When it came out i spent 4 hours playing. I gave up. 3 months ago i came back and boom..... platinum trophy. Its amazing what getting in to dark souls did for me. It made me realise that bloodborne is the gratest game of the ps4 exclusives. By far. If i had a ps5 im sure id feel that way about demon souls
I'm a first time player to the souls game, and I spent 45mins trying to beat the wolf barehanded with no avail, because I had no clue what I was supposed to do, and that's where i quitted the game.
This video may have saved the game for me. I wish the game itself is a bit friendlier to new players, not in terms of difficulty, but just a bit more instructions and explanations of things at the beginning.

What makes you different from the other channels is that your walkthroughs explains your recommendations on each next move to make, suggestions on which weapons to use and hints on what to expect in the game. If I want the best teacher to aid me in completing a new game triumphantly then you are the number one go-to. I like your honesty such as when you confess you have thoroughly played the games beforehand on your walkthroughs. I’ve gained complete confidence and trust in what you say which was eye-opening in realizing that other channels may be lacking. Of course other channels each have their pluses and minuses, that being said, you get the gold crown as being the most generous in sharing all your preferred tools to win the game.

Beat Sekiro, and Elden Ring, time for Bloodborne haha. I always play every game on hard mode or the hardest mode also so that helps with these games for sure! I find games too easy on normal difficulty etc . But I have played games for 32+ years 😅😂

I never finished the DLC, I stopped after killing Maria to play Sekiro and decided to go back a week ago. I had to do a double take on the dates of these videos when I looked them up to help me out. Is Bloodborne in the air or something? I noticed other new Bloodborne videos being posted.
I bought bloodborne on psn because of the holiday sales. Maybe thats why there is a bit of resurgence of this game. I finished Sekiro lately, planning to play other FromSoftware play games while waiting for Elden Ring.
Probably because it's in the ps+ collection.

I think the game was just recently made free on PS Now for the PS5. Not sure though; I just recently started using PS Now. Didn't think a game streaming service was worth it until I saw what was listed.
it is free on ps plus, not on ps now. unfortuneately it is just the basic game, not the old hunter edition. and the full game with old hunter is on sale and cheaper than buying the dlc old hunter to the free ps plus basic edition of bloodborne. just fyi... i was thinking about getting it, but I can‘t stand the 30fps at the moment :-/

This brings back fond memories of the 1st time I went through Central Yharnam. It was my 1st soulsborne and I spent days trying to make it through, and I was so sucked into the world I couldn't quit no matter how many times I died. Started my soulsborne journey.

@@MetalNick its so worth it man. After bloodborne I played ds1, 2, and 3, as well as sekiro and I blazed through them all no problem. After you learn how to play Soulsborne games, you can play them all. They're atmosphere and lore are unmatched, as well as how rewarding they feel. Dont give up, skeleton

Saw cleaver is actually only serrated when it’s in it’s smaller closed form FYI!
Yes I was about to post this, it's the saw spear that's serrated in both which is one of my favorite weapons in the game

@@Packmanfan224 go to the headstone at the bottom of the stairs. If you’re going down the stairs it’ll be on your left side then click x on it and it’ll ask you if you wanna go to where you started. I don’t remember the name it’s like 1sr floor or something
Yo man I've been following your walkthroughs for the past couple weeks. I went all the way through Demon's Souls remastered and just finished Sekiro. When these games first came out I really enjoyed them but ended up putting them down because i didnt know what i was doing and they became overwhelmingly difficult. Using your walkthroughs I've been running through all of From Softwares games and having the time of my life. About to dive into Bloodbourne. Just wanted to say thank you for taking the time to put all of these together they are the most comprehensive and easy to follow walkthroughs I've ever found. This is my 3rd time to go through bloodborne. My previous attempts always felt like a chore. I never truly enjoyed the game. Your walkthrough has been a game changer so far my man! I’’CE accomplished what used to take me a couple of weeks in just a few hours. Keep up the great work bro!

@FightinCowboy; I booted this up in memory of a friend who passed. He introduced me to Souls games, essentially, via Bloodborne; however, I never really gave it any effort at the time. I didn't fall in love with Souls games until Elden Ring. Now, I'm hooked. I've been going back through older games; Sekiro, etc, and I decided to give Bloodborne another go. Your walkthrough made it a very enjoyable experience. I also see, now, why he loved the game so much. Thank you sir! 🤘 (finished your walkthrough, and got all trophies)

If you have Insight, I suggest using the Beckoning Bell to get people to help you. I joined a guy, as well as a third, and we killed Cleric Beast in under a minute.

Not sure this is worth playing without a remaster. I had no idea what I was doing though, this guide is pretty insane. Really difficult game, how would I know where to get a saw? Or the parrying? These games have lousy directions. Guess I'll try again.

Have patience. It's way different than the Souls games. I basically needed my friend to co-op to beat the game after about 1/4 in to it. I'm horrible at boss fights until I have homie start the fight with me and can backstrap bosses. Good luck

I remember when this game came out i bought it on day 1. Didnt know "souls like" genre was a thing. The wolf killed me and the next day i went to Best Buy and traded it in. Got $40 for it.
Elden Ring came out and i loved it!!! Now looking back at this video it makes me want to go back and give Bloodbourne a chance.

I have literally rage quit Bloodborne many times because of that executioner. I eventually got used to it and killed him without the visceral attack, as he killed me at the same time.
I just started playing this game for the first time ever on the PS5 because it's free right now and that executioner is such a pain in the ass. I mistakenly got the blunderbuss as well. Wish I got the pistol.

