Hi primevsprime I love your masterpiece reviews there awesome this one has to be my favorite review cause mp 44 is awesome but it’s not Perfect cause the price is ridiculous the knees are not great there useless excessories that make the figure cost so much and I feel sad that fans that don’t have it will be disappointed with the value cause 4 or 500 bucks is just unbelievably bad
This figure looks very cartoon-accurate! But my only gripe is that it's ridiculously overpriced.
The knees are actually an issue too...if u bend the bottom joint before the top joint it will break clean off. Emgo316 explains this better

Aside from Carly the males are Spike and Sparkplug Witwicky. Essentially the father-son duo that the Autobots save in the three-part debut episodes. And remain their human allies for the rest of the show.

I would like to see an MP-44+ G1 Optimus Prime where his paint scheme is accurate to the '80's G1 Optimus Prime figure. I would also like to see the exact same mold repainted into G1 toy Ultra Magnus (AKA White Optimus Prime), Nemesis Prime and Ghostbusters Optimus Prime.
I think there are some paint kits to do that already available, I think I've seen pics.
And you just KNOW they're gonna repaint the hell out of this toy from now on, same as they did with MP-10. They're already getting started because there's a Nemesis Prime variant of this mold for half the price this one is on BBTS

PrimevsPrime, love your reviews and love the figure! I was wondering if you ever do music over the video again you should put music from the scores of the other transformer movies
There’s some things that need to be change to make this the best figure from the mp line one the price make it 200 or 100 bucks cause 500 is not great you can’t do this takara to raise the price on figures that have problems two fix the knees to make it more stable and three get rid of the trailer cause that’s what makes it so expensive cause it’s useless and with that if they fix those things then prime would be the best it’s still is but there’s some problems that have to be fix
정말 멋있게 잘 나온 것 같습니다. 하지만 역시 가격이... 가격만 안정화된다면 진짜 좋은제품이겠지만..(물론저도 구매했습니다 ㅋㅋ) 오히려 가격을 안정화시켜서 이런 멋진 제품 많은 분들이 접하시고 입문하셨으면 좋았을텐데 라는 아쉬움이 조금 듭니다.
Turns out I ended up getting mp44 over mp10. Looks like this year I'm hoping mp10 will be joining mp44.

To own this masterpiece (and it truly is, making all other Prime's look deeply unsatisfying) you gotta have the touch...you gotta have the power. And when all hell's breaking loose on the pricing side, you gotta be right in the heart of the storm. But I've got the heart. I got the motion to try lol

Then 2024 they took a shrink ray and made Studio 86 Prime.
Can someone help me out please with my MP-44? I managed to transform him into his truck mode, but the gas canisters are not lining up properly. If anyone can give me any advice, that would be greatly appreciated.

Well, unless you buy another one, you can't fix it...Its'a quality issue for this product...Most of the MP-44 have the same problem with yours...Now I miss the "made in China" quanlity

God, I HATE those knees. Like, seriously, Takara? You don't get to choose how knees work. Nature's already decided that for you, so why not use that to your advantage? There really is no excuse for making those knees break if you don't bend them the "correct" way. It's almost as if Takara took out a patent on the word 'knee' and went to town with it. No thank you. It seems like a dumb thing to be completely turned off by a figure because of its knees, but come on. If your own knees were designed in a specific way that you have to ask how to bend them without injuring yourself, wouldn't you complain?
Now if you REALLY want a cartoon-accurate Optimus Prime and don't want to murder your wallet, then just look to Transform Element. They've got an awesome Prime figure that's 3 times less than the price of MP-44 and a transformation that's a lot less overwhelming. It doesn't come with nearly as many accessories, though it is compatible with MP-10's trailer, so there's that. They've got a standard Prime, a Nemesis repaint, and even a Shattered Glass repaint because why not? The second run of the figure comes with a more screen-accurate head, while if you have the first run, you can get the new head separate on some stores for dirt cheap. As far as I'm concerned, it's the REAL MP-44.
Very good looking, but very overcomplicated, and also overpriced.
