The thought of a spore cloud is kinda cool as a hazardous environment area to force newer players to level up before going into there, but this would only work if they set the game up like the division games. Both series happens during an apocalypse but the last of us just takes place a lot longer into it, so they'd have a chance if they did something similar. I mean if they really wanted to, they could force melee to be a big thing instead of guns since bullets are extremely scarce and it would be more in line with the survivor motif.
that has to be in the coolest things ever to be added to the last of us we need more terrifying infected in the last of us part one digital art book there was a terrifying infected that had two back latched together and there was this other one that was also terrifying and it had some kind sharp dirt and vines for hands and had a creepy face i really hope they added more new types of infected i wanna be scared again i’m used to all of the infected🤯
I can see it having a coop campaign, classic Supply run,survivors and a battle royal. I can see the game having multiple modes, especially since it’s getting its own standalone. To me personally though.. a division styled the last of us would be awesome

I’d be down for a tarkov/br style game. That would be a great way to expand on the supplies from factions 1. Imagine you get a character as a new survivor and you use that character to go into a map to get loot. Each time you come back to your camp you can upgrade that character with perks and gear and weapons but when he dies in the map he’s dead. Would be cool to find survivors and then be able to play as them. I’m so excited for what they could do. ND is still top tier and if they can bring the polish and gameplay levels they brought with part 2 and part 1, I know this game will be a banger
I'm cool with a battle royale mode so long as it isn't the one and only mode in the game. Battle royale is an innovative game mode and fits well with TLOU's game concept of scavenging. What they can do is make a battle royale which centers around say 4 factions fighting for control of San Francisco and strategic places in the game filled with infected through timed events in say about a 30 mins long game. Last group faction of say 10 or 15 people wins by holding out until last spore circle. More like Battlefields's giant modes rather than Fortnite or Apex Legends.
I def don't want no BR. I'm so sick of the genre (I've been playing BRs since the ArmA 2 days in 2013) and the other game modes coexisting alongside BR tend to get shafted hard (i.e. Fortnite Save The World). Would hate to see arena Factions get no support because of a more popular BR mode. Instead of BR, I would prefer an extraction based gamemode akin to Escape From Tarkov, which would fill a similar void that a BR would. An extraction-based gamemode is also far more grounded and appropriate for the TLOU universe, and it will make heavy use of looting mechanics, stealth, infected, human AI, etc.

I love the idea of it getting it's own game and having a Battle Royale in Last of us will maybe be cool but I would like the normal mod that Faction has and it will be cool to have a zombie mode like Call of Duty does
It would be interesting if they would take the next level and let you build ur own faction, get supplies and equipment to eventually build ur own base… bro that would be sick as fk! But prob never gonna happen, but i still hope it’ll happen 1 day
There should be a separate gamemode where you team up with a set amount of people and have to survive constant waves of infection that grow stronger. Like pvz but harder.

Ya I’m sorry for my scepticism but naughty dog piped Joel in the skull by a raging shehulk with a nine iron and we have only been waiting for years for factions yet they will surprise us with other projects like the last of us 1 remake yet we still have nothing for factions not a logo not a trailer nothing we have only been waiting a decade if we don’t get this game in less then a year naughty dog should just scrap it we have waited way too long I’m sorry but when call of duty can put out a muiltiplayer game like every 2 years naughty dog doesn’t stand a fucking chance at this point we can’t be waiting for titles this long it ridiculous

I’d be down for a tarkov/br style game. That would be a great way to expand on the supplies from factions 1.
