    As far as the failed tophat mounts are concerned, if one side is gone, then the other side is soon to follow (and the fronts might not be too far behind). I'd check, repair and reinforce as necessary. I'm using Xida coil-overs and I love them! I don't know if they are available in your neck of the woods, but I recommend them highly. As far as you ground-height situation is concerned, I flat-tow my car to every event, so I avoid the dreaded "How do I get this damned thing on the trailer?!" problem all together. I've been doing that for years and I haven't had a problem (yet).

      yeah on suspension i will always change pairs, so no doubt the otherone is about to go.

    I like meister clubsports dont get the zeta crd if your going to regulary track it as they are too soft for track imo but great on the road.

    We use Gaz - but only because they're the coilover we have to use for the race series - not had one fail after all the abuse on track but have no idea what they'd be like on the road.

      ive had gaz before and loved them. im not too bothered about on the road, ill just deal with it

    I'd get in touch with Flyin' Miata and see if they will sponsor you with FOX coil-overs as I think they would be best. Again the exposure in Europe for them would be a good thing. They do know my name, so Please drop it. Thanks, Chris Zinn

    Fortune auto coilovers with swift springs and then add front lower mount 186mm and rear lower mount 126mm since we are rocking the DOD angle kit

      @@Project380 yes the DOD angle kit drop knuckles make the miata sit too low even with the coilovers maxed out so you have the lower mounts to raise the car up more so you can turn

    Had some BC BR/DS on my NB2 and it's my go to for anything drifting or lowboy shit. Get some DS 12k-10k fronts with some BR 8k-6k rears and possibly swift springs if the budget can afford it. Everything with BC in each series is interchangeable, so if you don't like your spring rates or dampers you can individually order them directly from BC and they often have BOGO's on all parts. It's also insanely easy to switch springs, dampers, and the locking rings make it easy to lower/raise the car. I also currently have DS 12k fronts and BR 5k rears on my Z33 and they're insanely smooth between all driving styles. Only have praise for BC and their customer service 👍

    Im drifting on Tein Street Advance Z's, all the way hard upfront and couple clicks softer on the rear, for my friend they were too soft (he and one other run HSD now), it depends on your preference and driving style too. Cant go wrong with BC's thats for sure, but I heard from even US Miata drivers running BC that they like the rear softer so the car is more predictable and less snappy when transitioning, also its good for more grip in the rear since you'll have plenty power.

    • @Project380
      @Project380  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      ive tried tein in the past and found them too soft myself, im a pretty aggressive drifter, but yes your right about being harder up front and softer in the rear

    So im goig bc's on mine reason beeing they have all the adjustibility and have experiance with them (on a scooby not a 5 mind) and they did everything were firm enough for hard driving at the twist of the dampning knobs and soft enough to not be bone braking on contry roads full of pot holes
    You will have everyone with diffrent oppinions if you got mates with diffrent setups try there cars and see how they feel is always the best bet as suspension is always going to boil down to personal prefrance over outhera oppinions

    Hi, i have a mk2 turbo, but its just a road car, tracked just once or twice a year, so probably no good for you, but got meister r zeta crds. They are very good on the road, but a little too much body roll on track. But they do clubsports for the track. I have a friend who has an integra, be used bc's, said they are too harsh for the road, but again, no good for you lol as yours will be a drift car presumably.. Have to meet up at an event some day, im also in suffolk.. 👍👍
