once you've made a bale it should net the bale automatic you shouldn't need to press the button everytime and keep a bottle of talcum powder for the rubber net roller stops the net from sticking. Great outfit keep it up
Spray a bit of silicone lube spray onto the net sensor arm, will work a treat! Running 440 balers the past 7 years, best Baler to take any grass Also new to your channel, only came across it today, great work 👌
Don’t think I’ve ever seen stuff baled up as fast. There’s no doubt something will eat them bales later in the year. You need to add a wrapper to the collection now..... thanks for another great video.
Great to watch a master tractor/machinery man in action, well done Gerry. Hope your right about the weather coming up, could do with a dry spell in north Midlands as well, a lot of grass still to be saved here.
Hi Gerry, Delighted to see the baler is working well for you and no issues with it. I have to say it's a stunning piece of kit both the tractor and baler it just looks so well in the field and a credit to you. Brilliant quality too from both camera and drone and amazing how you manage such good footage and drive as well, it's much appreciated. Great video, well done.👏
Gerry.we have the same issue with grass falling on ground while netting the bale. If you back up after netting the bale before you drop the bale you will collect the grass into the next bale
Good stuff G. It is hard to beat having your own gear to catch the weather windows. The baler looks like a great purchase. It would be nice to see a video of this years calves to see how they are getting on. Keep up the great work.
Thought it was only my cattle that broke out! Next purchase a wrapper? Have a static McHale McHale great job wrapping in the yard only handle the plastic once👍
Gerry I thought that you were making more sliage for the sliage pit and not in sliage bales but I see that you are doing a good job Gerry don't worry about it if the baler is not making the first bale for you you will make sure it works plus I like your music Gerry
Yes these Bx kverneland swarters are probably the best on the market. Doesn’t matter If your in light or heavy grass, wet or dry. Going up hill or down.... the just work
Wrapper now for the 2850 and you'll be all set, did you get the bale that decided to head for road back? Would be typical for it to roll through a fence
@@gerry6420 I’m about 50 miles north west of New York City. My mother is from carlingford and our family still farms there I have been there a couple of times I love it. Going back when the COVID dies down
farm & countryside photography 150kg of CAN per acre, 2500 gallons of slurry per acre and usually give it about 8 weeks growing.... weather depending. I’m in co. Louth 😊👍
The jd out fit does look tidy mate 👍. I'm liking the drone music, I know it won't be everyone's cup of tea but I'm usually watching the german/Austrian vids that use those song 😂 bit of Euro techno 😆
Great action Gerry, like the music choice also.Wondering if she rolls the first part of the bale tight or does it do what the McHale does and have a soft middle!!?? The McHale doesn't seem to roll the ball until it has formed about the first quarter of it.🤔
Young Farmer Will never worked it out. I know it’ll be lot less now as swamped the gear box round to 540 rpm position on the mower and i can mow now in 540E.
Maybe because they are wise with their money they know when to buy and when not to buy. Also They look after their machinery meticulously, no machines lying out in the weather over winter And in general the whole farm is a credit to them . Even look how neatly they put the tyres on the silage pit it looked like a jigsaw . Probably the tidiest and best run operation ive seen from all these farming youtubers, followed closely by IFarmWeFarm 👌🏻👌🏻
Did you notice the runaway bale? 😂don’t forget to like the video and say hi in the comments ..... all your support is greatly appreciated. Thank you
Start a membership Gerry 👌
Your about the only farmer the only farmer that does everything themselves
That's y he is the best channel by a mile 🔥🔥
Really looks the part Gerry, it’s easy to see your enjoying getting to use it for the first time, Like Christmas morning 🤣.
How is the hedge cutter gettin on Adrian ? 👍
Some outfit ger all you need now is a wrapper for the wee 2850
Good job Gerry.
Polo shirt great fit. Looking well wearing it in co. L/Derry.
Great video good change of music nice to see the baker working well and she makes a great bale
Great stuff. Shows also why shouldn't have kids in fields when workings as bales can go a spin easily! It's about time baby G was driving the drone 😀

Gerry.we have the same issue with grass falling on ground while netting the bale. If you back up after netting the bale before you drop the bale you will collect the grass into the next bale
Declan Donoghue yes I seen that.... the grass was very stemy and dry which would have caused it
Very good video. Love the new baler
Had you many bales on it
Looks well
If its anything like yr farming skills yr master the drome quickly and well... amazing video as always 👏

Very good video gerry enjoying every minute of of it
My father spotted a bale rolling down the field at around 16.38 min into the video. Dunno if you noticed it 😂 big fans of your videos 👍👍👍👍👍👍
I seen it going on a little tour of the field alright 😂😂
Yes Gerry !!! 👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌another great purchase 😎😎😎😎

