I have one of these inflators for 3-4 years now. It’s worth it’s weight in gold. It’s come in handy more times than I can count. I drive with one of these and a plug kit in my truck most of the time you don’t need to change a tire you can fill the tire with inflator while plugging the tire still on the truck when you get a screw/nail etc in your tire. On vaca it fills floats and air beds nieces and nephews bicycle tires. . You can own a compressor but most people can’t drive around with one this is perfect for behind the seat or in the trunk etc. middle of night on the side of the road. I’ve helped friends neighbors myself with this tool .

I got this deal as a combo last December it came with the inflator, battery, 3/8 impact wrench and a socket set and ratchet for $150 it is a great combo set the inflator is a great product use it almost once a day to top off tires. The impact wrench is not meant to take off lug nuts but good to work on under the hood

  • @hartmanholmes

Honestly this thing is worth the $120 tool only. I got it for the $99 a couple of years ago and it gets used on a regular basis. Fits under the backseat of my F250 with about a half inch to spare before it hits the bottom of the seat. All of my trailer tires are 14ply 110psi and my truck tires are 35x12.50R20 12ply 65psi. This inflator will get a trailer tire up to 70-80 psi with a couple batteries and will get a truck tire to 65 psi no problem(both from 0 psi). It doesn’t bother me to take a sec (especially if you just plugged a 14ply on the side of the road) and sit in the truck while it fills up. Auto shut off a nice feature. It’ll get pretty hot after filling a trailer tire, but it works every time I use it. My girlfriend calls me with a flat 2-4x a year and I can meet her wherever for 10 minutes and we’re both back on the road. This is one of the most underrated milwaukee tools and $99-$120 to not be on the side of the road waiting on AAA is a move

One of my favorite Milwaukee tools. When you are on the side of the road and the Scout Trailer just blue a tire … this is what you use to get the spare up to pressure. It’s also so handy that I find I checki the tires on our families fleet of three vehicles.

I have one of those. Used it for a few years, it inflates quicker than any other battery inflator. It is great for topping off small tires and occasionally a large tire. Mine started acting up after a year of regular use, I dissected it and found the reciprocating piston is very cheaply made, Black and Decker even uses better materials. I gave it to my wife for her to top off her car tires until it dies. I do give it to Milwaukee, it is fast and efficient, a 10/10. But durability is a 3/10. The Black and Decker 20v inflator, although slower, is much more durable.

I have a few of them and they're great. This summer they had some "special buy" labeled kits with the inflator, charger, battery, and the top off for $99. As long as you're not trying to air up past about 85 psi it works great (I killed one trying to air up a tire on my service truck).

@VCG Construction. Hey Vince. I have both that Milwaukee inflator and the Dewalt one. I think my Dewalt is a little more quiet and just a bit slower than the Milwaukee inflator. I like the controls on the Dewalt. I bought the Milwaukee inflator about two years ago when it was bundled with a brushed 3/8" impact wrench and 3/8" ratchet set with sockets for about $150. Very convenient inflators to have like you said to top off your tires or inflate a flat tire.

Hey! I've had this tool for a long time.. For smaller tires like bikes and things.. Id recommend setting a 2-3 PSI less than the PSI you actually want, as there is a delay between when the reading shows, and what it actually is. I found that it would routinely go a few PSI higher than I set it. Hope this helps. Also I would recommend getting a 6AH battery for this thing.. Definitely fills faster and lasts quite a while.

it works good for what it is, specially for atv's but i have also used it for vehicles as well. However my dislike is it is bulky and it does not have a 12v cord if the battery dies which it will on a large tire. a better choice i feel for storage and usability is the Ridgid 18v digital inflator R87044 (hybrid) this one works much better and comes with a 12v cord if you dont want to use the battery and a quick release for connectiong to the valve stem instead of having to screw it on like Milwaukee. I carry the ridgid in my SxS and ATV with ease unlike the Milwaukee. The both work much better then any other 12v compact inflator i have used in the past. Oh and the Ridgid come with the LSA so how can you go wrong with that. If you use a larger battery it will just extend the run time not make it fill any faster generally speaking obviously there are things that can affect output.

I love mine. I have used a 6ah to fill up full trailer loads and does the trick!

This is great for topping off like you said and is compact for travel. No, it isn't fast, but still worth it. I run XC batteries with this. This thing lives in my truck.
M18 is going to be way faster, but is also 5x the size and 3.5x the cost (bare tool).

Why is it terrible? The charger works perfectly for me, all 3 of mine

This thing isn't junk. I have many, many Milwaukee tools and any time my tool nerd friends ask me what my most under rated tool is, I tell them the inflator, no question.

I'll not sure about that one.
I could use something like that. But I am glad to see it featured in a video. The more I think about it, I think I would just go with the larger 18V Milwaukee or 18V Metabo HPT battery compressor. That way there is no doubt that the job will get done. Thanks Vince for the video.

I got The M12 inflater. I like it. Set it and forget it fills your tire up. Pretty accurate too. Come on Vince maybe you got to hit the gym.

Would it be useful to blow water out of intricate metal parts after a sonic-cleaner bath?

It's a really nice compressor. But I think the Ridgid Digital inflator is the best one out there. You should check it out!

You probably had a little cross threading going on at first. It always takes me more than one attempt to form a seal because the threads are so fine and the angle is weird.

    I love my inflator!
Very convenient for the right price 💯
    Go Vince!
    P. S. Although you don't get more power a 6ah will fill up all your tires, from flat, with no problem!

Nice to have but it’s a battery eater! Run a 6.0 just to make sure you can finish all four or six tires. Honestly Ryobi tire inflator is amazing. I use this mainly for line testing. Tires in a pinch.

Vince I have the Dewalt one. I LOVE it for my motorcycles and I also use to top off my vehicles, and motorcycle trailer tires. Dewalt seems a nicer than this one but thats just my observation..... 👍
