Crow pose | How to do Crow Pose | Kakasana in 3 simple steps | Yoga Arm Balance | Yogbela
Kakasana( also know as Crow Pose) is the Sanskrit name for a Hatha yoga pose in which the practitioner begins by squatting and placing the palms flat on the ground between the legs and directly under the shoulders, and lifts the entire body weight on palms .
In this tutorial I've shared 3 simple steps to achieve Crow Pose or Kakasana. If followed precisely, any one can achieve the pose.
My advice would be .. not to rush in the pose .. take your time, be at your own pace...sooner or later you'll end up achieving the pose.
At Yogbela, you'll find a new tutorial every Wednesday. The tutorials will be be designed for beginners to advanced level yoga practitioners.
The purpose of coming online is, this way I can spread my knowledge across the globe and people around the world can be benefitted through it.

By putting a pillow on the floor to cushion my face if I fell forward, it was a breakthrough for me because subconsciously I supposed I feared falling on my face. With the pillow there I knew I would not be injured if I fell forward. It was only then that I relaxed and was able to get into the pose.

After practicing this asana for 3 days with the help of this video , I am now able to hold the posture for like 2 - 3seconds. I am positive that after one week I will be able to hold this for like 5 to 10 seconds. Thankyou pretty. It's been great learning yoga from you. I am looking forward to do other asanas too.😊
Update - after practicing this post almost daily for like 15 days and more , i can now hold it for around 20 seconds or a little more.
So everybody keep practicing , it will get easy i assure you. 3rd update - its been more than a month since i have left this comment here first and now i can hold it to 1 min or a little bit more than a min😊✌ i will update again when i will be able to hold it for around 2mins or so, lets see how long it takes😃

Thank you Preeti and YogBela, I have been struggling with this pose last one or two months. Though I have quite strong arms I couldn't do it for a desirable amount of time, but now I have realised that the key is the first instruction; the gaze. Thank you so much, and I am following for more tips and instructions.
