I watched Gorillaz with Phil and his family at Coachella in 2010. He was doing Murdoc impressions in between songs. A bizarre experience to say the least.
This made such an impression on me at the time (genuinely no pun intended) - I would have been between 16 and 18 and when I saw my friends on the following Monday we were quoting Phil and just cracking up all over again, he was so funny! I had the great pleasure of running into him many many years later on a film shoot - they say you should never meet your heroes but he was utterly lovely to the core. Brilliant comedian, excellent impersonator. He should be on our screens more!
I. LOVE. THIS. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Phil Is Such a Talented Bloke!! And I Mean When Ever I Hear This I Hear A Very Young Murdoc (Maybe Phase One Murdoc) It’s So Funny, Murdoc Is A Major Comfort Character For Me, All His Podcasts/Funny Moments Make Me Smile And Have Made Me Smile at The Darkest Of Times In My Life If I Ever Met Phil IRL, I Would Literally Have No Words Besides “Thanks For Always Brightening My Day When I Needed It Most” 💚
Surely David Bowie who was worth millions of Pounds £££ he would have had a Large Fridge in which to keep his Sausages, And as his Father was from Yorkshire they would have been Cumberland Sausages. His mother preferred a nice slice of Haslet In the morning as she was from Kent
An underrated actor who should be recognized a bit more. Besides being Murdoc.

This guy would do murdoc in the future
Funny thing is, he is the VA of Murdoc
Backs when comics were anti-establishment- not whores for it.
