video the thickness of the flatbread should be around 2mm, and the duration of cooking each flatbread. I like how you use a towel to keep the bread soft and warm too. I am going to try this for our lunch today together with mango cilantro salsa, and some vegetables. Thanks again for the great recipe.
I agree, her directions are perfect,so very helpful and informative.
AMAZING! I made these tonight with our hummus. Sooooo yummy. I made them with white sweet potatoes and oat flour. Turned out great. Thanks
Is oat flour gluten free?
Did you use Oat flour replacing regular flour on 1:1 ratio ?
Punky J I would like to use oat flour too, but did it really allow kneading now that it lacks gluten?
It has been quite a while that I worked with flour. I followed the recipe and the video to make these delicious flatbreads. I had to make a few repairs as I rolled the dough, but everything turned out great. I was pleasantly surprised with how soft they became by following the instructions on stacking, covering with cloth, and flipping the stack over to preserve the warmth. I will certainly make them again.
Cannot wait to try this! In quarantine in the Philippines- lots of kamote (white sweet potatoes) and lots of time for trying new recipes!
You dont know HOW MUCH I appreciate your videos, its changing my life & health
I'm texting everyone in quarantine pictures of my beautiful stack of roti, lol :-)
Your video instructions were very clear, and this was super simple to make.
Thank you!
I just made these with gluten free flour. Soft and easy to work with. Yummy!!
I used the one by pillsbury. Just roll slightly thicker and use a spatula to move from cutting board or countertop to pan. Mine all bubbled up, toasted beautifully and they are super soft and flexible.
If you use bobs red mill one for one you can roll thinner and they won’t fall apart. Very good.
Can I use chickpea flour instead of a gluten four?
These are great. The instructions are perfect. I had mine with homemade hummus. So good thank you!
I'm an island person so I love spicy flavored food...
actually, the very thing I was looking for!!! My kids love tortillas, and I was searching for a more healthful, but flavorful substitute. Thank you!
thank you for this! These yummy flatbreads have become something i make every week now! i make a gluten-free version with brown rice and chick-pea flour and a tiny hint of coconut oil added to the dough!
Thanks for posting answer to my question which was can they be made with an alternative flour without adding baking soda or baking powder. Also good to know coconut oil can be used 👍 😀
OMG i love this idea! Im mexican and im trying to be healthy and this is perfect for me! specially for tacoos! thank you so much for this idea!
Thank you, I made them for Jewish Passover and have been making them ever sense...your very good at explaining and made it so simple.
awesome passover idea, thanks for the tip!
I made these for lunch and had it with black beans and asparagus. It was delicious!!! It's my first week gluten free and this has helped A LOT
what type of flour did you use?
What flour did u use to make these gluten free?
marianella, what kind of flour did you use for gluten-free roti?
Marianella Lopez -how was it gluten free if you used white flour or did you use a different flour ?
Just made up a batch of these. I mucked up and used a bit too much flour, but they came out all right. I'm happy with my first attempt. Thank you for posting this!
very rare to find dough baking without oils, thankyou
Many thanks
I make these regular now with gluten free flour they are really, really good. Thank you.
which one do you use?
Im so glad you said this! Every recipe.I watch I wonder if it can be adapted for my bowel 😊 thank you xx
Josie Thornton Très bien ! Je vais essayer avec de la farine de riz.
You are a very good teacher !! Thank you for taking the time out to show how to make these.
Best sweet potato wrap recipe on YT.............
I cannot wait to make these. Thank you. I would love the recipe for those stuffed cabbage leaves.
Looks good. I'm going to try this with buckwheat flour as I can't wheat flour...Thanks!
How did it turn out? I am gluten free too.
I made these today. Delicious! I used rye flour instead of white.
i wondered if could be made with other than wheat flour
I made these a while back with gluten free flour and i looked it up today as it was a memorable tasty treat. Especially since i can't eat bread. (Most breads).
Besides the recipe, I really love the way you explain and give the details of the recipe! Thank you!
