I was simply highlighting that the audience could get a false sense of security thinking if they put some cacti in their window then they can leave it unlocked. And if the doors and windows are locked then an intruder is going to need leather gloves to deal with the shattered glass and thus won't be too dissuaded by some cacti. That's not to say plants in the window are bad - they just shouldn't be deceiving their audience when it comes to home security. You get triggered by my comments?

@@healingathome8471 the spring rod wouldn't work for me either. My walls are too far apart. The only other option I could think of would be to place an industrial strength free standing garment hanger in front of the window and hang plants from that. Preferably one that has enough height to reach my 10 foot ceiling. Can you think of anything else?
@@vanessashaw6912 I’m just throwing an idea out there. I have a tv rod that comes out my attic to hold my tv high up towards the ceiling. If there are welders near you, you can design a long metal bar ( or find one somewhere ) going across your room if you wanted with 1 hole in your ceiling. Save the drywall circle piece and pop it back in when you don’t want a planter there anymore. This would be for a lot of plants I would think. This may be too much to do, but I thought I’d just write it anyways. It was what popped in my head when reading y’all’s comments ❤️. Take care.
