Hi Everyone! I'm hearing that the link to my community post that I mentioned is not working, so here is what I said: Hi Friends. I will be away from TH-cam a little longer to be with family. We were anticipating the birth of our granddaughter, Lily Faith, but she developed serious complications that we had hoped could be treated at Texas Children's Hospital, but at 20 weeks she went home to heaven, which we trust is God's Will. Lauren and Kyle will be with us here in Texas to heal and recover before heading home to NC for a couple of weeks and I am so grateful for the time we have together and want to focus on family at this time. Thank you for your prayers and I'll be back very soon! 💗Robin
Oh I’m so sorry to hear this very sad news. Hoping that your son and daughter in law are coping and getting comfort from each other, this is a very difficult time for them and of course, for all of you. My thoughts and prayers are with all. 😔
@@FaithandFlourJesus is with you, inside you, around you. God works in mysterious ways but don't doubt that He is with you and with your marvellous family, including little baby of course!. ❤❤❤❤❤
Robin, my heart aches for the loss you have suffered. Faith and prayers will help soften your sorrow. You and your family will be remembered in mine! ❤
I'm a 41 year old homemaker, and you truly inspire me to be better at my job here in my home. May God bless you for inspiring us to be Godly wives, mothers, and homemakers. You truly take care of everything you've been blessed with.
Thank you Erika! You are doing such important work and I am so happy to encourage you as a fellow homemaker and friend! God bless you and your family! 💗🌸💕
So, so sorry for your loss. Really important you took the time off. Family should come first! I was the same way when we had our house. I had to move the furniture to see how it looked in the space. 😁Looks like what you all came up with is what is best for them. -Michelle
So good to see you back Robin. I’ve no doubt your family’s faith was of great comfort during your recent loss and grief. Jesus said, “I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world” (John 16:33). ♥️🙏
Robin I was so sorry to hear about Kyle and Lauren's little Lily Faith. Though this very real and extremely painful for them and for all of you, I am so thankful she is with our Lord in heaven for whatever reason He has chosen this for her... Your faith is such a testimony to His faithfulness in the midst of very difficult trial! My heart goes out to you and your dear family. May He bring all of you the peace that passes all understand and to continue to comfort your hearts! I will continue to uphold all of you in prayer (John 16:33)
So good to see that you've returned, Robin. You were missed! The way you guys set up the bonus room looks warm and cozy. As you stated, once you add some artwork, it'll be just fine. May God continue to bless you and your family. ❤
Robin, I’m so sorry to hear about your families situation. Prayers for healing. Missed you for the past few weeks. Glad you’re back. Stay faithful and know God has you and your family in his very best plans. I will continue to pray for you and your family.
Glad you're back, will continue to keep your family in prayer as you go through the healing process. Thanks for sharing your room refreshes and the recipe, it looks delicious!
Welcome back Robin. You’ve been missed. It was so touching that your son and his wife came to you for comfort and love as they dealt with their grief. And I was happy to hear that they’re still planning a family-one that needs bunk beds no less 😊. What joy that will bring!
I am just now seeing your post. I am so heartbroken for your family. So thankful to have such a loving God that will see you through your loss. May God continue to wrap His loving arms around all of you during this time of healing. I am going to have to try this recipe-it looks delicious.
Good to see you again, Robin. That grey rug would look great in my living room lol Glad you're back with another encouraging and motivating video. God bless you and your family. 💕
I’m so sorry for your loss. I know the pain personally and trusting in God’s plan brought me two health happy boys who are grownups now. As for a rug by your door I would suggest a synthetic in the style of the two lovely rugs you have in the room. Inexpensive but in keeping with the room and will withstand the wear and tear of a doorway. 😊
Thank you Jean! I'm sorry that happened to you, and we appreciate your encouragement so much - God is so good! I'm on the look out for that rug! 👍😉 Have a blessed week!💗🌸💗
Hi Robin, You and your family have been on my mind and in my prayers. I enjoyed today’s video very much! You looked beautiful in your cream and green and your hair is very pretty. I’ll look forward to trying your recipe. It looked delicious! I recently bought your cordless vac from your Amazon store. What a game changer! I had been using a corded Shark vac and was increasingly frustrated with plugging/unplugging and trying to not trip on the cord. Battery powered has made all the difference. Thank you for recommending. Take care and blessings from central Mississippi. Love, Beth 🌿
Very sorry to hear of your loss, but it’s good to hear that you could spend time together supporting each other as a family. It’s lovely to have you back! Thank you for the enchilada recipe - I will have to tweak it slightly to suit my children’s allergies (something I know you know all about) but I love Mexican food so can’t wait to try it. How are your crochet projects going? Five months after my little boy was born I have finally managed to pick it back up again and am making a temperature blanket. I get so tempted by all the lovely projects I see, I need to remind myself of what is achievable in this season of my life!
