What a nice video. You never need to apologize for precious baby sounds. They are priceless.I understand people's privacy preferences but when channels are geared towards homemaking and family it's disappointing to rarely even see glimpses of the children who so much time and energy is invested in ~ whether cooking, cleaning, schooling, playing or just mingling and interacting with them. Soooo, it was nice being allowed to at least hear your baby. He sounds adorable. The foods you make look incredibly refreshing. Your family is blessed.
I would be the same if I did videos. We need to protect our children as best we can from the criticism, and hateful comments that come a vloggers way. Why subject the babies and kids to all of the drama.
Children are so precious we all appreciate you allowing us to see and hear your children and watch them grow. As the years past and old age creeps up on us, certain sounds like children and seeing them will lift our minds and the memories of the days gone by. So thank you for being so generous and thoughtful to the great grandparents and grandparents out there for those little children.
Laura, you’re such a good cook. I can’t believe the amount of meals you make. Your kids and husband are very lucky to have a wife and momma who cooks such delicious meals for them. Thank you for all the meal ideas. They all look amazing.
Being that i really don't like to be hot and I'm a Fall season lover, the one thing i do love about summer I'd the fresh fruits & veggies! We've been cutting up watermelons the past couple weeks, they've been so sweet & juicy🍉 I don't care much for watermelons it of season, they're too mushy or mealy & just not good!😖 Yes girl, chickens love watermelon rhines don't they?? When we had our chickens, the one in the coops were being raised for livestock auction sales, but our yard chickens, our pets lol, we always gave them the rhines and they would literally fight over them😄 I always love watching all the different recipes you make, they all look delicious. And never apologize for those sweet little baby sounds, i think they're precious, nothing like them😊 TFS!
I just found your channel and I subscribed five minutes into your video! Your channel is a breath of fresh air on TH-cam and what a lovely family you have. Thank you for sharing. As a mama I find you very inspiring ❤❤❤❤❤
Such a fun idea for a video! My boys are young adults now, so I don’t pack for us to go places together. I DO however pack for one son for lunch to take to work; and another for supper to take to school. These ideas are still relevant and will give them some much needed change up. Thank you!
So many good packable recipes. I will be sure to try a few. I hope you are well rested after bringing little Louis into the world. He is gorgeous. Best wishes ❤
I’d love your sourdough recipe using the bread machine. I searched your oily house site but couldn’t find it. You are truly an inspiration and I really enjoy your videos. Congratulations on your sweet baby!
I was confused by the view of you at a baby’s crib right after you cut up the tomatoes, only to realise it was a herb garden. Hahaha time to get glasses. 😂
Did you ever try to make rice then after it is cooked beat up cream and put maple syrup and cinnamon in it and some vanilla and mix that to your rice then I’ve also done already where I’ve added fruits like grapes and strawberries. It makes it really good.
Never apologize for adorable babies making sounds ❤. Congratulations 🎉 Also, I love Hawaiian rolls. Thanks for including the demonstration. What’s your pb cookie 🍪 recipe, btw?
we make a chicken taco like this. we grill chicken and pineapple and put fresh corn, avacado and red onion(pickled would be good) and salsa with flour tortillas. it is so good!
Hi could you tell us the recipe for the sourdough bread that you made in the bread maker please also the setting of the bread maker thank you so much x
Great delicious video, thank you ☺️. Can you tell where you got the glass containers were you carry the fruit? The ones that have the glass separation in the middle, thank you. God bless you and your family 🌺.
Hi! I have a question: Pleasant Hill Grain is having a sale on organic hard white wheat berries. I’m sending you a photo of its description. It’s a hybrid wheat. Is that ok??
How much oil do you say is necessary for the immersion blender to emulsify a whole egg. I always get a soupy mess. What is the key to getting a thick mayo.
1 cup oil (avocado oil is good), 1 egg, 1-2 tsp. vinegar (I like apple cider, or lemon juice), 1 tsp. Dijon mustard, 1/4 tsp. salt. One thing I found out the hard way is that the eggs need to be fresh. If they are too old, the mayo will not “set up”, and will remain runny. Hope that helps!
How do you have time for your children? I have only two and with regular house work, cooking, homeschool etc..I don’t feel like there’s time for bread making etc...I feel like I am taking time away from my children when I tend to too many things.
Oh I don’t know how you did all this pregnant Laura! I’m halfway through my fourth pregnancy and still so ill. Cooking is hard for me about 50% of the time, on the good days I am batch cooking when I can.
Do you have a recipe for the hawaiian rolls I am just learning how to do Sourdough If you have any pointers, it would be greatly appreciated. I have a instant pot. I have never used it kind of afraid of it. I've had it since 2020. It's brand new still in the box. And this is 2024. What kind of recipe books do you suggest to get for that? And congratulations on the new baby. I love children. I have 12. 5 that are biological and the others we have adopted. I have a 1-year-old and 2 year old currently that we just adopted and we have had them since they were newborns. Picked them up at the hospital when they were 2 days old
You should sell aprons. I hate my aprons, they pull at my neck. It is hard to find good working aprons that are comfortable, have big pockets and are still flattering.
Can you explain why someone should not eat deli meats while pregnant? I have never hear of this and would be curious as to why. Thanks! I enjoy your videos
I would like to know as well because I ate deli meat while pregnant with both my boys and everything was fine, but I still would like to know why we can’t eat or shouldn’t eat deli meat while pregnant
I had to google it too, after I spent most of my pregnancy eating deli meat and medium rare steaks, lol. Something about possibly contracting toxoplasmosis, if I recall correctly. I definitely encourage a google search of your own to make your own decision. I didn’t bother to worry about it and my baby is luckily healthy.

I completely agree. Her whole life is taking care of her kids but it's never shown. Just some cooking.
That's how i feel about Becky at acre homestead
Children are so vulnerable to the negativity that comes with exposure to TH-cam, and have a right to privacy . I totally agree with Laura.
@@mrsginnyidk why but this made me chuckle. So true!!!! 😂

Omg your younger sister is also on TH-cam as well as your sister lisa ? That is so awesome I am subscribed to all 3 of you 🥰

For this 65 yo…. I love hearing the squeaks of new life❤ please do not apologize 😉 ❤
Well I am 73 and I agree.
I love hearing your baby and children. Suffer the little children, and forbid them not....so precious.
Amen! 💕💕👶👶
The correct quote is, ". . . SUFFER the little children . . . ."
The little ones helping their sister with cookie testing is cute!

Is the raw egg in the mayonnaise safe to eat during pregnancy? I was planning to make some but I realised maybe I shouldn’t while I’m pregnant?

Is there a recipe for the Hawaiian rolls?
Just make sure your deli meat reaches 165*otherwise the listeria doesn’t die. Maybe cook it first then add it to your sandwich.

I have the same bread maker. Do you have a simple sourdough recipe for the machine? I don’t have a starter.
Then you can't make sourdough as it requires starter
You can't make sourdough without sourdough starter.

After my husband and I have raised two sons, THEIR APPETITE GETS MUCH MUCH BIGGER. They are now 40 and 28 yrs old.

Listeria
Risk of listeria. You can have deli meat heated though. Kills off the bacteria.
