Question: if a seal team enters a building like this at night, lets say its a super highly prioritized mission, for example to kill a terrorist leader, do you kill civilians while entering the building in order for them not to scream and alert the bad guys and screw the whole mission up? How would they handle a situation like that?

Have one of these seals play a tom Clancy’s game, Those are more realistic then call of duty. The sneaking element in the game is critical.

I am Korean. I have been to the military for 2 years, and to tell you about my experience, I happened to do a review of our army on this channel and I enjoyed it a lot. All Korean men go to the military to serve their mandatory military service because the Korean War is still in a truce that has not ended. It's a hard and painful time, and it's a very meaningful time at the same time. I've been training with the U.S. Army, and the U.S. military I felt before the training they had a lot of witty and warm people. In training, their eyes are full of life and they are quite professional. It was a great experience for me to develop each other while training together. While in the army, I could learn and feel many things and think it is a precious experience. I hope that all the soldiers who work hard in each country will always be safe, healthy, and unharmed.

@@huldu I think the SWAT series of games was probably one of the most realistic when it came to behavior like if he saw you and ran into that building he's now in a different position and you have to have had your element blue or red to cover your element and it sucks when you moved your blue element to a certain spot and your teammate says got one of your men down, but in that game everybody was handcuffed and your ailments actually checked in you could bang breach and clear or just breach and clear that game was probably the most underrated game that there was and I'm really sad that there has never been a upgrade to that because the designers and the people who put that game together really put you in you could play the same map a hundred times and never have the same outcome the people will never place in the same areas they never had the same type of guns they never have barricaded the same door sometimes that some doors were locked. The biggest difference was the speed - the SAS guy was ultimately slower as he fully cleared every aspect and wouldn't move forward until he was satisfied - rather than steam through as a normal 'player' would. In that regards, the issue you mentioned about that the keyboard and mouse causing the movement fast can be compensated. Besides, there are actually a large number of mods to increase the already stunning realism level of the Arma 3 comparable to that of the VBS, which is the one the Korean mentioned (interestingly it is being developed by Bohemia Simulation belonged to the Bohemia Interactive, the company that develops the Arma 3, and even the same engine, Real Virtuality 4) and used by various nations military simulations and training, including the South Korean Military. What I sometimes dislike about Call Of Duty titile is the lack of pre planning that goes into every assault, breach, or spec ops mission. It would have made the game lose its high stakes/ fast action gameplay, but it would save the player from running into a room blindly. We as the players have no idea of the layout of this apartment complex. We the players did not go over practice simulations over what to expect. All that the players are given is a target and objective, but that’s not enough. The beauty of actual breach and clear operations is how people are able to act under life threatening situations and trust one and other. But part of the experience of what makes a Call Of Duty title is really just the shock and all of it all. Going into a building blindly is deadly, but it is entertaining. Following an infantry without prior knowledge of what the objective is, is what makes the gameplay so extreme and exciting. But Realistically, if the military has a lock on a specific target, that takes months to plan and conduct.

This mission is meant to depict realism, so even regular people who play this mission take it slow and they don't rush it. The mission is meant to be done in stealth and sometimes if you mess up, the game will often say that you alerted the enemy.
Also of course it doesn't get it right all of the times but not all games are always guns blazing

I like how he is showing the realism and not trying to beat the game.

Super cool to see how someone with a completely different mind set sees these games. Me being just a regular civilian don’t ever think that deep into the situations

I wish they would make a whole game like this. Maybe have a planning section that you do yourself before scenario. Also make it like the old SOCOM games where you are in command and give instructions through your headset mic.

Realistic ? No. But the game's really good, not your typical "you can survive 3 straight bullets" bullshit. I prefer the original Insurgency over sandstorm though

Ad 5:40, your right about that. When I played day of defeat in the early 2000s I was getting crushed online, because I played it too slow and to realistically. Some people knew that I was in the army back then and asked if it was like the real thing. I said no, in reality you don’t rush everywhere like in a game, because death lures around every corner if you are careless. There is sometimes a time for a rush and a time to take your time.

There used to be games that had to be played like this. I remember very well howq long it took me to complete the first Mission in Graw2, Ghost recon advanced Warfighter. You had to control four Soldiers and use them to secure corners and your six. walk out on a street without checking and your teamsa gets mowed down by an MG 300 metres down the road before you know whats happening. I lo´ved that game.
That whole genre of tactical shooters seems to have died when Ghost recon and Rainbow Six tried to copy Call of duty.
They dont make games like this or SWAT4 anymore, or Ravewn shield.

I think games like counterstrike and valorant play alot slower than popular fps - the game modes warrant slow and peeking movements than rushing in.

The not moving part in the beginning is true. Not military here but did a lot of sports, our football team had a play on just having the person with the ball stand still and not move. About 80% of the time people would just ignore you since you aren't moving. Always blew my mind