Thank you! I hope this recipe will adapt well for you and your family - I bet you are a pro at that! 👍😉 I just finished a scarf for myself, which I'm looking forward to wearing once the weather gets cool again (it will be a while! 😅) and I'm currently working on a light summer scarf for my mother-in-law. I am enjoying this pattern, but I'm with you - all of the projects I see tempt me, so I'm trying hard to stay focused on one thing at a time. 😂. Tell me more about your blanket. I haven't heard of a temperature blanket and I very curious! 💗🌸💗
@@FaithandFlour A temperature blanket is a blanket where you pick a series of colours (either different tones of one or two colours, or a whole rainbow. I chose the second) You assign each shade to a temperature range. Then the idea is to crochet a row for the temperature each day, usually for a year, using the correct shade for that day’s temperature. I am using linen/ moss stitch (can’t remember what the US term is sorry!) At the end I hope I end up with a blanket for a single bed, recording each day’s temperature for my sons first year. A blanket made in Texas would probably look a little different to my Welsh one!
So good to see you & your family. This video was really enjoying to watch. The hanger is (Wow) ❤ The bedroom is so lovely in periwinkle. Love the bonus room. It would be cool to have the desk turned away from the wall, giving Patrick a better view facing the center of the room 😊
We used to move often, and one time I actually measured the furniture and cut out paper furniture to scale and moved that all around on the graph paper and it made coming up with the furniture lay out much easier. We helped my son move last weekend and he did the same thing on graph paper, and it was fun to try out different configurations without hurting our backs!
Love the garage😊. You can split your backroom up in twos parts to make two different sitting areas and add a huge electric fireplace and customize the built in piece around it or you can purchase a huge sectional and book shelves and still add a huge fireplace😊. There’s a channel call DIY wife she had the same dilemma in her home🌸😊💝(home makeover 3yr renovations on TH-cam you will see the room featured there💝..Be blessed
Always love your homemaking videos. Arranging furniture and making a room feel cohesive can be tough especially in a bonus room with multipurpose. Maybe try one very large rug to pull the room together or matching rugs. I look forward to your next video.
Hi, Robin! I love periwinkle, too! It was color of my bridesmaids dresses and the hydrangeas in our wedding. I’ve been trying to decide which room in the house will be painted periwinkle.😁
So glad to see you again via video. Austin ALSO helped with all the furniture re-arranging, I noticed! Love the freezer prep and enchilada recipe. Can't wait to try this!
Great recipe and updates. My favorite colors are dark blue and dark brown. I got three unfinished five-drawer chests. I painted the one I was able to bring inside Ecos chalk paint in film noir. The other two are still on their boxes and on the porch. I prefer silk sheets. They are gentler and don't dry out my hair. I use a cotton quilt. I plan to get two wool comforters. A Summer weight one and a Winter weight one. Then I can use the silk duvet. I will wait until I get a twin size bed. That won't be until I get a place for the three of us. My part-time job still hasn't started. I seem to be permanently stuck in the middle of the hiring process. Having trouble getting back the job I had before I quit to take care of Daniel full-time after his cleft lip surgery and had a blocked tear duct removed at 6 months old. He turned 16 during Memorial weekend. Two days ago I applied to be a recreation aide at an elderly group home. I can walk or bike to that place.
