Watching you do this is like watching Bob Ross paint, man. Just very mesmerizing. Lol.

Yes sir. I see a difference.

We used to "tint" motorcycle headlights with opaque decals that had tiny holes cut out of them. Same principle as you see on the rear windows of some pickups when they put a mural back there. Even those applications didn't really hinder light transmission at all. This couldn't possibly be any worse, and appears much better.

No reflection on what you are covering. It simply covers the light transfer. I used to custom paint tail lights. First thing I would do was paint a "chrome or silver" color to reflect the light. Than paint whatever color over top. Used to make the light 10x brighter

As someone who is always looking for the best light performance on my bikes and cars, this mod has always baffled me. I'm always replacing lights, buffing lenses, installing projectors, replacing old working bulbs, etc. for maximum output. Tinting my lenses would be pissing in the wind! Thumbs down? I think not! It was still a great video. Thanks, man! 👍

If you are looking for maximum visibility and light, yes this is not for you. If you are looking for a custom look on your vehicle or bike it looks a lot better than stock. Just my opinion

Great light comparison with and with out. I have 2022 tundra with LED and was concerned of light loss, tsss no factor

Hi, can you please show how to wrap Tahoe/Yukon rear lights? They got really hard edges with 90 degree angles and change in curvature at some points. It was hard to me to make it 100% perfectly done since I end up with a few wrinkles on the wrap 💔

Amazing video!!! The tints look fantastic. I watched all of your headlight and taillight tinting videos and the tail lights look amazing with the light smoke. I have a Lexus GS and the outer tail light has two slips in there that are above the surface of the rest of the tail light. I’m trying to figure out the best way to go about wrapping the tail light. If you could give me any advice that would be appreciated. 2016 Lexus GSF outer tail light if you Google it you can see the two fans at the outside of the tail light that I need help with.

You think you could try your best on 2020 f150 taillights??? I'm wondering the difficulty if even possible.

How would I wrap my rear taillights on my f150 with the BLIS house? These protrued out some . My 3rd taillight I assume would be easy as well as my fogs and turn signals on the mirrors.

I have a new Raptor Shelby Baja. Looking at tinting headlights and taillights. How much do you think i need to get the job done ! Also, did you do a video of the taillights on this truck ? Appreciate it !

I have done my taillights with vvivid’s dark smoke and on both sides even though i installed with different method after the first one, they hazed. Like either a huge glue line or just discolored about 10 inches even though i stretched it jus a little bit. Any ideas why ?

I've been tinting for over 13 years, I own a shop in oregon. I tried to tint the headlights of a 2020 Tacoma with vvivid air release and I could not get it, I only had 1 try though but it wouldn't relax at the edges

What is the best squeegee to use when applying vinyl on vehicles, in your opinion. Im using the 3m gold with a suede tip but i usually get air bubbles.

there is a small change. but to the better for me. the untinted one is really really bright white, so is the yellow, kind of pale. in the tinted one, the white is bright but not irritating like the untinted, and the yellow has that real orange. id go for tinted anyday

I did the dark black one and I think my fog lights had at least twice as much light output. Tore it off after 2 days. It looked so sexy with Halo led headlights. 😞

I don’t think the vinyl will stick to the plastic as well as it does with paint or lights. احسن واحد

Use 3M caliper film and it will stick. It's stronger than typical films.

Another great and informative vid. My only issue was the first few minutes where you had to cover your butt with legal issue crap. If you're an A$$ and can't drive your stock vehicle properly... you shouldn't modify it! Keep up the amazing work and posting vids

  • @Eddie89

I used the dark tint on mine aaaaand I did lose quite a bit of visibility. It brought modern day headlights to how cars in 1998 lights looked. Could still see but it did bring down brightness. I just cut out some words to shine light through.

Light shade tint is 50%, which means only 50% of the light will come through. So you’re technically cutting out 50% of the light output. Dark shade is 20% which means only 20% of the light will come through the tint. So you’re cutting out 80% of the light output.
