Seems like a decent enough tool. It's been a while since I got a new toy and this fills that gap. If the Home Depot sale is still going buy that. if not see the link below.

I’ve had this inflator a few years it’s a good tool not the fastest but got me out of a few jams with a plug kit. There’s been once or twice I’ve helped out a few strangers with it flat tire etc. I recently upgraded to the m18 version .

    • @M.TTT.
      @M.TTT. ปีที่แล้ว +2

the m18 is great, so much easier to fill the lawnmower, wheelbarrow, etc. tires up quick without getting out the heavy compressor.

These are not designed to pump up multiple flat, full size tires. They are designed to top off low tires. But I'm here to tell you they will inflate full size truck tires if you have 4 or 6 ah batteries or multiple smaller ones. These little beasts are LIFE SAVERS. I drive a 4wd F-250 in places that routinely have lots of stuff laying around that isn't tire friendly. If you also have a portable fan, you can run this thing pretty much continuously until you run out of battery. Otherwise, it will thermally shut down to protect itself in hot weather. They got me out of a few jambs and made life easier on many, many occasions. It will fill completely flat wheelbarrow and hand cart or dolly tires, bike tires, or footballs, soccer balls, basketballs etc in seconds. I was so impressed, I got one for every car and family member. The M18 model has a built in cooling fan, multiple presets, is much faster, and pumps a LOT more air. But it's way bigger than these. I now carry the M18 in my truck. Plumbers will love them for pressure testing gas and water lines. I can't recommend them enough. That said, I wish they included a volume blower like the Dewalt model. These aren't the Droids your looking for if you want to fill an air mattress. The M18 compact blower is great for that and comes with the attachments to blow up big volume inflatables.

I'm retired and don't drive that much anymore so this little guy is perfect for maintaining my tire pressure where it belong. And it beats the hell out of going to the gas station and paying a dollar or two to fill your tires. Most of the time gas station air pumps are broken and you gotta drive around like an idiot looking for one !

I used my inflator several times. Mostly to add air to a leaking tire, about 10 psi in a car tire and motorcycle tires. I found the psi was pretty accurate. It's real easy to use, compared to waiting for the air compressor to fill up and then dragging out the hoses.

Yeah the presta valve is for road bicycle inner tubes. Very good review and impressed it's m12. I am happy with my m12 tools, but for some reason, the Milwaukee m12 charger failed on me after 6 months. We have an m18 charger at work that failed within a year. Maybe it is from leaving the fully-charged battery on the charger too long? Not sure, but I bought the non-milwaukee chinese m12 charger and it has been fine. It's also a dual port, m12 and m18. Really enjoy your channel and your humor. Thanks for the videos.

8:55 id trust the Milwaukee digital gauge over that type (have one at work... wasnt lined up right... it scratched off all the lower numbers... and is CONSTANTLY reads 8 pounds low)
    .
but id trust the TPMS over everything (as long as its a half ass decent sensor.... not the cheap ass sensors people get from like alibaba or E-bay)
    .
    .
ya gotta love the people who come into the shop like.....
"my low tire went off.... so i filled it up.... still on, so i filled it up more... still on"
    .
end up with like 140 PSI in a 4 ply / 44 PSI max tire
    .
"um, person, you almost gave yourself a Darwin award......"
    "OMG! wiat, how?"
"by putting 155 PSI into a 44 MAXIMUM!!! tire"
"well, i didnt have a gauge.... and the light stayed on.... so i just filled it up till it was round!"
    .
what i wanted to say way "wow, you are so damn stupid, how do you have enough IQ to pass a drivers edu test???"
what i said was "ya, the light or "low tire" message will come on if the tire has TOO!!! much PSI also.........."
    "oooohhhhhhh that explains a lot!!!"
    .
    .
    .
and ya.... had that convo with SEVERAL people......
women, man.....redneck, city slicker......... ETC ETC
    .
you would be shocked at the amount of 4 plys ive seen with over 100 PSI.........
when you are jumping back after checking the PSI.... because of instinct..... (like, its not gonna blow if its already held that for miles and miles.... but it still shocks your system pretty damn good!!!!)
    .
    idk.... darwin yourself...
but dont get a blow out because you put 160 darwin pressures into a tire.........and then say the place you got the air from IS WHAT MADE you crash into a school bus full of kids....................
if you would have asked.... we would have told you about the sticker, and filled them up for free!

    I need help.
I need to build and inventory of tools, starting from scratch, and these days that means buying into a battery system, and I can't for the life of me decide between Milwaukee or DeWalt's M18/FlexVolt. I know Milwaukee makes better cordless hand tools, but DeWalt offers better yard tools. Milwaukee has better run time on yard tools, but significantly less power. Totally stuck on which system to buy into. Help in deciding would be appreciated. Ideally, I'd have a couple of identical batteries I could use for just about anything.

A 10 minute 50% duty cycle means it's only specified to run for 5 minutes within a 10 minute period. So it's not specified to run 10 minutes straight, but only 5 minutes.
Duty cycle is defined as a fraction (or percentage or ratio) of a complete on-and-off cycle period which is 10 minutes in this case.

Presta valve aka French valve. Which are on a lot of racing bicycles and higher-end bicycles e.g. pinarello dogma, specialized s-works, cannonadle system six, etc.
Most inflators only work with schrader valves though because people use them mostly for automotive (cars, trucks, etc.) so you need a presta valve to schrader valve adapter which is what that appears to be.

It would be interesting to see what it looks like inside. In recent years, more and more compressors have an extremely poor, simplified construction. For example, the piston and connecting rod are one piece! Which quickly shreds the piston seal, after which it all goes to waste. I have also seen this construction in Xiaomi compressors, from which I had (slightly) higher expectations.

So the home depot price being and extra 35-$40 you're getting a 5yr warranty with it...if you keep the receipt. Otherwise they will just go but the seriel number to see when it was made and if it was made later then 5yrs but you bought it within 3 yrs and dont keep the receipt, or buy from amazon, the warranty is no good.

I thought it would be great to put in my back pack for long range bike riding trips and if I got a flat I could patch hole and refill and keep going on my bicycle and that's all it's good for is a emergency on my bike. Good for car tires and stuff under 50 psi

Im getting one for the drag strip. Need to air down while racing and air back up when u leave. Having my own inflator will cut off 20-30 mins of waiting in line at the end of the night.

I go to the obx 4x4 beach multiple times a year and I use one of these every time and it fills all of my K02’s but no it’s not the fastest and will overheat if used in direct sunlight

I use one of those about once a week - my old beat up tires (or rims maybe) lose air about that quickly. Those little inflators are great - and a battery one is nice so you don't have to run your car to inflate the tires (though that might be better on the road).

Its so hard to find pure genuine common sense anywhere these days, let alone on the internet, and youtube worse. Keep up the amazing witty content, I crack up on every one.

Battery capacity meters are quite sketchy as rate of discharge changes the measure.
Same effect applies to charging. Fast charging is less efficient.
These inflators are perfect for the top off and small tire use.

I use a Harbor Freight air compressor that runs off the car battery. Works a little faster but runs kind of hot. Wouldn’t want to run out of batteries running this

I have a small cheep tire inflater type thing I got out of my old Hyundai elantra its a cheep piece of plastic but that damn thing has come in handy several times I've gotten more value of it than the pos car it came with been looking for a better version of it cause I doubt its gonna last to much longer

I've used one for a few months and it's great for small jobs. I also accidentally turn it off instead of starting it like he did at least once per use.
