Very well maintained machinery shed, well done and the 2850 is stunning, looks so original with no nonsense exhaust of alloy or over done paint or stickers, well done. Slightly surprised with all your dry baling you haven't a belt baler which is outstanding in hay, straw and bales to 1.80 diametre.
Hi Gerry, Great video again. Yes the vintage machinery would be great to have a look at it. 2 items that were part of my youth that I see you have is the trasher and the binder 2 fantastic machines for their time. I still love the sound of the trasher (treasher). Yours looks in fantastic condition no more than I'd expect from Gerry 👏. Hope the weather picks up now for the hay. Some to cut myself too.
Love the 2850 Gerry. I started out carting silage on one of them.......not as good condition mind! Thought I was king of the road! 🤣 Unbelievable lock on it.......drawbar was well polished! 😁
You really maintain the the buildings and machinery, everything is immaculate. I would like to see more on the vintage machines some time. It would also be interesting to hear your thoughts on combine ownership for your type of operation.
Well done gerry hope to get 50 square bails. Croud in Longford that foes them. Your right about square bails being handy. Vintage worth watching. Best of luck with hay, 👍
you just need a bit of dry weather now gerry! wouldn't of thought you would have been saying that a month ago! we will all have this weather all summer now. I think a single rotor rake would make a good addition to your set up, personally I detest haybobs!
Great video Gerry the crops of grass sint great this year for us we haven't cut our silage yet beucase we hav a bad crop for pit in one of our fields that we cut for silage but we will be cutting it soon I'd say
Very optimistic with the current weather 😂 I wish you luck with the hay weather, after the bit of rain we have had now recently once we get a but of warmth grass will be shooting out of the ground, definite yes to the vintage video, Great video 👍
Well Gerry , great video as usual , some amount of rain this last 24hrs , literally hasn't stopped up here with us , lookin faward to seein the new baler at the hay 👍👍👍
Great video Gerry. Some nice looking vintage machines about the place. Dont understand why you are selling the old tractors. It would be interesting to hear the history of the old machines for sure.
And Gerry can I just say thanks for making all these video's for us , u are a busy man already and to edit and put out 2-3 or 4 videos a week is amazing and makes my day when I get a notification , 👍👍👍
Cheers mate, your making me feel guilty about my haybob! She spends most of the year out in some nettles 😂😣😢. I'm gonna have to go check my front pto on my big girl but I'm fairly sure I can do 540... 😕
Having used a hay bob more than once I can understand that some lads don't allow for turning near ditches but I don't understand how a bad pilot can make it difficult for bailer driver??
No that’s it’s bonnet.... had little damage on it and dad was fixing it... we have a spare bonnet and it’s been on it for last few months... suprised no one noticed.... it had lights in the front grill where as it’s original bonnet had them to the sides. Some one usually always notices 😂
Anyone know where I could get side panels for a 2000 110-90

Nice one Gerry 👍🏻. Is that a thresher in the shed with the haybob in it?

Yes it a mill. I’ll do a video on the kit...
Do a vintage vid or even a live stream for 30k special Gerry ? 😎😎
What is your opinion on the shortness of grass this year Gerry
It’s still an issue but I think that all this rain could lead to bumper crops of 2nd cut silage. So in 6 weeks time things could look very differnt
What is the other dietfeeder for
For sale soon. It’s a spare feeder we don’t need
@@gerry6420 can I email you for details?
Wee squar bales are handey
They are, a buck rake is the right job to draw them, we made 450 of them and it makes life easy for drawing if you dont have a flat 8 grab
Loving the videos gerry great work sorry but had to pull you on your title you spelt hay wrong Haha
Dam autocorrect. This is what I get for editing on an iPad 🤣 thanks for the heads up 👍👌
