There's a Spec Ops guy on the youtube channel ControlledPairsGaming who does Door Kicker vids where he analyses like this. He also does shooter games with people. Might be worth connecting up or reacting to some of his videos in the future!

You can find this on sports like chess or certain videogames, where people.will teach a beginner many rules that the expert often ignores (but they know when to, or how to properly handle doing it)
While he was playing the game, he kept complaining that no one is following him and covering the other side. He rushed into the room alone not because he was from a special force, but because the game won’t go on if he didn’t. And he kept mentioning that he won’t do this in a real life. He also said, in a real life, you almost always go into a room with 2 or more until you are in an extremely tight space. I noticed that the translation is a little off time to time. For example, when he put on a NVG he said, “your vision won’t be as wide as this” instead the translation said “vision is extremely narrow.” Subtle but important, i think.
Iirc the SAS use the new so called “quad” NVGs, the same NODs used by the DEVGRU(or if you prefer, SEAL Team Six) when they went to Osama Bin Laden’s compound.
quads are quickly being replaced by dual lense in many teams because of weight and bulkiness. Quads do provide better field of view but not significantly better than dual lense to compensate for the weight you have to carry on your head and get snagged on anything. Korean Navy SEAL received quads from the government along with other Special Operations but a lot of operators just use their dual tube for the reason above. You see that is the case for a lot of other countries as well

After he shot the arm man, he said “don’t move” twice. Once she grab a weapon, then he fired. You can tell it’s engraved in his muscle memory.
