I purchased my M12 in 2020 during a HD sale for $99 and it included 2x 2.0 batts, charger and carry bag. Untouchable deal. This year I jump on the $94 HD hacked M18 inflator and while I initially thought it was big and heavy, it's now my go to. M12 has it's place, and lately it's on the shelf but I can't bring myself to sell it so I'm keeping it.
I’ve got an unopened m18 one that came for free with batteries and now I’m buying the m12 one because it comes with 4 batteries and the m12 radio/charger for under $400 right now. I could return the m18 and get $110 back. Should I return that and just rock with the m12 or keep both? I know the m18 is way faster and can go to higher psi but is it worth not returning? Should I keep the m12 in the car and m18 in the garage or just keep the m12. Not an option to return the m12 even tho that’s what I’d do
So we have a shop on our property I keep the M 18 down at the shop and the M 12 up at the house for the couple of vehicles that are up here. I would not return that M18. It is powerful and you’ll regret it it’s not worth the money you get back on it my opinion.
@@TempleThomas I currently work in a shop where we have a huge air compressor so any tire filling I do is straight from the shop compressor but I’m wondering if this is a universal thing with shops? I’m 18 and have only been working in the industry since I was 15. Is a portable inflator gonna help that much? Any time Ive done off site tire work it’s been just bringing a whole new tire- besides at home fills on personal vehicles I don’t see myself having the m18 with me at work but I absolutely see your point about it not being with that $100. Just wondering I guess about different applications
The M12, for $99 in kit form, was the best score for me, in 2021 Black Friday (November) deals! How much is the M18?
It’s $179 for the tool only. I didn’t see a kit of any kind.

Does the M12 inflator work at a lower psi? The M18 does't do anything under 10 psi.....Great video!
Thank you. And yes it does 5 PSI

So which one is faster?
The M18 for sure
Wasted time I'll never get back! Never answered the time for each unit to get to 70psi!!
