Great video. Thank you. When I received mine it didn't have any instructions how to install it, and I wasn't ready to just tear into my brand new Rav . I was ready to send it back . You should get paid by the company to write their instructions.

Question: I’ve seen people say that it works with CarPlay but mine doesn’t seem to be doing that. Any suggestions? It charges my phone but the car doesn’t seem to recognize that the phone is there.

The one on the left side is for CarPlay not the one on the right
With the phone on the charging pad, is there a grip type surface on it? Or is it a slick surface where the phone will slide all around while you’re driving.
The pad in the middle is a grip pad, your phone is not gonna move
When you switch the pad on , is it ons again when you switch the car off and on? Or do you have to manually switch on the charger every time you start the car?

Why do you have to put your car in neutral mode? Can I shift my knob to parking instead?
To get more space, if you follow the video you can do the installation the right way
@@BulletSolano thanks! I cannot pull my key out when in neutral. and so I was afraid of getting electrocuted when working on the interior of my car being in accessory mode with the radio and lights on.

I just got my 2021 RAV4 LE programmed to open all windows when holding down the unlocked button on the remote. I also programmed it to be able to open and close all doors using the key in the drivers door.
I used the caristia OBD tool. There’s a lot of customization available that isn’t available from the car radio.