I noticed this is the game of the year edition. I bought this yesterday and just wanted to ask, if I wanted to aim for 100% trophy completion, does this entire video guide cover all trophies or do you do a specific branch for a certain playthough? I only ask because I heard about how you have to create different saves to get everything done in a single playthough and wanted to ask how much of the trophy list does your walkthrough accomplish?

@@IchiGurou Sure! The three biggest issues I have with it is: 1. Dark atmosphere + bad eyesight = confused navigation.
2. The psuedo need to grind for healing items can be a chore. I say psuedo because I'm aware some need to grind more than others, if at all, and I'm one who hates running out of essential items.
3. The more offensive fighting approach as opposed to DS's more defensive fighting approach makes it a little too easy for me after reaching a point in the game; not hyper leveling, mind you. Orphan of Kos is a perfect example: he demands aggression which I'm all to happy to slap around and even risk tanking a hit because either I can slap for health back or scoot back while he's in a tizzy to inject some HP.
Don't get me wrong, it's not a bad game at all, but when I personally compare to the others (minus DS2) I have less fondness of it.

Was thinking a lot and yes,for me it's the video game #1 of all times. So many things to try,to challenge yourself. It was first rpg/souls game that I played ever. It was hard as hell at the beginning.

This maybe late... But there's a quite small mistake here ( The Saw Cleaver is Only Serrated in Default Form , short form... Cuz the serrated Bonus is actually 20% Bonus Damage against Beasts ). The Saw Spear is the weapon that has Serrated in Both Forms... Saw Cleaver only has it on its Normal default form , as the transformed mode of the Saw Cleaver is just a normal pointy Cleaver without the Serrated additions ( The back of the Weapon , while the Serrations you can see them in default form that has the Bonus 20% Serration against Beast type enemies ).
*List of Hidden Damage Bonuses from all Weapons in Bloodborne* :
( *Serrated Weapons give 20% Damage Bonus against certain Beasts* ) :
1- Saw Cleaver - Default State.
2- Threaded Cane - Transformed State ( Serrated Whip Form ).
3- Saw Spear - Both States.
4- Whirligig Saw - Transformed State ( Pizza Shredder ).
5- Beast Cutter - Both States.
6- Church Pick - Both States. ( *Church Pick has both Hidden Bonuses , Serrated & Righteous Bonuses of 20%* ). It's the only Weapon in the Game that has both Hidden Bonuses.
( *Righteous Weapons give 20%/50% Damage Bonus against certain types of Enemies mainly Cainhurst Castle enemies* )
1- Church Pick - Both States ( *Has Serrated Bonus of 20% , and Righteous Bonus of 20% in Both States* ).
2- Holy Moonlight Sword - Both States ( *Holy Moonlight has a 50% Bonus to Righteous not 20% , also in both modes* ).
3- Kirkhammer - Only Short Sword Mode 50% Bonus Righteous.
4- Ludwig's Holy Blade - Both States 50% Bonus Righteous Damage.
5- Logarious Wheel - Both States given a Righteous Bonus of 30%.
6- Threaded Cane - Default Cane Mode 20% Bonus Righteous Damage.
*There's also another 2 Hidden Bonuses within just 2 Weapons in the Game* , the Blade of Mercy and the Burial Blade... Those 2 Weapons are made out of Siderite which is a Meteor type Metal ( Bonus Damage is given when you perform Side-step Attacks , Back-Dash attacks and Rolling Dodge attacks with a Que sound from these weapon's R1 attacks.... This indicates you will deal more damage with these 2 Specific Weapons , even the Lost and Uncanny versions have it... Altho the Bonus might not be alot i'd say maybe 15%-20% at Max. Also works in Both Modes. And these 2 weapons also have Arcane Bonus damage to them , so Arcane Scaling does also Buffs it's Secondary Bonus Damage after the Skill Scaling which is it's Physical Attack Ratio.... Enjoy 🔥

Martyr? 🤔 and the DLC bosses are always harder in these games. So buckle up. Lol. Ludwig is hard and Laurence is brutal. Lady Maria isn’t bad if you know how to parry and the failures are easy. Mixed reviews on orphan of kos. I found him easy but that’s because I used a gunslinger build so counters and ranged fighting was easier.

I watched your original play through, and it drove me nuts when you wouldn’t wait for enemies to go through their death animation to get any item they would drop. This is the single most useful video for the ultimate beginner. I got this game a few months back and it is my first souls game. It was too unforgiving and I lost hope and gave up. I came across your video and gave the game another try and now I’ve gotten through the cleric beast which is a great achievement for me considering how much of a beginner I am. Thank you so much!
This is the worse video for a beginners ngl first off the saw clever is not the best weapons for beginners the hunter axe is also why is he trying to parry regular enemies he also doesn’t explain that you need to use r1 after staggering an enemy to parry he just does it without explaining he doesn’t even mention the rally system till halfway to the end and doesn’t explain it if you are he doesn’t explain how the enemy types and how they attack he just goes in and starts fighting this is by far the worse video if you are a beginner this guy will make the game 100x harder for you lol I’ll give him a pass because this is 2 years old but if you are completely new to souls game and bloodborne this is not a good video for you

I started playing bloodboure 2 months ago and stopped because of cental yhamgotoam(best spelling known to man kind)like I didn't know how to get pass the horde☠️ I then got demons souls and had a more better time there
I'm proud to say that as a noob, I killed the first boss on my first try with my first playthrough... sadly, I wasn't so lucky the 2nd time...
