I am glad I came across this video. I actually just doing lawn mowing services and it has been helpful. I get a call just about everday. I’m am thinking of doing this full time on the weekends. I have a a full time during the week for benefits, this would be to start my own business and have extra cash to have. Also I’m doing this for my son Liam, who will be on this earth in 3 months. I’ve never felt a love like this before. 😊

Hey brother, because I know your situation more than most I would not recommend a commercial push mower at this time for you. I don't think for the price of $2k it is worth it for you right now. I would wait until you are running that thing 5 days a week 7 hours a day until you get a commercial mower. If you need a new mower, I think upgrading to a nice top of the line residential mower for $700 - $800 is the move for you. You will spend about a third less than you would on a commercial and allow you to keep more profits in your pocket to help you grow. I am planning on putting together a pricing sheet for anyone wanting it based off a 21 inch mower and small residential yards. We've had 4 years of mowing hundreds of lawns to come up with the blueprint for it. This can help get you accurate pricing for how much you want to make on your lawns.

@@TheWillKelly I appreciate your effort...but value is perceived. I do 10 times the job you did in this video, there isn't more value to be added without spending more time, which they don't want to pay for. You just have wealthy clientele that is too lazy or unable to do their own yardwork. Good for you. I'm maintaining garden beds, pruning trees, fighting back cane grass, fertilizing orchards, on top of the mowing, weedwhacking, and hedge trimming.
That's why I'm doing less and less of it. I'm grateful for all I've learned, and it's been nice helping people out and giving back to the land, but this isn't sustainable.

My Lawn Service the key factor as I found with my Lawn Service is attitude if you’re a nice person and you let them know that you are and you’re willing to work with him they will even pay more money to keep you. I have gotten so many tips good tips from being on time, listening to the customer and taking the time to go talk to them I’ve had so many customers that I’ve gone because of other companies have ran through there and didn’t take time to say good morning or anything and just be nice to the customer and make them feel important. I’ve gotten so many jobs from other companies that, they just didn’t talk to the people. I know you have to make money and I know time is money but invest the time into talking to your customers will meet the attitude makes a heck of a difference. I hope this helps somebody just really be nice and feel like you care for the people that you’re working for good luck.

I wouldn't pay 1 dollar on pricing matrix because that is something that can be done with a little bit of research if i dont know personally....but there is a abundance of knowledge on the internet and i could resource by asking friends or strangers if needed....my point is did you pay for a pricing spread sheet when you first started off? And the answer is no so why would u ask for someone to pay for something that you didnt pay your self? Just saying if someone is learning or trying yo pickup the landscaping trade then they are most likely on a budget and without doubt they dont have extra money to waste on pricing quotes that are not even smart to use because every property is unique and no two properties are the same nor are landscapers so what you seem fit to charge one person based on what you think you bring to the table and your man hours a hour that u seem fit is definitely not the same as the next guy.....pricing with a beginner should be done with the idea of learn as you go and charge what you think you can do and how much you want to charge.... beginners need to mess up to learn how to fine tune their prices maybe one job they charged too little and after quickly learned that they under priced....you only learn that way not from some strangers pricing..... sorry the more i think of it the more it screams learn on your own.....just dont try to recommend something that you didn't do your self on your learning curve.....beyond that thqnk you for your videos people can learn alot from what your putting out there ....most of it hehe
