- My dad literally just got this brand new 2021 Ford F-150 XLT a month ago and I'm going to PlastiDip/HyperDip the emblems, and VHT Tint his tail light!! I never liked VHT Nite-Shades tail light but I gotta do it on this application.

Thank you! It didn't affect BLIS and I've seen someone go darker than this and it still worked perfectly fine!
How's the plasti dip holding up on the exhaust tip with the heat coming out of the exhaust? Looks great though!! Love it
With atleast 7 coats, I'm surprised that it's still on!

@@ItsEricVenzon Question bro. Your work inspired me. I also have a 21 f150, but it’s an xl stx model and the tail lights are different. I was wondering if you could tell me what you recommend as far as what all to tape for the tint? Tint all but the brake light? Thanks my guy!
@@invinceable210 hey man! I'm glad that it inspired you! For me, I only tint the red parts and leave the reverse and turn (if not red).

just a question, what do u use to get rid of those decal remants on the window?? can I use a wd40?
@@piratecanada I would be really careful with WD40. Soak it in a rug and rub it off and don't spray it on to the surface. I used a brand called Goo Gone.
@@ItsEricVenzon can I use water instead of wax n tar remover? after sanding
@@piratecanada You can use rubbing alcohol just to make sure there's no grease. 👌🏼

Wuz up Eric man you did a great job. I have the exact same truck same color and also a xlt 302a but a v8. I have the 360 assist 2.0 with bliss. I want to black out the tail light, the cargo light as well, and the f150 fender trim as well, also the front and the rear ford logo. I’m scared to do it as I might screw it up. I also like how you also replaced the fx 4 off road to decal. Wanted to change it to fx4 off road sport lol all black as well. Any tips. Can you do matte finish on the ford logo and fender trim instead of gloss. You in the Bay Area. Thanks for the video
Hey man! Thanks for viewing! Can't go wrong with the v8! It's almost a year and no issues with the sensors since I've only done 2 coats of the tint. You can definitely do a matte finish with those trims with a different procedure. Unfortunately I'm in Alberta. 😅 But good luck with your project Roland!

Can I substitute the vht tint for the rustoleum spray tint?

@@jscatton2768 if you're in Canada, all of these can be found in Canadian Tire. If you're outside of Canada, any automotive shop (O'Reilly Auto Parts, Harbor Freight, etc.)