I watched 2 videos on how to make this bread. Both have the same ingredients. Yours however had the best instructions. Very clear with explanations and reasons as to why you were cooking it this way. Thank you! PS. I just gave thumbs up and subscribed. : )
I made a Sweet Potato, Cauliflower, & mushroom curry tonight, these look perfect to have with the leftovers tomorrow Thank You 👍😎
Thanks
Thank you so much for your support.
I’m wondering if you could replace the all purpose flour with a rice flour
Looks wonderful. i will try. Helpful hint for you... score the potato before you steam it. Makes for an easy peel.
This is amazing. 2 ingredients! No oil, Vegan. I love it!! Thank you so much. Now I can make my own!!!
Can this be done with an alternative flour? Has anyone tried it?
Who thumbs this down?!? It looks delicious! And easy!!
Our family tried this tonight turned out awesome.
I have made these a few times now. So delicious and super easy. But, it definitely takes some practice to make them round like you do! Thanks for sharing!
These are gorgeous, they really hit the spot. I really like the duel use, as sweet and as savoury.
They look sooooo good.I will be making these as well. I can see my black bean burger wrapped in these and topped with my spicy vegan nacho cheese.
OMG that sounds amazing
Simplest way to make roti/flatbread...I will definitely try this recipe
I used one cup of GLUTEN FREE ALL PURPOSE FLOUR and 1/2tsp xanthan gum. They turned out a little tough, but it was my first try and I think I would kneed it a bit less next time. I may have also over floured the work surface which she says can make them a bit tough. They were still delicious.
oh my goodness! the limitless possibilities these can be used for. thank you so much for sharing this amazing flatbread.
I've made these twice and they are really easy and super delicious! Great video, thank you :)
Made these yesterday. They turned out perfect! So easy and tasty!
Bcuz of this easy recipe I will finally try making something in the bread family... thank you for sharing I’m doing this tonite
This has become one of my favorite recipes. I cannot thank you enough for sharing this. My 2 favorite foods in one. Roti and Sweet Potato. I see you're close to a million hits, guess I'm not the only one. :) THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!
Now this one is a winner! Very simple recipe with just 2 ingredients. Who doesn't love that? :-) Will definitely try this!
Will make it. And i loved your closing- dancing at the end as motivation to more of your videos. I cheerd me up!
Karen Cas New subscriber.
Karen Cas Thank you. I hope the flatbreads turned out well for you. Let me know if you like them. :)
I'll probably use Pamelas Products bisquit and scone mix or one of her other baking products.
buckwheat is gluten free. Maybe that would be a good substitute
I tried it yesterday for breakfast 🥣 and it was like yours.
I regret I can't send you the pictures
Thanks for sharing your recipe
Greatings from Port-au-Prince, Haiti
I love the way you say potato.
haha lol
LOL
Instead of rolling it into a circle keep it a cylindrical shape and cut small pieces, boil them and you have sweet potato gnocchi! 😊
ij milivojević good thinking😊
thank you very much 😀 Sarah Wells
They look delicious, handy to have these especially at the moment with people panic buying bread etc, I will definitely be making these tomorrow
Thank you so much for taking the time to create these videos
Thank you so much for this. I've just made a batch and they're fantastic. Going to make my son wraps with these rotis for his school lunch tomorrow. What a great way of getting extra veggies in kids 🙌
Your voice is so gentle and intriguing, direction so simple. I plan to make this today before work @Noon, hopefully. So happy I found you. I am attempting to make healthier eating habits for my entire family, THIS IS IT!! Thank you! I will post my results at a later date =)
Wow this is amazing. I’m gonna mix it with quinoa flour instead of wheat. Thanks for this idea.
I would use another flour too....anything but wheat. Maybe almond?
I was just thinking the same thing. I’m not sure how it will turn out. Did you try it?
How did it come out?
Bless you John! I hope it works out for you!
+Deborah Lake - That sounds so good! I'm not a huge fan of sweet potato, but I love pumpkin. Thanks for the idea!
John
Omg. I just made one. Wish I could show the picture. It swell up. Its soft. I can't believe I did that. Wow. Thanks alot for the upload.