Some equipment all in great order
Nice one Gerry hard bate the sound of the mower 👌🏻👌🏻😍
Great video,, only discovered your channel recently so watching back on your fottage,, any plans to get a wrapper for the wee deere
Not at the minute. But you never know in the future.... I could do with changing the silage trailer first 😂
Good cutting machine dust it save raking the hay Gerry into taws stay safe 🚜🏴🏴🏴🏴🚜🚜🚜👍👌
i remember the days driving down tiny country lanes with a taarup 307 mower..
That cross conveyer works a dream Gerry!!
Yes these Bx kverneland swarters are probably the best on the market. Doesn’t matter If your in light or heavy grass, wet or dry. Going up hill or down.... the just work
gerry6420 looks like the new drone is going well too.
Wrapper now for the 2850 and you'll be all set, did you get the bale that decided to head for road back? Would be typical for it to roll through a fence
A mighty 3 acre field, although maybe that’s just the drone playing mind games with my eyes
How do u wrap the bales in all the baling videos I never see the wrapper
Yes a contractor does wrapping. Most time I’m not there when wrapping is going on.
Great video, great machinery and a tidy job done young man!
great video keep up the good work
Almost at 30 thousand subscribers 🤩🤩🥳🥳
great vid ,could you show the control box next time you bale
some nice looking bales there gerry, drone footage looks amazing as well
do legumes not do very well where you are located? those fields look like they would be great as clover or alfalfa mixes.
Did ya see the bale rolling down the hill..Great Video. Cheers
Fierce tidy setup
Great video look nice bale's 👍
Are you going to wrap the bal
Going though 20ft rows like no tomorrow
Light enough but still flying it and munching it up well
Killian Murphy I was always a mchale man myself but that baler impressed me
Well may she wear Gerry, nothing quite like the feeling of adding a lovely new piece of kit to the fleet 👍👍 😆
Hey. Ever considered front mounted mower?
Great video Gerry
How did you put the electric box on the side of the 69 with a metal plate. We have a straw chopper and are wondering how to
Do you have a wrapper
Makes a good bale Gerry. Are you borrowing a wrapper, or got someone coming in to do them? A great purchase.
Robert Higgins I’ll get a neighbor to do my wrapping
Baler looks wee on the 6930 maybe she'd suit better of the 64?
Youd pack a better bale with 160hp on a baler rather than 100/110hp
Good video Gerry 👍 new baler seems be workin a treat nice even well packed bales 💪 how many did u get of what looked like a BIG 3 acres 😂👍
Hi Gerry, looks to be plenty of net on the bales, how many layers are you putting on?
Looking good 👍🏻. Be interesting to see how that bailer does long term. The draw bar looks a bit feeble to me.....
Hello from New York great video. Where do you farm in Ireland?
Hi. thank you. I’m based 60 miles north of Dublin. in Dundalk, County louth. what about you. where in New York are you.

Sorry they are in Rathcor
Long View Farm that’s 15 minutes from me... what’s your family’s name?

Hey Gerry. I'm wondering what sort of fertilizing you do to the grass before your second cut? Also wondering what county your in

How's the weather out by you?
farm & countryside photography very wet at the moment but it’s to improve after today
@@gerry6420 lucky for some. We started the hay 2 weeks ago then got a thunderstorm and it's been raining ever since every day
Tidy set up there Jerry
You’ll have to wait another few years for that young man of yours to fly the drone 😂 great videos as always
Your away with it now. Good job.

Just wondering Gerry would the 64 have enough power to drive the mower and bailer? Not at same time of course😀
Yes no problem.... it’ll be on them most. It’s wasn’t on the job this time as I’m addressing a bit of rust on the mug gaurd. Didn’t bother videoing it
Great video as always gerry
We got the same baler, do you have trouble with the grass building up on the axle causing the back door not to shut properly?
Flatt out lad
Great video you need a oul case in the fleet now Gerry 😂😂
Now all you need is a wrapper!🙈😆
What year is the baler
Would you be interested in raising beef cattle from calves instead of buying in a mart. Not sure if u already doing it just something to consider
Always a tense moment first time in field for machine she looks sweet 🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪
Hi Gerry, how much fuel do you recon you use per hour when mowing?
Young Farmer Will never worked it out. I know it’ll be lot less now as swamped the gear box round to 540 rpm position on the mower and i can mow now in 540E.
Do you know the price of a swarter on them mowers by any chance?
From memory, around 5500€ extra for it
Conor Mcnamara maybe it was 6500€.... I can’t remember now. But it was around 5500-6500€
Nothing a flash cant handle
How do you manage to afford all of your equipment and the sheds also love the vids
Well established farm no doubt is a big help
Some of his machinery is a fair age but he looks after it so well it all looks bran new 👌👌👌👌

Sean Murphy a good size sfp
A L both men have mild ocd 🤣
Out of interest, why do you not put the belt down when you go round the outside row the wrong way? I.e so the 3 outside mower rows would be in 1
I’ve stopped telling people what the weather is going to be like in a few days time, never works out.
Videos are just getting better ever since u start getting your self in front of the camera
what year is the 6930
