I'm a pond contractor of 30 years experience. In 2024 I used the seek leak from TJ on 2 ponds. Both had never held more than a foot of water for 20 plus years. Both are sealed and over flowing for the first time ever.

Been working with TJ for a couple of weeks now to build a plan for my ponds. He is super helpful. He is not out to sell you anything and truly wants to help you find the most cost effective solution. Definitely contact him if you are having issues with your pond.

@SeekLeak Worked like a charm TJ. We are in a drought and I'm down 18". Which is great. If I had to guess. I'd say I cut the leak by 75%. And still have a 3rd of the product left. Grateful to you and we've been blessed with no Hurricane activity. But I could use a week of rain.

Thank you for this test and your analysis of these two products. I've already purchased the Damit and we will pray it fixes our pond leak.
Do you know if the air temperature or, water temperature will affect applications effectiveness?
You’re welcome. I did the same thing too. I bought Damit first. It may work….it all depends on how large the leak is, and if it hits the mark. For is, our leak was so large, that the lesser expansion of the Damit didn’t seem to effect it. I know others that have had some success with it. Hope you’re in that camp.
As for temperature, I don’t know for sure if it affects the expansion of the polymer a lot. But I would plan to apply it before water temps drop below 50 degrees. Warmer is better in general I would think. That being said, I might try an application through the ice this winter just to test it directly over where I know we have leaked in the past.

Does it get hardened overtime or just turned into rubber-like material? Great comparison video you made!
Good question. I’m not entirely sure. In my test, when I cleaned out the glass jars, it was firm, but still jelly-like. But, my substrate in the test was sand. The polymer is designed to chemically adhere to clay. So when you put it in a pond with a clay bottom, I believe it will become more solid when it bonds to clay. As I continue to watch our application in our pond bottom and how the polymer ages mixed with the clay bottom, I’ll have a better idea. Thanks for watching and for the question. All of our phone calls and pond strategy consults have been graciously gifted. And on too of that, seekleak worked for us and reduced our leak by at least 90%.
I can not find seek leak anywhere, it automatically takes me to soilfloc Everytime.

I don't know about Damit, but I can tell you from experience that Soilfloc don't work.
I’m sorry to hear that. I used the Damit first, and saw no improvement. The soilfloc/seekleak made all the difference for us. We were losing 4” daily, and now through seekleak applications, we’ve reduced it by 85%. I can’t speak to your experience, but that hasn’t been our experience with the product. Hope you’ve been able to find a solution.
