My instructor told you have to do Asanas before halasana.. today I wanted to make sure which asanas I should do .. I came across this video . Very clear instructions.. it is best method by explaining the prepartory pose on Halasana - I did Halasana easily at age of 55 - now at 61 not able to touch the toe to ground - week a day missing the asana - backborn became stiff slightly - try the above - my favourite asana - sure I will achieve it in short time - Pachimothasana too - but able to do easily Chakrasana, sarvangasana etc. at 61

If i do alternate days in a week, how long does it take to touch the ground? Sadly once i mastered and i played in this posture. Many years back. Today i would have to ask this question
Srinidhi, everyone's body and journey is different. So it's difficult to comment on that :). But with regular practice I have seem the most amazing transformation in a lot of people. So give yourself a few weeks. Enjoy the journey!
Depends on age - daily practice is must - otherwise back will be stiff -to go slow- for flexbility -take fruits more less other food few days and check - reduce toxins & try

Hi Miley, Halasana does help in reducing stomach but if you are focused on burning fat, I would suggest a a longer dynamic practice of vinyasa yoga or power yoga. I do have some of these on the channel.
Ma'am I have one more question. From past few days Iam noticing pain in Achilles tendon in my left leg only when I try to do uthita thrikonasana. Doing this exercise has helped me burn fat in my inner thighs. Please tell me how to heal this pain.
Hi Harsha ! Not really. Hope you did all the warmup poses and also did the last counter pose ( matsyasana) after halasana ? That ensures you do not get a neck pain.
