A fair and splendid overlook of this elegant lady of Egypt, Karine. We all thank you for it, I am sure. It is easy to confuse King Farouk's sisters with his daughters, born to him by "Farida the Flawless" as she was characterized. The tradition of all issues to come of King Fuad's (Farouk's father) being given names beginning with "F", was begun by him and continued-forth faithfully by Farouk. Egypt by this time was unquestionably the leader of the Moslem world, with King Farouk expected by very many to become what is titled 'Caliph of the Muslim's,' which title the previous Sultans of the Ottoman Empire enjoyed, and which authority did then transfer post the First WW to Egypt. That this advent was not-to-be, does not subtract leastwise from the facts-in-evidence as appertaining. The present King of Egypt in absentia (Farouk's son) lives in Switzerland. He was King of Egypt in infancy under regency for one year until dissolved by the the revolutionary governance by edict. From this position he never abdicated, and so enjoys still, legitimately, the style of "His Majesty" which generally he eschews politely tho does not reject. I hope this fills-in some gaps here, making for an even better whole than from before?
I remember when women in Iran used to go to the beach in bikinis , they were very modern in past decades ......this shows how first colonization , then religion influences culture

It's easier for men because there's way less pressure and they get to make their own rules once they become king with no rhyme or reason.
Yes, I think she looks hardened. Had been through some tough times, despite the opulence.
It’s funny when you suffer from depression it’s so easy to recognize it in others….
I had never even heard of her before. She was so beautiful 💜 Lovely Video 😊 💛
She was a very beautiful woman
Thank you for doing a video on her because I have always been fascinated by her.
What a beautiful woman...
Thank you for sharing! 💛
She was not Arab. She was mixture of Albanian and Bulgarian blood.
She didn't have any Albanian or Bulgarian blood in her.
She didn’t have any Bulgarian blood only Albanian ancestors mixed with Egyptian blood
@@Noone-fd2qzonly Albanian ancestors but she was so mixed with Egyptian and the royal family always said they are Egyptian
@@Htuuiorkkv33 They never mixed with the Egyptians, They married Circassian and European women and looked down on the Egyptian population as a bunch of low-class peasants.
Old Hollywood beauty... Saw a pic of her on pinterest and you reported it in your video and made me have a reminiscence of her... Unforgettable beauty. 💜
As a arab So glad to see Egyptian woman on this channel babe 💖 can u pls do soad hosny she known as the cinderella of Egypt
She wasn't Egyptian, she was a princess of Egypt! As you know (judging by your name) modern Egyptians are Araps and visibly she doesn't belong to that race!
@@broadminded7774 Egypt not Arabs ...

Always a treat when you post!
One word sums her up BEAUTIFUL
Hi Karine. You are brilliant in all of your comments on these subjects of glamour and Hollywood. I did want to let you know these photos do NOT show up ⬆️ on the TV set, but on this, it is fine. Keep up your brilliant work. I look forward to seeing all your videos. ❤
Wow she was such a wonderful lady❤
Can you do a video on D’Angelo? He’s a musical genius and his story is tragic..
she is so classy and mysterious. i do remember her , read about her long time ago. interesting story. truly beautiful woman.
It's interesting they all have the same look.
This was so nice to know! What a beauty mA
It's amazing how much she looks like Lamarr in some shots. It's only Fawzia's nose that's a bit different, otherwise they're twins.
I love that you're covering so many stories about influential women. Please, continue. ❤
Hey Karine happy Sunday ❤️❤️❤️
Happy Sunday my love ❤❤
Thank you thank you thank you for making this!!!
She comes from Albanian family, that’s why she looks european
There’s a lot of Egyptian look like this but not Albanian
She has mostly circassian ancestry
I was looking for this comment. What was the Albanian connection to Egypt pls?
@@carpiediem2 King Mohamed Ali of Egypt.
@@Htuuiorkkv33 hahaha are you joking? Do you know what average Albanian and Egyptians look like? North Africans aren’t white. Go research her family roots and then type….internet is free.
Thank you for this history! Absolutely amazing
She also reminded me of Vivian Lee.
Princess Fawzia and Hedy Lamarr, both Scorpios
💛 yes, she does look like Hedy Lamar, and also Vivien Leigh I think. Man she was gorgeous
Please do Elizabeth Short next
I like learn more her.
Natural beauty, she was mesmerizing ❤
I remember when women in Iran used to go to the beach in bikinis , they were very modern in past decades ......this shows how first colonization , then religion influences culture
Wearing a bikini was never part of Persian culture. There were very few if any who dressed like that.
💛💛💛💛💛💛 she's beyond gorgeous
Also talk about Queen Soraya
And talk about Queen Farah Pahlavi