Thank you Jean! It is so good to hear from you and I am continuing to pray for the right job opportunity. I know that God has something planned that will be the perfect fit for you and and your family in His timing. God bless you and your sweet family!💗🌸💕
Oh Robin. Im so deeply sorry for this unimaginable loss. Praying that Gods peace that passes all understanding brings you and your family comfort. ❤ Sending you tight hugs from California. Kim
Hi Robin! It’s so nice to see you back! I continue praying for Lauren and Kyle, and for all your family, knowing that God is there, holding you up and healing your grieving hearts! 🙏 I like the idea of “cooking once and eating twice”, and I loved the recipe you showed us! As for the room you showed at the end of the video, it seems to be a difficult room for furniture arrangement as you have many doors and windows. My only suggestion would be for the carpet in front of the outside door: could you put a half-circle little carpet, in neutral colours? I liked your idea of a reading nook, but the bookcase, on the other side of the door, looked kind of lonely to me! Would it be possible for you to include the bookcase into the reading nook arrangement? Since this will be a family room, I think that having a reading nook is a good idea. This way, all of you could be in the same room, doing something different while being together! I also love that you put the sofa away from the wall! I hope you will find a solution that pleases you and your family! Have a great week! God bless you! 💕💕😍😍🌷🌷
Good to see you back, Robin. I enjoyed this video and thought the furniture arrangement you all settled upon looked like a good use of the space. I liked the idea of a little reading nook, too. I wish you and your family a peaceful and blessed week. God bless you. ❤
So sorry to hear of your family’s loss…I know your faith has helped you during this time. Love the highlights in your hair, also can you link the cute rust colored dress?
I actually like the arrangement that y’all came up with for the most part. The biggest issue IMO is the size of that coffee table in comparison to the loveseat/couch (I couldn’t tell). And I didn’t care for the rectangle rug in front of the reading nook. Otherwise I think y’all did really well. I also liked the idea of layering the rugs but read where you said your men didn’t agree, lol. 😊
Thank you Michele! I agree on the table and rug. 👍😂 We’ll just go with it for a while and make do with what we have. The guys seem to really like it. 😄
Oh boy, a Robin video today. Loved your cooking in the beginning. I may try that. I have just reclaimed my kitchen. The girls have done a good job over the last year that they’ve had to pinch hit for me but I’m starting to get back in the swing of things. I clean my pantry from top to bottom and then restocked items that I used to Keep regularly in there. Also I cleaned my oven and restock the freezer which entailed dividing me up and labeling. I’m trying to be back on zone cleaning but not stressing if I don’t get it all done this go round. My plants are doing amazing with all this rain we’ve had. Too bad they also bring a lot of mosquitoes. I went to the cardiologist this week and he said the congestive heart failure was doing worse and he made some changes in medicine and I’ll go back in four weeks. Also another doctor determined my kidneys only working 30%. I will have some test done including a renal ultrasound. I’m seriously thinking about firing all these doctors because I’m feeling good and I don’t like all these reports. I have consistently prayed for Kyle and Lauren And the whole family. I just know there will be blessings to come before too long. Love in Christ
Hi Donna!!! I'm always so happy to hear from you - and especially that you are feeling so well. I'm concerned about the doctor reports - but very glad that it isn't lining up with how you are feeling. I am still praying for you and I'm so encouraged to know that you are able to return to the things that bring you joy! We too are enjoying all of the greenery that come from the rain this Spring, but the higher humidity and mosquitos having me hoping for a return of the dry heat that's more typical for our part of Texas.😂. I guess we can't have it all! Your sweet encouragement and prayers have been a huge blessing to our family. I can't thank you enough my friend and sister in Christ! God bless you and your family!💗🌸💕
Hello Robin, so happy to see you back. I’m so sorry for all you have been through, sending love. 🌿❤️🙏 I enjoyed your recipe, I am assuming that Rotel is tomatoes, peppers and onions ? We don’t have it in the UK. Am trying to find something similar. What a plus to have a bonus room, I like the idea of a reading nook, maybe some plants would help soften the areas. Anyhow it’s lovely to see you back 🌿
So happy that you are back, Robin! You have definitely been missed! The chicken enchiladas look delicious, and I've been looking for new recipes. THANK YOU!
Robin so very sorry for your family's loss. Know that you were missed by your TH-cam family but support you. Because of the layout of the room and furnishings being used i think you are correct in multiple areas. You may someday want to add a small table and chairs or just a table you can use with existing chairs for games or puzzles.
I like the sheet color. It is calming. I hope you find an arrangement for the extra room that is pleasing to all. Glad to hear from you. I miss the weeks you don't film.😊
Dear Robin, Patrick and Family, I was saddened to hear of the loss of your granddaughter, Lily Faith. Praying that Lauren and Kyle will heal and recover from their loss. 🙏 Be well.❤️
My heart and prayers have been with you and your family….asking the Lord to ease the heartbreak of your loss…..it’s good to see you back again…..the hanger floor looks amazing….thanks for sharing….
So happy to have a Faith & Flour video today and that you were able to have the family time you needed. I missed you, Robin! Since you asked, how about a lamp on the little table in the reading nook area and a faux tree in the corner beside the chair that is near the wall in the nook? A few decorative pillows and a comfy throw on the sofa are a nice way to cozy up a space.
Love to see you back Robin. May our Lord continue to uphold and bless everyone in your family. Amazed at the huge garage and the new flooring. Couple of questions here. Do you use heavy aluminum sheets for wrapping the enchiladas? And, could you please give instructions on reheating them when frozen? Thanks.
Thank you Helen! I like to use non-stick foil, especially when cheese is involved. 😉 I think it works best to thaw them completely in the refrigerator. I usually take them out a day or two before I plan to serve them. Once thawed, I bake them the same way - 375 degrees F for 20-30 minutes. Have a blessed week! 💗🌸💗
Lovely to see you Robin the bedding is a lovely colour it was fascinating watching the garage floor being done . Yes most people can relate to moving furniture about till you feel happy with it. 🌹🐈Xxxx
So glad to see you back, Robin, and so happy that you got to spend some time with Lauren and Kyle. I’m sure it was a blessing to share time with them. I am putting your enchilada recipe on the menu this week as it looks quite tasty and easy. So interesting to see the progress in your “hangar” and especially the process used on the floor. I really like the striped t-shirt dress you wore and wondering if you would tell me where you got it? It’s just my style!
Thank you Alice! I hope you and your family will enjoy the enchiladas too! I found that dress at Costco while shopping with Lauren. She got one in green. ☺ I don't have a link for you, but with luck, you might find it at your local Costco. Have a great week and God bless!💗🌸💕
Welcome back Robin. You and your family have been in my thoughts and prayers. I like the bonus room arrangement! The enchiladas look delicious - we like corn tortillas too. I buy the big stack (I think it's 80!) and divide them up 6 per each sandwich bag and keep them in the freezer. Usually lasts us close to a year but they freeze beautifully. We use them for enchiladas and tacos 🌮 Have a great week!
Thank you so much Kris! I freeze ours too - but I like the idea of portioning them first. I'm definitely going to do that next time! Have a great start to your week and God bless!💗🌸💕
I love the look of the periwinkle sheets with your dark furniture. It looks awesome. Guess what’s for dinner tonight? Robin’s chicken enchiladas! Thank you for the recipe and the Brooklinen discount. Continuing to pray for you and your family🙏💐

Sending hugs and prayers to all of you. Love your channel and your family.
Thank you so much Georgette! God bless you! 💗🌸💕

Sending you caring thoughts and love during this time. May your family find a peaceful path to healing. Lily Faith’s soul touched all of us. ❤❤❤❤
Thank you so much! That means a lot! 💗🌸💕
Hi Robin! It’s so nice to see you back! I continue praying for Lauren and Kyle, and for all your family, knowing that God is there, holding you up and healing your grieving hearts! 🙏
I like the idea of “cooking once and eating twice”, and I loved the recipe you showed us!
Thank you Monique! You always know just what to say and your prayers are so meaningful to us! God bless you and your family!💗🌸💕
Good to see you back, Robin. I enjoyed this video and thought the furniture arrangement you all settled upon looked like a good use of the space. I liked the idea of a little reading nook, too.
I wish you and your family a peaceful and blessed week. God bless you. ❤
Thank you Yvonne! Have a wonderful start to your week and God bless you! 💗🌸💕
So good to see you back and sorry to hear of your family's news. Many blessings from N. Zealand ❤
Thank you! Have a blessed week! 💗🌸💕
So sorry to hear of your family’s loss…I know your faith has helped you during this time. Love the highlights in your hair, also can you link the cute rust colored dress?
Thank you Susan! It really has! 🙏
Here is the link to my dress: amzn.to/4ee3mK9
Have a blessed week! 💗🌸💗
Thank you!
Glad you are back best to you & family. Everything looks wonderful, I was wondering do you micro the corn tortillas before adding filling❤?
I actually like the arrangement that y’all came up with for the most part. The biggest issue IMO is the size of that coffee table in comparison to the loveseat/couch (I couldn’t tell). And I didn’t care for the rectangle rug in front of the reading nook. Otherwise I think y’all did really well. I also liked the idea of layering the rugs but read where you said your men didn’t agree, lol. 😊
Thank you Michele! I agree on the table and rug. 👍😂 We’ll just go with it for a while and make do with what we have. The guys seem to really like it. 😄
I was so happy to see you today!!! We all missed you !!! Those enchiladas looked so delicious !! Thank you for the recipe!!!
Thank you so much Diane! Bon Appétit and God bless! 💗🌸💕
I’m so sorry for your loss. Praying for peace for you and your family. 😢
Thank you! We appreciate your prayers so much! 💗🌸💕
I enjoyed your recipe, I am assuming that Rotel is tomatoes, peppers and onions ?
We don’t have it in the UK. Am trying to find something similar.
What a plus to have a bonus room, I like the idea of a reading nook, maybe some plants would help soften the areas.
Anyhow it’s lovely to see you back 🌿
Thank you so much Sue!
Yes - Rotel is diced tomatoes with chilies.👍
Have a blessed week! 💗🌸💕
I missed you so much Robin!!!! Love from Ania from Poland! Praying!!!

Thank you Jessie! We appreciate your prayers more than I can say. A blessed week to you as well! 💗🌸💕
Robin so very sorry for your family's loss. Know that you were missed by your TH-cam family but support you. Because of the layout of the room and furnishings being used i think you are correct in multiple areas. You may someday want to add a small table and chairs or just a table you can use with existing chairs for games or puzzles.
Thank you! I like your ideas and will definitely keep that in mind - perfect for what we have envisioned for this space! Have a blessed week!💗🌸💕
Robin, it's so good to have you back!! You were missed.
Thank you Deborah and God bless! 💗🌸💕
It is actually pronounced siete as in si-ye-te which means 7. Thanks for the recipe... I will try it tonight.
Thank you Angelie! 👍☺ Hope your family loves it too!💗🌸💕
I like the sheet color. It is calming. I hope you find an arrangement for the extra room that is pleasing to all. Glad to hear from you. I miss the weeks you don't film.😊
Thank you Cynthia! God bless you and your family!💗🌸💕
The room looks nice!
Thank you for the idea of adding cream cheese to the enchiladas feeling, want to try that.
Thank you Margrit! I hope you’ll give it a try! 💗🌸💕

Blessings to your family!
The sheet color you picked out was really nice.
Thank you so much and God bless you! 💗🌸💕
Thank you Patricia! Those are great ideas! It could definitely use those cozy touches! I hope that you enjoy a great start to your week! God bless!💗🌸💕
@@FaithandFlour Thank you so much for the tips❤️

Thank you Rosa! Have a great start to your week and God bless!💗🌸💕
Hi Alice! I just found the link to my dress: www.costco.com/chaps-ladies'-crewneck-knit-dress.product.4000215307.html
Hope this helps!
Thanks, I’ll check it out!❤
Welcome back, Robin. You and your family continue to be in my prayers 🙏🏾
Thank you so much Elaine! I can't tell you how much that means to us! God bless you and your family!💗🌸💕
Hi Robin. Not sure you saw my response to your posting...I thought of this as I read it. 2 Corinthians 1:4.
Thank you Mia! I hope you and you family enjoy the enchiladas and we appreciate your prayers so very much! God bless! 💗🌸💕
What kind of ferns in the front yard? Thank you
Hi Debra! Those are called foxtail ferns. 😊
Good afternoon, Mrs. Robin!!! I'm SO HAPPY to see your video!!! Your online presence is so very comforting, informative, and delightful. I've been following your channel since 2019 and joyfully look forward to each post. I often play older videos in the background to keep me company as I care for my home. It's like catching up with a dear friend... THANK YOU for sharing all that you do. I am continuing to pray for the LORD's favor, comfort, and grace over your family. Take care and GOD bless you all!!!
Thank you Christin! Your thoughtfulness and kindness have really blessed me and I appreciate you more than I could ever say! God bless you and your family!💗🌸💕
